The Wood House Café, located on Louis Drive, off Sani Abacha Road, GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt is a cosy setup aimed at affording you all the comfort and ambience ideal for an intimate (or relaxing) experience. The vicinity is situated in a not-so-conspicuous setting, making it difficult for first-timers to locate (as was the case in my experience). A much more noticeable signpost should be mounted for easy identification. Also, do not expect an expanse parking area, although there is provision for a paid parking lot, or you might as well just park by the road (if your stay would be brief). The ambience of this café is set to bring you the options of either an outdoor or indoor experience. There is the provision of a hand wash basin for hygiene practices just by the entrance. The outdoor setting gives off a rustic feel (thanks to the adequate use of woods). On the other hand, the indoor setting is more retro in aesthetics and is just as relaxing as the outdoor setting. The range of foods and drinks (which are fairly affordable) is somewhat overwhelming, but you can rest assured to get all the help you need from service attendants. Never mind, some items on the menu aren't always available. The convenience is (to my amazement) gender neutral (I know!), which shows how progressive Wood Café is. However, I was disappointed when I realised how next to no privacy it afforded (maybe it had something to do with space). ‍♀️ My experience here was okay (not spectacular), and I wouldn't mind stopping by for a quick meetup. The staff were great in their delivery of services and very helpful as well.

For a city that was once so full of life, it was a relief to find a place like Wood House cafe. Port Harcourt city is a shadow of itself. A once bubbling city, filled with people, exotic places and the unavoidable hangouts.. The insecurities plaguing the state; killings and kidnappings to list a few would not have you wonder why the night life there is nonexistent. When its 8pm, everywhere is deserted except in places like GRA. I wouldn't blame the scared citizens. You then can understand my excitement when I found wood house cafe. The ambience is homely. You will just want spend all your money and stay longer. Beautiful decor and courteous staff. Their service is a bit slow but on the other hand, you have a variety of games to keep you busy even if you have to play it over and over until your food arrives. Menu includes a variety of light food and very affordable. Yes it is, when compared to Lagos. My food cost 2k excluding drinks. I had drumsticks..hmmm.so juicy and well cooked and seasoned.

Woodhouse Cafe is a one of the nicer chill spots in port harcourt. The decor is really nice, a collection of wood and antiques that gives it a really nice retro look. That being said, the staffs are quite lukewarm. I had to signal one over about 5 mins after I entered. Also I ordered a burger and it took an hour to get ready. To me, that’s inexcusable, I mean, it’s just a burger. I got it to go, and the lady forgot to put ketchup with the fries and I had to drive back to get it. I would have given a 2 star for the bad service; but the food is nice so leaving it at a 3. Plus they are also environmental friendly as I didn’t get plastic with my take away order (except the little ketchup container) . That’s commendable. Everything was wrapped in paper. That being said, I don’t think I’ll be going back there. Poor service is a big turn off.

Cozy, romantic and beautiful are words I would use to describe it. The ambience is great, music is good, staff are courteous. Environment is clean and location is OK. The place has a rustic feel and they serve a variety of American stuff. Stay away if all you want is isiewu or Eba and soup. They serve good coffee, yummy milkshake, spirits, beer, wine etc Then you get to decide if you want cheesecake, mozzarella chips, sandwich, breakfast at dinner and so on. You also can play board games. I played ludo and I think chess is available. There's free wifi, so while you munch your selection of meats or snacks and drinks, you can upload your pix and location on social media, lol. I'd love to visit again. It's a great place and its an ideal place for a date...

The ambience looked more like a place under repair from the last time I was here. The order taking was clumsy as there was one menu for our 4 party. After 1 hour, we were informed that one of the item we ordered was not available. The order was soooooo late and the nonchalant attitude was palpable. Other diners were equally frustrated. You could hear the argument in the kitchen. This restaurant need a professional touch and supervision. I cannot believe this was the place I came to sometime ago. Sad

Top notch, honestly... The customer service, the food and my mocktail was the best I have had since I arrived at PortHarcourt. Been craving snails in a while and the few I had tasted in restaurants didn't do justice to my cravings but this one did.. My order was a punch with cherry mocktail and snails with fries with stew sauce. It was delicious and filling at the same time. I had some extra cravings, the cherry that came with my mocktail was good, I requested for more cherries and I was given. If there is anything above excellent, this is. Will come back soon!

I first became aware of Woodhouse café in 2018, looked forward to having brunch for a long time with heightened expectations so here's what I met. Firstly, the lady that attended to me was mild and calm. I like to way she said "Breakfast is served" when she brought my meal, customer service is huge for me. The decor is lit for a brunch. The music was bland but who cares anyway. A very decent restroom and a beautiful scenery. My four-star is because they didn't prepare the egg well but I enjoyed my meal generally. You should check them out when you are in town!

The rustic decor of this place gives it an appealing ambience. It’s not just a pretty place but the food here is standard. Their menu offers lovely breakfast and lunch options and I still randomly crave their American breakfast. Food Review I have no complaints really everything was delicious but for preference I would go with the American breakfast (which was what I personally ordered ) Drink Review I had a Piña colada do not ask why I’m having an alcoholic drink for breakfast .I would boldly give this drink an 8/10 , it was rich and delicious .

I had an amazing time here, the interior is really nice and clean, they’ve also got board games to keep you busy. I came here for a few drinks and I did enjoy the ones I had. The drinks were quite affordable for a place of that standard… soft drinks/water were N500/200 respectively, shots were between N800-1500, cocktails/mocktails were from N2000 upwards and then the higher range of drinks for the rich people. The mixologist was quite friendly and the waitress who attended to us was really polite.

Wood House is in need of an interior upgrade. Food is tasty, spiced just right but very stingy portions. Both spaghetti and House Special rice. I was disappointed by the tiny chicken portions called wings I loved the meatballs though! Very well prepared.

Lovely interiors and a welcome difference in PH... I had fried yam with sauce and though delicious, 2 sticks were not well fried. Also, you might need to ask for more sauce with your yam. Their chips were nicely done and the chicken wings were delicious. My husband had jollof rice with fried plantain... It was not hot and the plantain was not so great.

I had a good time, it was refreshing to know that ph has a place like this. The spring rolls was tasty, my smoothie was good too. It’s really cozy and beautiful in there.I think the wait time has improved a bit or maybe i got lucky as against the information i was given. Generally i had a good time and i ll recommend!

The place is really nice, neat and cozy. The interior decoration with that old school fusion is a really great idea that gives the place a special look.. The service is great, and the food is lovely. This place is really good for people who do not like being in crowded areas.

The service here is good. The food menu is simple and they have various drinks... milkshakes, smoothie... you can get it here. Most of all the food was delicious. Worth the money paid. Moderately priced. Good portion of food. I would go there again...

It's a lovely place to hang out with friends. The food is yummy and they make the best milk shakes! They also have games that you could play with friends (Ludo, Scrabble, etc.), which is a very nice feature. Looking forward to going back there …

The service, ambience and food was ok. I had their Half American Breakfast. It was quite tasty. There’s an updated menu which I have attached as the ones I had seen earlier were old and misleading.

My favorite is here is usually the spring roll and samosa (for small chops of course) and then the dirty English smoothie. But on this day I decided to have fresh juice and my usual (small chops). The small chops didn't taste fresh here and

Wood House cafe is a beautiful nice african setting mixed with western spice restaurant layout. I was impressed with the way you can have access to some traditional Nigerian games while you wait for your order. I noticed that have a wheel
