I contacted the company at 9:14pm for a 7 mins trip. I had to be at the airport by 10:40pm. They said they would be 20 minutes. I called after 30 mins went by no answer. I figure they was probably finishing up a trip. After an hour, I called again and he stated he was 5-7 mins away. I got all my bags, checked out and waited outside. After waiting outside for 20 extra minutes. He told me to resend the address to his other phone, and that he’s down the street headed towards me. Now at 10:30pm I am about to miss my flight. Trying to get another taxi in such short notice. The reason I didn’t call another taxi company earlier is because i respect small businesses and didn’t want him to waste gas coming to me and I was already gone with someone else.. I’ve literally lost all respect for this company, you could’ve simply told me you couldn’t make it. Me trying to respect your business and not waste your gas on a blind trip has ended in me having to reschedule my flight and pay for another day here. This company is a disgrace. I’m actually wondering do they have business licenses by the way it’s ran.
This was the absolute worst cab ride I have ever experienced. When I called I was told 10 -15 minutes. We waited just over an hour. When the cab did finally arrive it was RAPID CAB. The meter was already past $3 before we even pulled out of the parking lot. The driver constantly sped almost uncontrollably. Between 70 and 75 in a 45MPH zone. On more than one occasion he slammed on the brakes hard enough to lock the seatbelts. Twice he purposely missed turns or took earlier turns to run up the meter. I drive semi and by the end of the 11 mile $44.75 trip I was actually car sick. These are the drivers and the companies that are reason why things like UBER and LYFT are doing so well. I will not make this mistake again.
Would have missed my flight if it were up to them. I had a reservation and hadn't received any sort of confirmation nor did the taxi show on time or early. I called at the time of the reservation just to make sure they were arriving and they honestly sounded surprised that I had a reservation. Then told me they've been trying to call me and that's why they weren't there, but I have zero missed calls and they took my phone number from my caller ID when I made the reservation. They wanted me to wait 15 minutes for them to get there, which means I'd miss my train and my flight. Had to find service elsewhere and made it to my train. Really wish I'd looked at the reviews on this one.
We called a day ahead to ask if they had vans equipped to carry a scooter. They assured us they did and that all we needed to do was call when we landed in Atlanta. I called and was told they did not have accessible vans, but would send a Jeep and fold up the scooter. Each time I talked to him (about 6 times) he told me he was on his way and would be there in 15, 10, or 1 minute. I waited 50 minutes. 10 min after he had told me to go into the cold as he would be there in 1 minute, I told him I was hiring another company, one who was truthful and honest, not Yellow Cab.
We were hit by a yellow cab in Atlanta, November of 2015, because the driver was texting and driving. Yet they take no responsibility because he is a "contractor". Funny, he was driving one of their cabs. Now I get to spend every day in pain because they chose to hire someone so reckless and irresponsible. So please, call someone else; because if they hurt you, they are not responsible, nor do they care that their employees hurt people. Honestly, they deserve less than zero stars.
I scheduled a pickup for my early morning flight about 3 days ahead of time. On the day of, I waited until they were 15 minutes late from the scheduled time and called to ask when the driver would arrive. They had completely lost my scheduled pickup and weren't even going to send a taxi anyway. Hugely unprofessional company. I would strongly encourage you to find a different taxi service. I ended up using an Uber and did actually get to my flight on time. No thanks to Yellow Cab.
I phoned this company last night after midnight to call a cab for my elderly mother who was traveling to Florida and missed her flight. The person who answered the phone was an unbelievable relief!! He picked up my mother, called me to let me know that he picked her up, and drove her to the hotel. You have no idea how much his thoughtfulness meant to us. He took care of our mother like his own. Thank you for such incredible service!!!!
I booked this company thinking it was a legitimate cab company, however they did not pick me up at the cab pickup location at the airport. Instead I had to go to the area of the airport where passengers get picked up by their families. The vehicle I was picked up in was the driver's personal vehicle it had no meter and they overcharged me for my trip to the hotel from the airport. I do not recommend.
No app like taxis in other cities so there is no easy way to schedule or track your taxi. Scheduled a 4:15am pick-up at my hotel with dispatch 18 hours in advance. I was told it was scheduled and the driver would call me at 4am letting me know he was on the way. I received no phone call and after calling finally secured another driver. The original driver never contacted me. Poor service
THEY PROMISED TO PICK ME AND THEN GHOSTED ME!!!! I called them to get a cab ride. The guy over the phone said "We'll be there in 15 min" i asked them to let me know when they arrive. I haven't received a call and it has been over 2 hours. They refuse to answer my calls. I waited at the location for almost 30 min.
Taxi cab 0616 is lying straight to my face telling me it's now $78 to go from atl Airport to sandy springs. Started to drive and is now refusing to use the meter. I've done this route almost weekly this year and it's generally not a dollar past $58. Absolute fraudulent company. Will be disputing this charge.
They need more workers that will available to work. They should be standing strong since they were in business before Lyft and Uber. They always looking or waiting on a driver in the area. SAD, SAD , BUSINESS. YALL MIGHT NEED TO WIRK FOR LYFT OR UBER OR JUST LET IT GO ALL TOGETHER …
Our driver was efficient and friendly. We were however charged more than the advertised fee for Midtown to Airport. It was also difficult to pay by credit card as he had to call it in to the office. I’d recommend using a different service
Lying dispatcher told me 15 mins and I waited over 2 hours I shouldn’t have even given them a courtesy call to cancel but I did and let them know how much of an huge inconvenience it was. They definitely suck!! Call another taxi.
I called for a ride from Publix @ Ansley Mall to go home in Buckhead. No one ever showed up or returned my call. Very terrible service. That's why the taxi industry is hanging by a thread in Atlanta. I will never call again.
Driver was professional and timely, the car was clean. Picked me up after a late flght and got me home safely. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 is the age of the car that picked me up. I would use them again.
The driver did not know the area at all. When taking our family to a location became lost. The time set to be picked up the driver was over an hour and a half late we had to call a different company.
Don’t even bother calling. They either will just say they’re not coming or say they are then never show up. This company is the perfect example of why Lyft and Uber have done as well as they have.
I was picked up in a regular car with no meter first the driver quoted me 20 bucks I said that's too much I was going 5 minutes away then he said how about 15
I called and they weren't able to send a cab around. Perhaps they are short drivers. I do understand that. However, it's unclear if that was the case.
2 days in a row they told me they were on the way and never came and just stopped answering the phone do not use this service !
The dispatch was very nice. The driver was great also. They had no problem taking me somewhere an hour away. Highly recommend.
