So I had my birthday on the 14th of October and I chose Ibadan for my birthday vacation. The train was recommended as a better means of transportation to Ibadan and I have few things to say about the experience. Firstly, the infrastructure is great, nice ambiance and a nice place to park your cars while you either drop someone off or pick someone at the station. Secondly, the queue management needs to be worked on, the queue was so long and extended outside. No air condition outside and a whole lost of us were sweating. The fare is quite reasonable as I paid 4000 naira for business class, while the standard is 2500 naira and first class is 6000 naira only. Just as the airport, there are no waiting area till you are done buying your tickets, checked and showed the way to the waiting area. The train leave Monday to Friday 8am. The setting of each coach was okay, functioning ACs , nice music at the background as well as Tv. Security seem good as there was presence of MOPOL patrolling all couches

RED LINE RAIL: That Canopy-Like structure is the Yaba Bus Station is linked to the Yaba Train Station for the Red Line Rail, the markets on the rail will be totally cleared off and a very large pedestrian area will be created. The Yaba Flyover has taken its shape, there will be a walkway linking the existing Bus Station directly to the Train Station, From Train ➡️ Bus, From Bus ➡️ Train. From Jibowu , you can take the flyover into Ojuelegba road and vice versa, You can also drive from Tejuoso to link Muritala Muhammed way easily thru the flyover. This will reduce Train/Vehicular interaction, thereby reduce accidents too. LAGOS is moving ahead ✅✅

We're just hoping the state government will reopen this place as promised. Too many constructions elsewhere which creates doubt as to whether it'll come to reality or not. The passing by of trains doesn't stop anyway as the market sellers and hustlers on the rail lines have been pursued because The Tejuoso market has been modernized but too expensive for most people anyway.

My first train station and loved it. Totally loved it; the staff are doing an incredible job maintaining it and managing it. They kept to time and properly informed travellers regularly with announcements and reminders. The coordination is great and I hope they keep up the excellent work that's been done here for the foreseeable future. Totally recommend

Lovely to see the new train from lagos to ibadan operational. It took 2 hours 30 minutes to arrive in ibadan (moniya). It wasnt as stressful getting from Moniya to iwo Road as there are cab men just outside the station ready to take you to iwo Road for 500 ngn. I liked the orderly manner in which the boarding was done.

I want to suggest that bookings online be made easy, visible and simple on like other train stations in other countries and please be much more organized. And please you need to put up a contact we can be able to reach for enquiries. I wrote to the email being provided last week and till now i haven't seen a reply.

One of the historic railway lines in Nigeria. Although it has lost its glory and major usefulness, the facility still dot the landscape with minute services offerred. There's plan to revitalized the railway system.

There are a great number of tailors here mass producing great clothes at bargain prices. The gate is opposite NTA 10 at Tejuosho
