Westjet Left us High and Dry over Christmas. The airport authority needs to take some ownership as Westjet is their tennant. Promised Compensation when we went to the Westjet DESK in YYC, ( huge ) and then denied it. ( as our flight connection from Westjet Vacations Cancelled ) I have the sheet that promised compensation. This is unethical to promise compensation for stranded passengers then deny it. They had to bring out a manager at one point in time who had to do crowd control. If my tennant was doing shady deals I would want the customers to tell me. Hope you can ask them about their shortcomings and help resolve this matter. Makes me not want to use YYC / Wesjet. While i love the YYC airport I cannot rank them high. Continually they have the worst baggage handling in the world. When you are standing in a foreign airport and people are talking about how bad the it is you feel embarrassed as a Calgarian. From the moment we landed and cleared customs it was over an hour. I could drive home and back faster. Something to work on.

The airport is good, cell phone lot parking free of charge. On the other hand, parking is expensive inside the parkade.

One of the coolest and futuristic airports ive been in.
