(English) Something weird happened to me in this place. When we arrived to this place they asked for cash and we couldn’t pay with credit card. So 2 of all my coworkers went to get cash for us 3 when the security guard came to me while I was not even at the gate to tell me that I’m too intoxicated. Which was a lie because we just came from having dinner and couple pints from another place. That security guard that left his working place to tell me this also told me that I needed to eat a kebap from a near by place in front of him, first of all I don’t like kebaps and second of all I was full from the pizza I ate before. I think the problem for them is that I’m from Spain and I have an accent when I speak English. Once it was clear we couldn’t talk our way out I asked them for the complaint document, because wanted to make an official complaint but they told me they don’t have that. Then when I was in front of another place away from Xico, a guy with a high vis came to tell me to control my friends because they were complaining to the security guards. I don’t know what they expected for me to control since I was very “intoxicated”. Anyway, this place is 0/0, I’m not coming back and I’m making my Spanish friends aware of this place for treat us specially bad just for our accent
Disgusted to see Rachel, a good friends experience and to see her being blocked in social networks by this so called elite night club! I dont understand how hard it is for the club to apologize and take racial discrimination very SERIOUSLY! WILL NEVER GO BACK. "I had a work girls night out and we arrived in full spirits to XICO at 9pm and we were told it was reservations only until 11pm, which was totally fine as it was busy with the match and general busy with already made bookings. We went to SAMs bar on Dawson street but purposely left at 10:55 to start queuing into XICO. When we arrived the bouncer on the main door told us that we were to use the back entrance which was no issue. I realised I had no cash on me so I decided to go to the ATM and I told the girls to go in without me as I would follow. When I got back they were standing outside of the queue railings and they said that they were refused entry. They were told it was reservations only. They also said that it was fine as they been treated like this before as the party consisted of 2 Brazilians, one Algerian, and two Spanish. They said that a lot of clubs don't allow them in. I was not okay with this and I asked random girls in the queue if they all had reservations and they said no but they were all getting in. I asked the bouncer if he knew that he was letting girls in without reservations and he said well maybe they won't be getting in. I have been fortunate enough in the past that I hasn't experienced discrimination but it has really opened my eyes and I am totally disgusted. I really really am. I expect a prompt reply. And an explanation. This will not be the end of this and I'm certain social media won't be happy to hear of this blatant discrimination. STILL NO REPLY!
Been to Xico’s two other times prior to today and had an amazing time. This evening, I do not what happened but we were treated poorly. Reservation for 9pm, wasn’t seated at the table until 8mins past 9, no problem. We were waiting for a few others to arrive, no one approached us at the table to give menus or ask if we wanted a drink. It wasn’t until 9:43pm before menus were given and this is because I had to go ask the hostess for menus. I was told the kitchen is closing I had to point out we were not informed of this and was left sitting at a table for nearly 40mins. When we finally got the menus, it wasn’t even a full minute the waitress came to take our order (her name was Stephanie, Well that was the name on the receipt), we told her we need a minute, again, we were informed the kitchen was closing soon and she just stood there. We felt so pressured and uncomfortable. We ordered and she asked if we wanted water for the table, said yes and the water never arrived. I’ll summarize-drinks order were taken, 2 of our friends did not get their drinks order taken, another waitress said they couldn’t order. Food came out, we ate and not long until after the last bite was taken, the bill was brought, we had to pay and to top it off we had to leave the table as someone else booked it after us. WORST customer service EVER! Only 1 nice staff one of the guys in the white shirt. After today I can’t recommend Xico’s.
Very poor customer service, Me and my partner went here for drinks for his birthday, when we arrived we sat at a table with no reservation sign ,we got our drinks and within minutes we were told we had to move as the table was reserved. We moved to a different table where the air conditioning was very cold, and we noticed a couple moving from their table so we went to sit there, got another drink and again the same waitress came over and told us we would have to move as the area was reserved, again with no note on the table to state this. We asked her where we could sit as we had been moved twice and she said we could sit on one table but that it would be moved within a half hour for the dancefloor, with no apology or concern for paying customers who where planing on staying there for the night, the girl then walked away leaving us standing. Terrible customer service by very rude staff, will not be going again and would steer clear if concidering going here.
