We went with a 4 year old toddler, a newborn, and my elderly parents on a weekday at noon. I went in with very low expectations because many users commented how small it was. However, because it was not crowded at all, it was the perfect size for our toddler and my parents. I appreciated the immersive design that is easy for kids and adults to view the exhibits. The theme music composed by Joe Hisaishi (famous for his music compositions in Studio Ghibili animations) set the right mood to soak in the beauty and magic of marine life. I felt the aquarium was well curated for its size, and especially enjoyed the mirrored jellyfish room. Another playful design is that there is a transparent H-shaped tube in the dining area where the occasional penguin swims through. We took our time to walk and sit throughout the experience, and finished in about 2.5-3 hours, including a solid 30+ minutes of our toddler drawing on a digital tablet, and another 30+ minutes dining. For us, it was the perfect amount of walking and viewing given everyone’s limited attention span and/or energy level. I’d recommend it only if you can come during non-peak hours, especially if you want to hear the theme music (which I feel is unique to this aquarium). You can also make a day out of it by visiting the Gloria Outlet mall, which is literally a carbon copy of large outdoor American outlet malls. They have a good selection of food options as well. Btw. The walk from the high speed rail station to X Park is under 10 minutes. Most of it is covered in case is rains.

Words can not describe this amazing experience. It is not too big so that it tires you out its not too small so that you feel you wished for more. It is an incredible immersive and interactive experience. It is ideal for children, families, the in-laws, and in my case a wonderful date. Location wise it is very easy to access and i recommend High Speed Train (i live in Yuanlin) or MRT. Perfectly located near the station and outlet mall which enriched my experience. The varieties of food in the surrounding mall is just perfect and enhanced my experience. The exibits and show was incredible and it is very hard to choose my favourite part of the park. The penguin tube tanks in the restaurant is an incredible touch and got me into a lot of trouble with my date as i stared at the tank longer than at her #sorrynotsorry. Disclaimer: i will not post any pictures of specific fish, i will let you be surprised. I can not wait for them to bring out their year pass.

This place is kids friendly environment where kids will learn while enjoying themselves. The aquarium viewing gallery is not as huge as S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore. My family love the jellyfish section where there are tubes of jellyfishes with ray of lights and the reflection from the mirrors that makes it so beautiful ❤️❤️ The other ones is the close view of the penguins! When we were there, it was their feeding time and could see the penguins are picky of their foods too There is an area where kids and adults could decorate their dishes and send the masterpiece to the main screen that will appear in the digital sea. It's pretty fun! Adult ticket is NT$600, Student ticket is NT$430, Children and Senior or pregnancy lady or disability is NT$270. It is located inside the building opposite Gloria Outlets (towards Landmark Plaza).

beyond my expectation. i thought it's just an ordinary sea-aquarium-exhibition, i was amazed just by the first step i get into. I visited on weekday, so not many people there and i can enjoy each tank/aquarium/fish slowly. This place is full of air-con, clean, and not allowed to bring drinks. but they also have several cafe and vending machine inside. - Overall i'm very satisfied with this experience. after walk for a while, luckily i got in time to watch the sea lion and bird show. Not only that, they also have capybara, binturong, and goats - i need around 2 hours to enjoy all, included animal show. it's very suitable for kids, teens, adult, even elderly. - Notes: Some of the spot will be colder than other such as penguin & spotted seal.

The park was great in many ways! The ticket price was from 300-500 ntd which was pretty cheap considering that the park was clean and very enjoyable. There was a area which teaches you to not litter because the ocean animals are going to die out of suffocation. There is also a part where the was a amazingly huge tank where schools of fish lives while sharks and stingrays swim around them. There was a room full of jelly fishes with mirrors all around to make it seem like a big room. After you finish with the aquarium, there is a cafe with tubes running through the center where you can eat while looking at penguins swimming. There is also an outlet beside it to do some shopping. Overall, Xpark is such an amazing place for family to spend there vacation time.

Xpark Aquarium stands out as one of the world's best. The educational and interesting descriptions enhance the overall experience. The behind-the-scenes tour, priced at TWD 150, is a must-do, providing a comprehensive view of the aquarium. Our guide, 戴業燊, was not only knowledgeable and funny but also made the journey memorable. His enthusiasm was palpable, and despite his young age, he expertly answered all questions. Spending a day at Xpark was truly delightful, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

Finally decided to visit XPark after hearing about this place for some time. Nice to bring kids along as some of these aquatic creatures are pretty cool. We did not wait for the dolphin or seal show so couldn't share that experience. The food and drinks within XPark are pretty mid to high end. Although we were not able to try everything, the quality is worth it. We went to XPark as part of our visiting Gloria Outlets, which you will pass through to get to XPark if you travel in by MRT. If you have a T-Pass then your entire MRT trip is inclusive (no additional transportation costs). Gloria Outlets is a different place in itself so will discuss that in the thread intended for that.

