THE WORST TAX EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! After being given a huge bill to pay I couldn't sleep at night. Added up my figures again to realise that these guys got it all wrong. I don't even know where he pulled the numbers from. I went back in to their office and added up my numbers with the lady on reception who got the same figure as me. I then had to withdraw my tax statement and resubmit. The guy upstairs added things up again and got another totally random figure!! I had to add it up on a calculator in front of him. He then changed my submission and said it was me who gave the wrong figures... I've now been waiting for 3 months to receive my new tax bill and the government is taking money out of my bank account. WORST ACCOUNTANT EVER ** edit** and now in your response you are sharing my confidential information??? Yes the figures were supplied by me and given to you. I paid you $300 to look at my numbers and YOU typed in the wrong information. Also... I am looking at my bank account now and can see tax being deducted.. Not sure what else to say.

For over 30 years my tax returns were done by a highly qualified, close relative of mine. Then he retired. I tried another accountant, recommended by a friend, for 4 years but felt un-welcome, insignificant and, worse, caught them out on some significant mistakes.