Nice enough space and decoration. However, it quickly rose to the top of my blacklist because of the quality of the food and the service that I have been offered. The menu suggests a creative and skillful chef working in the kitchen, but the food is simply unsatisfactory and poorly prepared. The meat that has accompanied my dish was so salty that was nearly impossible to eat, and after having raised the issue to the waiter, I have been brought the same dish with a different type of meat - this time impossible to eat because it has been drained in lemon. The waiter didn’t seem too concerned with the issue, and when we asked for the check, he made us wait good 15 minutes, even though the place was basically empty. Naturally, we have to pay for everything, and there was no attempt to “win” us over. I guess it is a nice enough place if want to get trashed, but if you are planning on having a meal, you will be better off with the döner kebab take away next door.
We were in Xicos for the first time yesterday for the goodbye of a friend who is going back to her country. She reserved for 15 people over the phone and they gave her the "Fiesta"-Package which she was told would include Finger-Food Party Platters for a price of 15€p.P.. Upon arrival we realized that we only got a higher seating table for around 8 people because its a "Fiesta" and apparently some guests are expected to stand around and not sit. The Booking was from 6-8 pm and the waitress came to us at 19:30 asking for a last round because she would need the table back at 19.55. However her colleague already started harassing us at 19:45 to get on our way and give the table back and gave our annoyed runts when we told him we would leave the table at 19:55. No location of food can make up for this treatment of a guest hence 1 star.
If you are someone who feel strongly against racism, would urge you to boycott this place. Extreme racism faced on an unusual quiet Friday night by the bouncers who wouldn't let three sober brown guys in citing that its a capacity issue even though the white guys had a free pas to enter without a reservation. We had four friends (girls) who were already inside, so it wasn't the case of three random guys trying to get into a club and creating ruccus. When confronted as to why the people after us are getting to go in while we are not. The bouncer very casually mentioned that because he knows them. Is that how a business works? You only let people in if you know them? Being an IT professional and a non-alcoholic, I don't see any other reason but racism for this kind of unusual behaviour which is very disheartening.
Pretty fun atmosphere with a couple of bars inside and plenty of space for dancing if desired. I don't smoke, but there is a protected rooftop area for smoking which I thought was a nice touch and haven't seen in a lot of places. I'd have given it a 3/4 stars, but there's a bartender that will have you waiting for 30 minutes for a drink (went to the other bar and waited a total of five minutes max). He made eye contact with me a couple of times and ignored me in favor of the two ladies who showed up on either side of me after I'd already been standing at the bar for ten. First time, I was cool with it, but the second was just an obvious snub which I pointed out and he ignored. Probably not what you want to go for when attempting to run a business, but that's just me.
If I could give 0 starts I would, right of refusal used as a cover for discrimination against race and nationality. Two black women and one Spanish woman refused entry, two black women for no reason and the Spanish due to the bouncers not understanding the speed at which she spoke. When I went to the door to speak to the women I was verbally abused and shouted at to leave. When I re-entered I was chased down the stairs because I gave a “dirty look” and “if I was to give someone a look like that I should speak to them outside”. I took my coat and left . I would not waste my money in Xico again and hope that anyone who has self respect also does not. Unacceptable discrimination.
Went for the Early Bird menu on a Friday night. We were going to be delayed on our way to the place so we decided to ring to see if it was okay to push our reservation forward. Eight calls later and there was no answer. Despite this, the place wasn't busy so we were able to be seated. The food itself is good and filling, with the enchiladas in particular being nice. The staff were friendly although were not very attentive and were often seen hanging around the bar talking to the bartenders. The staff's level of English is also not great and many things that did not involve the food on the menu or asking for the bill had to be further explained.