Nice aquarium to visit, but as a tourist, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here unless I happen to be in the area. There is a nice big aquarium display with manta rays and sharks on the first floor, but I find the rest of the aquarium displays a bit small which is not ideal for very small kids in the middle of a big crowd. At the third floor, you will find a nice interactive area where kids can enjoy a digital display of colorful sea animals, and create their own via the tablets available. We spent a good time here and in front of the big aquarium display. Otherwise, the café is also unique as it has a display of penguins right in the middle. You can combine the visit with a trip to the Outlet stores nearby.

X park, - overrated place but still fun to watch and spend an evening with your loved ones. Very small ocean based park with a very few species of fishes and sea animals. Their best part is the healing jelly fish exhibit with lights changing every few minutes. Next best part is their open gallery with a big view of their attractive glass show (Formosa exhibit- 400 species) where there a lot of sea animals present. Next is the penguin museum which was also kind of attractive, but the little ones were so lazy at thr time we went.. hehe, a fun place to go with kids and little ones to show them the aquarium and teach them about the sea life. the aquarium wasn't as big as i thought- but it was still plenty adequate and had real variety (as pictured!)- it's better to go early to avoid the crowd that starts to seep in around noon. the crowd around 11am was decently manageable and you get to view most exhibits up close without much fuss as well as get to different areas without human jam too!! the aquarium also had a really futuristic design to it, and included AR into some of their exhibits (if that interests anyone). all in all, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy staring at marine life.

This aquarium may be small, but it's packed with modern technology and a futuristic vibe. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of marine life, interacting with the creatures and feeling at peace. The ticket price is very reasonable. The "Jellyfish Odyssey" exhibit is the most popular area of Xpark, and a favorite photo spot for Instagrammers. In the cylindrical tank, visitors can observe various species of jellyfish, and the changing lights and background music create a dreamy and enchanting healing space. It's definitely worth taking a moment to stop and appreciate the beauty of this exhibit.

Amazing experience at Xpark in Taoyuan. Beautiful medium sized aquarium inside of an outlet. Was able to get a ticket easily online / in person. I do recommend getting a ticket online so you can just go straight in without a line lol. The aquarium was packed with different species of animals and insects. The most amazing experience was when you come face to face with this giant wall of sea creatures. Perfect date spot or solo tbh. You won’t regret it! Bonus points if you decides to eat at the outlet, lots of variety to choose from!

Went here on June 6, 2022. Buy the ticket for this park from KKDay app. The park not only displays information about creatures there, but a lot of information such where are their original habitats, latin names, and many more. There are spaces for sea cratures fossils too, but it's only small space, not as many as another creature display. There are elevator inside, so no need to worry if you bring kids here or people who needs wheelchair. Pay attention that when taking pictures or video it's prohibited to use flash since it will make the creatures uncomfortable.

For an aquarium situated inside a shopping mall, this place exceeds my expectation in many ways. Admission fee is worth it for the amount of things you get to see and do. Cafe food is surprisingly decent and all cooked to order, not from a microwavable bag. All the kids there seem to be enjoying themselves, I would recommend to kids of all ages. Also went on a week day, which was not very busy, and that probably enhanced the experience by a lot. I expect the place to be packed on the weekends and would advise against going then if possible.

Great park showcasing some amazing sea life and other animals. The presentations are incredible and hugely educational. A great place for a day out and brilliant for families. The location is busier in the afternoon and parking can be a challenge but fortunately there’s lots of street parking and other car park options nearby. The building houses a hotel and several restaurants too making it a great place for a day out. Highly worth visiting but suggest getting tickets in advance.

A very well designed 3 storey aquarium with well planned route featuring a 10 m aquarium with regular intervals of marine performance and feeding. Tickets can be bought online, but please do remember to make your reservation for the time slot to enter especially during the weekend. Highly recommended to visit once and they have an outdoor pool for you to touch the marine animals, subjected to weather and time slots!! Also, they have a cafe that allows you to view penguins swimming around in transparent water tubes!!

It’s a nice facility for family trip or dating. The route is ok. It will lead you to every display. Of course, you can design your own to avoid crowds. I went there on the weekday. There are certain amount of people there already. Sometimes traffic happens in certain popular scene. So, do your research before going and improvise according to the traffic. I can’t imagine how crowded is gonna be on the weekend. The venue is clean and kids friendly. In general, you can spend 1-2 hours for the tour without meal time.

Beautifully designed aquarium, fascinating for both the animals and the experience. As others have mentioned it is rather pricey, but it's a unique experience: more memorable than other aquariums I've visited. The cafe is cute, fun penguin theme. We spent about two hours here which felt adequate. Weather was poor so we didn't stay for an outdoor show, but weekday and poor weather meant it wasn't crowded, which really helped the experience. We did not buy tickets in advance. Kid-friendly.

Probably one of the best places I have visited in Taiwan! There are a lot of animals (not only fish!) you can see over there, like capybara, goat, seals, etc. The jellyfish were so insane and there is a big tube where penguins occasionally go through inside the Xpark cafe which serves tasty food as well. There is a souvenir shop inside too after u exit the exhibition. Love love this place The entry was around 600nt but so worth it!!

