I'm glad others had a positive experience with Yaletown Accounting. Ours was completely the opposite. YA agreed to do my mother's taxes (she is in long term care) and they held her files for close to two months. Initially they assured me the work was either done or was about to be filed. But as the weeks went by they either did not respond to my phone or email messages, or repeated the same assurance that the filing was imminent. In the end I had to cut our losses and move the work to a legitimate accounting firm - and the work was completed promptly. However the late filing resulted in my mother having to pay over $1000 in charges to the CRA. We believe it's important to share our unfortunate experience to potential customers of YA.

Yaletown Accounting is phenomenal! Fatima and her team provide great customer service, prompt responses to questions and are reasonably priced for filing taxes. Highly recommended! Even unique employment/earning situations (self-employed, US income) or requests to file after the recommended April 30 deadline are handled seamlessly. After filing now for the past 4 years, I know I’m in good hands each year, even when strikes potentially delay our refunds! The YA Team is trustworthy, reliable and overall great to work with. Yaletown Accounting assisted with obtaining my US tax refund. The whole process was handled efficiently and without any problems encountered. Everything is handled digitally through emails, forms and documents so it's great if you don't have time to go to an office in person.