We had a booking in for a few months for a group of 17 people. The day before my friend told me she walked by and it was closed so advised I check. I called them and they said they’d phone back. I got a call 5 hours later to say they were indeed closed and they had forgotten to tell us. Obviously with a table of 17 this is an issue to find for a weekend without notice and they let us know less than 24 hours before. The young guy on the phone said “Yeah it’s not ideal is it? ♀️ ” No. It’s really not. Once I got off the phone I got an email to say the booking was cancelled by ME. Kinda a nightmare to deal with all round.
Awful customer service! I booked a table for my birthday, and it supposed to be from 9pm to 11pm. But at 10am they started to take the water glasses on the table, even that we are still drinking. Taking plates even that we are still eating. And before 10:30 they dropped the bill on the table, without a request. They were all time making us feel uncomfortable and in a rush. My reservation it was until 11pm, not 10 or half 10. If I knew that it was like that, I could book the table earlier. After I complained twice to the manager, she couldn’t be nicer with me, but the whole experience ruined my birthday party! It was awful!
I went to Xico with a group of 15 friends on Monday 14th March for drinks. The only members of our group not to be admitted by security were the only 3 non white/non Irish women. ‘Over intoxication’ was given as the reason for this, however this was completely unfounded as I had been with my friends all evening and was aware that they had only a small amount to drink before arriving at Xico. I also saw people much more intoxicated admitted entry before and after our friends. I am very disappointed to have witnessed racism/discrimination like this in Dublin and I will not be returning to Xico again.
Heard great reviews about Xico..but when arriving from London with 5 other people we were met by the bouncers, all smartly dressed polite but the response we got from the bouncers was need a table or book 7 days in advance. We called up and spoke to John who stated we didn't so went back a queued but still got the same response from bouncers. We came over for the weekend for a birthday and the rest of Dublin welcomed us with open arms but Xico was shocking all because of the bouncers thinking they owned the place. We also arrived super early 10pm.
Very disappointed. Went with a big group of 20 people. They gave us 2 tables (each table you can sit 6 people). We had to squeeze to get everyone sorted. There are no plates or cutlery. Makes a bit messy when you're served chicken wings. The food was tasteless and insufficient just like the tables. We left the place hungry. The salsa literally came out of a can of tomatoes and was put on the bowl with some herbs and salt. They brought 2 portions of each of the three snacks for each table. For 15 euro you're better off eating somewhere else.
Good place for drinks but the food is below mediocre. We ordered tapiopas, shrimp tacos, and ceviche with Mexican rice and beans. The ceviche was just unpalatable! It was not well balanced and it was extremely sour and salty. That was the sadly the highly recommended dish by their server. The Mexican rice and beans way not what I expected. It was just coloured rice with a couple of beans. The tapiopas which is chips with salsa, guac, and cheese dip was and the tacos were just all right. For drinks we ordered jalapawny which was nice.
The atmosphere and decor is good, there is an extensive bar, and they do a serviceable chilli, but some of the portions here - for the price - are comically small. I actually laughed out loud at how tiny the duck tosdadas were for €11. That, and our Americano came with sugar already in it! (which none of the waiters could explain, and they still charged us for after we complained; we surmised that either somebody in the kitchen was recycling coffee or a customer had put sugar on the milk and it was reused, it was very unusual).
I have never felt like this before! I have been there few times and never being treated as I was the past saturday. As me (Spanish) my friends from Brazil, Algeria, Venezuela, Irish and Californian we were treated with racist policy. We couldn't have fun as usual just because we were foreign and the security guard didn't let us come in while other people without no reservation as well as us were coming in without no problem. Definitely not acceptable what happened. Disgusted with the received treat.
Food was mediocre and came out about 2 minutes after ordering and you could tell it had been sitting under a hot light all evening waiting for someone to order it! The DJ was terrible it was rap music all night we ended up just leaving as we couldnt stick anymore of it. Music here used to be great but I wouldnt go back. The crowd was a mix of idiots feigning fun for instagram's benefit and pretty rough looking characters who were in after the Drake gig - my last visit to Xico I'm afraid!