Xpark showcases water and marine wildlife from different regions of the world such as South America, Taiwan and the Pacific. They also have an area for penguins and seals. There are also some birds and a lot of jellyfish. There is a sealion show at eleven AM, one thirty PM and some other times. The explanations are in Chinese and some English is shown for names and scientific names. It's a good way to show kids what the different wildlife around them are.

A bit pricey but you can spend the whole day here. The Cafe was decent and if you go right when it opens it won’t be as busy! Look out for the shows outside (sea lion and parrot) and the demonstrations inside (fish feed, Tuscan feed etc). Water stations are everywhere so bring your water bottle! The guided tour is nice as they take you outside to actually look at creatures! You can also get the Japanese experience too but it’s not for me.

I think it will be less crowded if you come early (idk), but for level 2, this is a bit crowded. The digital interactive section is closed. My favorite spot was on jellyfish tanks and the penguins. (A bit cold here for me, thank God I bring jackets for my daughters) I wish I can visit again to explore the jungle walks. The food on the cafe was good (I don’t recommend the soda ice cream because it 80% filled with ice cube ).

Came here during the summer and the crowd was good. Not too many which was easy for us to navigate around. Overall was a good experience but I get that should have more to showcase as within 1.5-2 hours you will be done. So not too great on CP. We liked the arrangement of the cafe where you can see penguins swimming around and the food was really good. Might not visit here often. Maybe when we really need to see a seal!

We visit Xpark every year if we are in Taiwan, it was an excellent aquarium when it first opened, but now even just after a few years it started to show its age in terms of maintenance and upkeep. They take great care of the animals but I wish they would do the same for the facility itself. It’s not bad but it last lost some of its original charm when it first opened.

Nice little aquarium to visit in Taoyuan (桃園). Highly recommend ordering tickets online before you go or you will wait in line for a while. Xpark is connected to an area with lots of eating choices. Parking is difficult at the recommended site. Highly recommend parking at the Gloria Outlet Mall and walk across the air bridge.

Nice aquarium! Sea animals there look tide and neat. Tourists can watch penguins and seals in short distance. Kids can paint a picture on the pad and project the picture on the wall. Kids love that. This place has a restaurant and gift shop. Very cool place during summer time. Strong AC. A nice and chill spot during summer time. Though it could be very crowded.

First time to visit xpark, at first after buying the ticket i think its pricey but after we enter and after roaming around i think its worth it, why???it's high cost maintaining the facility plus the do research i think. And the maintain the place clean and neat even the outdoor. So its really good in here.

This aquarium features many different species, ocean fishes and corals, Amazonian forest and rivers, freshwater species. The jelly fish room is amazing. The penguins and seals are so cute. There's a water dispenser on the cafe floor. We're so dehydrated by the time we got there. bring a bottle of water with you.

Located at Taoyuan and near the airport. Nice sea aquarium located within a shopping mall. Lotsa other sea animals beside fishes including penguins and seal lions. Great experience for the kids. It’s not very big and can finish the tour in an hour And a half.

The ticket fee is acceptable price for 3rd floor aquarium. The place is very clear, very organized and also easy to go there as well. I took THSR from Taibei to Taoyuan station and few walk around 25 mins, then arrived!~ there are many animal shows but the show time is quite short, however, I enjoyed it!

It's larger than expected, and there's a outdoor segment for shows and exhibits. Personally feel that it's worth it for the price and it is conveniently located within a mall with many food selections. Definitely enjoyable for children and adults alike.

Fun for the kids. It gets a bit crowded but the large design of the tanks allow you to view the sea creatures from further away. We probably won't visit again because it felt small compared other aquariums overseas. On the other hand we would take friends who are visiting Taiwan here.

Very entertaining indoor aquarium. Close to Airport subway station as well as high speed rail station. A bit crowded in the opening period, but the facilities are not bad. Great place to bring children there. Online reservation is required. No box office service at counter.

very nice to have indoor aquarium, only few part has big fish tanks, most are small tank with few fish and sea animals. but good to see sea lion show. would be better it's like the name X park, bigger! And more different kind of fish …...

I didn't like the fact that there was no staff along the way and there was people banging the glass of the animals and disturbing everybody. No one was there to keep the order of the place.

new aquarium at taoyuon next to famous gloria outlets. display are quite good. you can spend 2 hours there fairly easily. it might not be as good as kai yu kang at osaka but definitely worth a visit if you are travelling to taipei/taiwan.

A great place for families to relieve stress on the weekend. The place for the outdoor show is too small, but it’s still worth a look. The aquarium is just next to the outlet mall and high speed rail station, super convenient to visit!

A very must visit if you have children. Important information : Preorder tickets are only available on KKday Website. If preorder tickets are not sold out, there are going to have limited number of tickets at the ticket counter.

Recommended buying tickets online to avoid the queue. The station where kids can do digital coloring was engaging! Not a very big aquarium but got good variety of marine species.

I went there on Monday and it was so empty that I was able to enjoy it a lot. My favorite part was the Jellyfishes, there is a room where you can see how they grow along the days, weeks and months. It's very interesting.

It's one of the best aquariums in Taiwan and I'm impressed to see the happy fish and seabirds here. They do a great job of taking care of the animals. We enjoyed every second spent there.
