First 2 times i ordered previously, the food was ok. Not great, just ok. Today i ordered and the fried wonton were not cooked and the general tao's chicken had no taste and was all a bunch of soggy bread mushed up on top of plain bland pork fried rice. The fried wonton once you took a bite you tasted raw dough. I had ordered several foods with intention to eat for lunch (at work) and then take the rest home have for dinner. Now i have the beef lo mein to take home and am trying to decide if i should just throw it out or carry it and see what it tastes like when i get home. I called the place back to complain and he kept asking me if i got the food even though i just told him everything that was wrong. Then he's arguing with me saying i'm wrong, the wonton is cooked. He didn't try to resend the food or offer a discount for next time.... nothing. I said look i will not be ordering from you again. He just said sorry.

I just went there and I ordered Sesame tofu and French fries and it tasted so disgusting it didn't even looked cooked. I went to take a bite and right off the bat I felt like throwing up the food was disgusting. Learn how to cook food...you guys need to go out of business it was horrible. Also my friend wanted to sit down and a delivery guy came in with his bike since they leave inside the restaurant and he said excuse me can you move and started moving his bike. And he almost hit her with the chair next to her and the bike first of tried to get outside to park it cause that was completely disrespectful. I was going to give no stars but it wasn't an option. Sadly.

I go to Wok City about once every week. It is not only just a block from Lincoln Center and near the Broadway Theatre District, but serves fresh and delicious food. They have a few seats, yet take out is quick, staff is friendly and I've never been disappointed. Just lovely people work here who are always happy to help all their customers. They are also so fast to prepare food whether I've called to order or stop in placing my order directly. Take it from Jan, I highly recommend ordering from Wok City, easy to reach right near the number one, West 66th Street subway station and many bus lines.

Their Cash only policy sucks. I refuse to insert my card in their ATM that might be rigged to clone cards. I find 7 bucks, young guy wants 8.75, asked for wings only....7 dollars for 4 And he rathered lose 7 and a customer over 1.75. Ridiculous

The food was plain, and not fresh at all I order chicken wings it taste bad and my daughter ordered chicken broccoli the chicken had a weird texture. If you're looking for under-the-budget and fresh this isn't the place to go. Sorry!

there were couple time that food was fresh and delicious (delivery after 45min from placing an order)but they started delivering this nasty and uncooked food. delivery was super fast literally 15 min after placing an order but that only tells you that the food its pre-made before . I'll never order from this place again and I strongly advise you do the same because you will be super disappointed

Im Literally crying right now because i waited all this long for my food just for them to not put what i ask on top. Now i have just dry nasty food with no sauce!!! It is not a cozy environment, it's an order and go restaurant for fast Chinese food. Dishes are great, but they take cash only. This is a little daunting sometimes, but they have an ATM machine for you too. Get the cash to pay for your food. Because it's so quick, they do a great turnover business. I recommend it for their good food.

This place used to be a good, basic takeout place but has declined. The next-to- last time I w ent, the wonton soup tasted odd, so I didn't finish it; I felt sick later. The last time I went, the soup tasted better than before, but everything had an aftertaste of some kind -- not an overpowering one, but noticeable. They seem to have changed their ingredients, and not for the better.

The food is ok but when I get small shrimps and rice most of the shrimps are on the top and none mixed up down at the bottom and the ribs seems like you're eating just bone. I don't know if all of wok city's are the same if they have another wok city oh and where do they put there garbage you never see that, it makes me wonder .

Haven’t tried their food because they never informed me I needed cash to pay for my delivery and the delivery guy got very angry and yelled at me at my workplace. He also got upset and hung up the phone on me when I said to come inside since I can’t leave my desk, he peaked inside and went back out. Would’ve been nice to be informed earlier on the phone that they would take cash.

Food was good ...BUT THE DELIVERY GUY. HE IS A PIECE OF WORK. I live on the 5th flr. I told him to bring the food up...He told me your not a celebrity so come down and get your FOOD...Woooooow. HE always have an attitude. WHY TAKE THE JOB!!!

I ordered 2 rib tips and 4 spring rolls the delivery person said it was 20.00 i gave him the 20.00 and ask for change of a 20.00 to give him a tip he said I owe him 20.00?. I gave back the food and told him to get out of office and then called his boss who hung up on me. As he was leaving he began cussing me out. Never will do business with them ever again.

Food was NASTY and the shrimps were not clean and over cooked, I ordered shrimp and Broccoli and had to pay $3 more for the vegetable including the broccoli that came with the meal the lady was very rude and as you can tell by my plate nothing extra was added. I had to throw it in the trash.

These people are ridiculous place lunch special . Pork fried rice and sesame chicken. There were 4 pieces of pork in rice and sesame chicken was over cooked and dry. They have gotten worst at time goes by . Won't be ordering or returning back again . Only reason I gave it a star is because won't let me write review if I didn't rate it .

I ordered food to my job and the delivery guy was rude to me about the tip I gave him!! Gave my friends and I attitude and stood inside my job waiting for more of a tip!! Then walked out and was staring at us! Such rude customer service. On top of that the wonton soup was TERRIBLE. Never ordering from here again!

Quality of the food has dropped. Service is terrible from the ladies, they don't like giving back charge, something cost $9.95 and they never have a .05¢ to give you change.

I have been ordering from this place for years and I haven’t been disappointed. They have fast service and good food. Just be aware of the language barrier and that it’s fast-food, not gourmet so curb your expectations. Also, the chicken and broccoli is my favorite.

Food is so good. I ordered the broccoli beef combo with egg roll. Definitely recommend and price is very reasonable.

Ordered mixed vegetables with garlic sauce and brown rice. How can any establishment go wrong with that. It had no flavor no garlic. I had to add salt and lots of pepper to make it edible tasting. Worst $7.40 Chinese food I ever tasted

Food isn't consistent sometimes its okay other times not so much. Deliveries are VERY quick here compared to other places in the area. The delivery guys can be jerks when it comes to tips sometimes.

I've been eating from here for more than 25 years. Their food is great and the prices are normal. Wok City is one of my favorite neighborhood spots for Chinese food!

I asked if I can pay with a card and they said to not call them again… I’m giving them 2 stars because he said “please” after saying not to call them again. Lol?

The fried rice is just not cook properly rice is so hard. Chicken is the worst it tastes like fish I quess because they use the same grease for everything …