Not the worst night, but it's definitely an adult version of coppers. The restaurant was nice, but had only one vegetarian option. it was a little over priced too for what we got (party of 10+). Cocktails weren't great either two mouthfuls and they were gone. After the restaurant closed it turned into a club which was too load and over populated by folks in there 30's falling around drunk. Not my idea of fun but hey if you're into that sort of things go for this place.
Restaurant - the food is great! Go on Monday and it's half price which is heaven including drinks. The cocktails are so good as well. Went on a Monday and the service was quite poor, took forever to order anything and drinks were forgotten. The waitress was so so lovely though, it looked more an understaffed problem. It can get too packed v quickly and bouncers are quite rude. I recommend going for food quite early as they turn on the music really loudly quite early.
Has a bit of an identity crisis. Trying to be a restaurant and a club at the same time. Unfortunately it did neither correctly. The overpriced food came out suspiciously quick and the dj played mashups that he bought in a charity shop for most of the night, and read the crowd about as well as my 5 year old can read his homework. The design and decor is fantastic, until you get to the toilets ( see attached ). Oh and how does a Mexican restaurant run out of wraps!!!!
Had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo dinner with my wife! First we were treated with complimentary Desperados beers, then we ordered 6 taquitos (2 crab, 2 rib, and 2 chicken) -- some of the best things I've ever eaten! Then, we ordered a plate of their Super Nachos. They definitely don't skimp with toppings! The chips were super high quality too. Delicious! And to top it off, we had some of the best frozen margaritas! On special for €5 each. We're definitely going back!
Absolute 5 stars, I booked only a few days before my birthday for 15 people. We got an amazing spot, everyone was so nice, the food was great, they stored our balloons when the DJ started blasting tunes etc. They put my birthday cake in the fridge and then at 12 helped us get it and got me a glass of Prosecco. Some of us also had food, it was really good! Thank you so much guys!!! I really appreciate it

Lovely Mexican restaurant. The main entrance omis in street level and you descend a stairs to a lovely subterranean world. The food was very good - the wings in particular were excellent. The drinks were also very good with a selection of Mexican beers and cocktails. Be warned however, if you are of limited mobility this is not a good place to go due to the several internal stairs required to get into the restaurant and to access the bathroom.
THIS IS NOT A LATIN BAR. NO LATIN MUSIC. I came here with a friend yesterday expecting latin music like salsa, reggaeton, etc. Unfortunately it was only techno. We kindly asked the dj to put some latin songs and he refused and threatened to call security on us. What is the point of coming to this bar if it doesn’t play latin music? At the end it didn’t stand out from any other bar here in Dublin and left me disappointed.
Still smelling a bit weird after years not going there, not sure why, but the smell still there. It's a space with a good number of tables and different ambients. The bar staff really quick and no problem at all. Recommended

The food here was really disappointing. Processed and had a stale ‘lunchbox taste’ off it like they have it in big tubs and heat it but. But Its a nice spot to go for a (quietist) drink in the early evening with friends. There’s little booths or high tables. I love their frozen margaritas and they’ve loads of craft beers in bottles cans. It turns into a pay in nightclub later in the evening which is really good
Having heard of a New Mexican in Dublin I checked out Xico's with my brother for a spot of food. To say the portions were minuscule is an understatement. Although quite tasty at €40+ euro for a few tapas dishes with no drinks I don't think I'd be returning here for food. That said I've heard the nightclub/late bar is quite busy so they must be doing something right!
As usual rude bartenders and terrible service, I got a table and I went to the bar at 7pm to get a pint, not even a cocktail, it was not busy and the bartender told me to ordering in my table, 40 min after I got my pint, not thinking to get back to this place not authentic Mexican place

The place has a very cool and interesting aesthetic, although you would never guess from just looking at it from outside. The food is pretty good with a good selection of drinks too. The music there after 10PM was really good. The only downside is that cocktails are €10 and other drinks are also really expensive (although it's normal nowadays).
If u book table u have to leave after 2hrs cause its busy. Food is OK-ish in comparison to other mexican places in Dublin. Everything is pre-made as u wait only 15mins before the tacos are out. This is not for romantic night out but for parties. Fun place for a work-do or birthday party....90's music though surrounded by mexican deco is weird.
Sort out your door staff. Large group of professionals refused entry as didn’t fit the door staff’s profile of clients. Door staff unnecessarily aggressive and were off on a power trip. Refused to show their security id despite multiple reasonable requests . A poor advertisement for the Dublin nightlife.will not return.
Delicious Mexican food. Great spot for an afternoon lunch with friends. In the evening it’s probably one of the best nightclubs in Dublin. Fantastic DJ that plays a mix of hip hop, rap, edm, pop. It can get very crowded especially in the smoking area. But the frozen margaritas and photo booth make for a fun night out
Awesome place, great drinks and food. The staff are amazingly friendly and were always up for a bit of craic. The music was really good too. Everyone working there seemed to actually enjoy working there which makes the atmosphere even better Go on Mondays, everything is half price, drinks, food, everything!
Randomers walking around pouring tequila into people’s mouths isn’t something you see in every venue. Dancing on the bars isn’t allowed anymore but the fun had to stop sometime. Have been here a number of times for nights out but only recently ate here. The food is actually fantastic. Definitely recommend
Food was good, we went in a slightly busy time consequently we were pushed toward leaving the table. There was a mistake with the order and they didn't charge for the error even though they left what wasn't ordered, they forgot an ice cream and as we complained they brought it and did not charged us.
Cosy little bar with amazing food. We went on half price Mondays and food and drinks were half price! After about 10.30 the music turns up and the bar turns into a tiny nightclub. Very busy but lots of fun if you're in to that. Some of the cocktails were nice but one we got was sour and undrinkable.
Absolute disaster. A group of 8 of us for a going away party. Sat there for an hour before anyone took our order. Every aspect of our order was wrong on multiple occasions. For Mexican food it was bland and cold. The drinks were the only upside and they were free because of the mess up on the order.
Hate this place. The staff/management let it get too wild and too drunk. My girlfriend had someone take a swing at her for no other reason that the other girl was way too drunk. Wild place don't go on the weekend. Unless of course you are as wrecked as everyone else - in that case enjoy the madness
This place is in the middle of two famous gardens in the city center, among to the other pubs, restarted and nights. The place could be good but was almost empty and the music is ok. Nice bar and theatrical bartenders ( he made our cocktails dancing and doing freestyle gestures) prices in averages
It's in a great location on Baggot st, and has a generous size smoking area upstairs, but I struggle to think of anything else positive to say about it. The doorman was unecessarily obnoxious, and the music drilled a hole in the head. The smoking area was a handy hangout to get away from it!
Really underwhelming. Went for the early bird menu. The soft shell tacos really lacked in flavour and my chilli bowl was just a big lump of poor quality beef thrown over really oily rice. No veg , no flavour , poor ingredients and a really expensive desperado to compensate on the food side.
What an amazing fun place! I went to visit my son (Brian!!!) in Dublin last month who is working at Xico. The people and management working there were so friendly and accommodating. Music was fun, and this momma closed it down! Haha! A definite place to visit to have fun while in Dublin.
Booked a ticket for tonight, to buy entrance at the door. Receive an email today notifying me of the cancellation of the ticket and the need to pre-purchase one. Email was received at 15:35. The pre-purchase tickets were fully sold out at least by 15:00. At least give us a chance like.
You gotta love this place. One of the coolest pub/bar/lounge whatever you want to call it. And it gets crazy fun as the night goes on. And yes you have the area to dance off the alcohol in you. Good snack to munch. Cocktails are a little expensive. Smoking zone upstairs helps.
Smells like a toilet when you walk in. Staff are friendly, if not a bit strange, but don't have a clue what they're doing. Average food, which came within 5 minutes of ordering so very unlikely to be freshly prepared. Plenty of far nicer places out there for food and drink.
Love it! Reliable, fun and great music! Smoking area is a bit horrible but it’s good in that it keeps people quick when smoking and return to the dance floor quickly. We paid €10 in which included a shot of choice at the bar. Love the food, drinks and music! Open late too
Great Margaritas and delicious chicken wings. The different tapas are all very good and the service is friendly and fast. Emily the hostest was brilliant with our group . She happily moved us to a different table after dinner so we could have a dance and enjoy the music .
My fav Mexican restaurant in Ireland. The food is top class, the tacos and tostados are to die for!! The staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Great drinks as well, some top class cocktails. I have been here several times and will be back many times more.
Surprisingly not a lot of mexican music Asked the DJ to put some on and nothing Kinda expected a mexican themed joint to have some latino rythm going on, got the same dublin bar experience as just any other night club. Not worth the pricey drinks without the spice
Nice, cosy place with great food and service. We got seated promptly, then the waiter corrected orders and the food arrived quickly. Drinks were good and beer cold. Music enjoyable and not annoying. We had a good time there and can honestly recommend to everyone.
A great location for having a party. The food is good and they have great cocktails. It seems that mainly Latinos in Dublin are going there. So expect to have a very strong percentage of Latinos there which is nice. At 11pm the restaurant becomes rather a club.
Mexican food and bar - the menu has a good range of choices but may be a little over priced. However, on Mondays all food and drink are half price which makes it great value with good craft beer options. Later in the evening it turns into more of a bar/club.
The staff is super rude, we were ignored the entire time, they told us they did not have tables and the place was completely empty! Food regular cocktails bad prepared, with dry old lemon wedges, bad service, I won't never go back, not recomendable.
Please mind that they don't serve food anymore! I went with my friends for dinner & drinks, but we found out this when we were already there & the service equally dissapointing. Although the music was very good, I think the DJ starts too late.
I happened upon this restaurant by chance and what a find! The decor is done very well, the food is great (can be quite hot!) and the frozen margaritas are fantastic, they come in quite a few flavours. There is also a tequila menu available.
This place has a wild west look that has everything but a proper Mexican menu. Disappointed to find mostly things like hot dogs and other strange concoctions marketed as Mexican. The only thing I liked was the chorizo taco. Not going back.
Great cocktails and cool decoration, but lacking for a Mexican restaurant 1- No burritos 2- No quesadillas in the menu 3- Salmon ceviche 4- Meat not properly salted 5- No not spicy options Good for snacking and a couple of drinks.
Friday night out with a friend. Bouncer and bar staff very friendly but not that busy so difficult to create an atmosphere.

The bar is really good and also have a good Mexican theme achieved. Regards to the food, are right if you compare it with the amount; but the ceviche had frozen salmon and was a bad experience. At least, the change the plate.
Great value dishes. Maybe to noisy for my taste. Overall good experience, the food maybe needs a bit more spice and a bit less micro coriander. If you're into hot spicy food ask for Salsa Fuego. Cocktails not impressed.
What a disappointment I've heard so much about this place bit the staff just let me down forgot my order and was left over an hour waiting. When I asked about my food was given a rude response by staff. DO NOT GO HERE.
Food is super good and plentiful, had to ask for a takeaway tray. Alcohol is very good, too. Staff is very friendly but leave you to eat I peace. Haven't been for the night life though but u hear only good things.
Looked nice inside, only in there for 2 minutes when my friends didn't get in(over 23s). Said this to the bouncer and he gave me the entrance price back without fuss. Nicest club experience I've had in 3 minutes.
Xico is a great place to hang out with your friends.. Serves good Mexican finger food..tastes amazing specially small portions of tacos.. Place turns into a night club after hours and has good selection of music.
Excelente lugar, los cócteles son mu buenos, los chicos de la barra siempre estan muy ocupado s pero son muy amigables. Los lunes tienen deals a mitad de precio y la comida no esta nada mal. 100% recomendable.
Great Margaritas and superb chicken wings. The different tapas are all very good and the service is friendly and fast. Can be quite expensive if you tend to eat a lot. Nice atmosphere with plenty of space.
Tasty (if small) hotdogs and the best sweet potato fries I've had in Dublin. Good atmosphere, but too dark to see the menu! Handy for the train and only a short walk from Grafton St. I'll be back for sure!
Friendly staff, good food, very cool decor&vibes. Fantastic margaritas!! Started as a bar/restaurant and slowly transformed into a club - very well done! The only bad thing about the night was the DJ...
Tasty cocktails, funky decor and great tunes later in the night. During the day they serve amazing Mexican food. Would recommend for a group booking or a couple. Lots of space to dance and cosy corners.
Visited on our first night for dinner and the food was outstanding. Tried almost everything we could and had seconds. Nothing left on the table. Very good food. Didn't stay for the nightlife though.
Really cool venue with outstanding food (I got the burrito bowl). Looks like the bartenders really work hard to perfect the cocktails. For a Friday night it looked to attract a younger crowd.
Fun spot for a night out but its fairly crowded pretty early so get there by 11pm on weekend nights to make sure you get in! Tip: They have frozen margaritas in a slushie machine TRY THEM!!
This place is great! It is one of the best places to go on a night out and really great for dancing...It is really fun but get there early as there is always a que!and it is always crowded!
Lovely Mexican bar in the heart of Dublin their cocktails are super tasty and the food is excellent too

its cheap on a Monday, overrated though. After seeing what goes on at night i wont be eating in it during the day. The smoking area is illegal too, just an extractor fan on the top floor.
Good spot but very busy and fairly packed on a Friday and Saturday night go early is my advice. Got served no problem at all great staff doing a fantastic job under pressure.
The staff are amazing and the tacos are great. Best part has to be the drinks. The Bulldog is so nice. Monday’s are half price drinks and tacos are on promotion on Tuesdays.
Went here on a Friday night and the music wasn't good... dance floor was completely empty. Hope they sort out the music by getting a decent dj as everything else was fine
Was here on a Monday night and the place was hopping, great food and brilliant drinks specials. If you still have energy after the weekend this is the place to go. …
One of the nicest places in Dublin for Mexican food. An 'underground' location but a gem in Dublin. From the fabulous decorations, great food and super tasty cocktails.
My friend got his drink spiked with something.... Was good craic but he did end up in the hospital afterwards, which was a bit of a downer. Other than that great craic
Value drinks midweek. Nothing special otherwise. Overcrowded, cloak room was full by the time we arrived and my coat was stolen when staff moved lots of tables around.
Nice place where to eat. Nachos with beef are very tasty. Margaritas are cool and nice. Mexican food is good.

Food is very tasty. Staff is uber busy but always cool. Overall I always had fun at Xico and is definitely a nice place to hangout/dance before hitting the clubs.
One of the best late bars in Dublin. This place is awesome, there's good music, drinks, food, nice people. And I need to talk about the staff, they are the best!
Wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it but the music was great, food was good and they have a smoking area upstairs. Staff are good, service was quick for a Saturday night
Brilliant Fantastic food and drink. Monday night is half price night. The staff are really attentive and pleasant the atmosphere was really casual and relaxing.
It was too full to dance or even move. It took us 6 minutes to get to the bar and another 10 to get served. 2nd star because you can deny the music was great.
Was half full at 22.00 but filled up by 23.30. Good music but not really spanish. Overall enjoyed it very much and they had some very cool deals on alcohol.
Not really a good place for eating, customer service very bad and food disappointing. Although they have cool cocktails, and the half price promo on Mondays
There were a lot of beautiful people, service is quite good as well, just be careful at the entrance, they might bar you if you don't have a table reserved
Lovely place great music , but definitely too many people underage, gets very messy.

Really great margaritas however its a very small place which makes it very cramped once it gets late. Would not return for the nightclub element again.
€10 each entry Arrived at 11pm and place empty Make sure to ask for standard offers and don't arrive before midnight (if possible later or not at all)
Love the tacos mix and the atmosphere during the weekday nights: quiet and nice. From Thursday on, it's a great club with cool people and nice music.
