This is one among the many railway stations in Bangalore which comes under South Western Railway. I used to visit here to catch the train on the way back home to Kerala. This station is better connected by the Green Line of the Bangalore metro and hence the commutation from the rest of the city is easier. The railway station entry is only a few footsteps away from the metro station. Apart from conventional train-related services, the station hosts dormitories and rooms for commuters at a reasonable cost. The station badly requires a good restaurant or food court. Though it has a food court and a veg restaurant, they are not up to the mark with the options and quality of food served.

As of 27 Nov platform 1 exit is closed . One can exit through platform 6. It's also has a adjacent metro railway station where people can travel across Bangalore. Maintenance is good and hygenic. It has also have books shop of gita press and Vivekananda book store available but it's was closed. Overall a good railway station!!

This is one of the important junction in Bengaluru! One side of the junction will be connected to BMTC busstand (Platform number 1) side I guess and other side of the junction (Platform number 6) will be connected to Metro Green line. Unfortunately platform number 1 side exit is closed temporarily due to construction it seems. Because of this closure, one have to exit from the metro side and walk around the junction to reach the other side to get to BMTC busstand, which is really annoying to all passengers! Junction is well maintained and clean.

Well organized railway station. Anyone can easily reach this railway station via metro. The metro works till 11 PM. The metro station and railway station are very well organized and connected. The entrance towards the Bengaluru Metro Yeshwantpur Station leads to platform number 6 which is the last platform. There are several good food options available here on platform number 6. The local people are very helpful. Beware of some of the greedy auto rikshaw and cab drivers. However, most of them are good.

Station is very well maintained and timely cleaned if it's not for these northies it would've been much more clean it's panparag and gutka marks everywhere these idiot's spit everywhere and don't maintain hygiene at all but it's clean now and since there are guards walking around the place is nice. Has 6 platforms and wheelchair accessible platforms parking washrooms for specially abled people water is available foods free wifi is available in station, food is also available great place

Worst cleanliness... Everywhere bad smell in platform. Fans are also not working at platforms, where more people are waiting for delayed trains. But fans are working ok in some platforms where no people r there.... AC waiting hall is highly charging money, even if we have ac ticket n train is more than 2hrs late. Battery vehicles are charging huge ampunt to transfer old senior people with luggage. No lift or escalator working too.... Govt. should keep track of these disturbances...

I visited this railway station after it's renovation. The entrance looks great. But inside some basics need to improve like water management, water dropping on seats in PF 1-5, WIFI issues in PF 1-5 etc. Give emphasis on cleanliness and Stray dogs roam freely inside Railway station which is a concerning issue. Railway department need to work on these issues. People can use JanAhara outlet or restaurant available in the station for food apart from IRCTC food outlet. These are good.

Station is very well maintained and clean compared to what it was 10 years back. Platform 1 and 2 have escalators, 3-6 have rolling connectors and stairs. Platform 6 is located closest to Yeshwanthpur Metro station. Travel accordingly. You have paid parking available for private cars on both the sides of the station. I would recommend using metro if your train starts from platform 5-6. Here are few photos for you to enjoy.

One of the main junction in Bangalore City. Normal waiting hall,AC waiting hall and luggage counter,tiffin shops, andany other shops are available here. From here there are many number of trains to different destinations of India like Mumbai,Delhi,vascodagama, Kochuveli,etc... Rest rooms are available. Station is maintained very neatly with free WiFi upto 30 mins. Metro station is also available to reach here easily.

Hassan trains general boarding station is yeshwanthpur, platform 6 is much bigger and easy to access from main road compared to platform 1. Platforms are clean and have many facilities. Ramps are available for wheelchair and heavy luggage. Elevators would have been nice. Dustbins are kept in several places. They have nandini milk parlor in platform 1 and 6. Metro station is accessible from platform 6.

Worst very bad experience from TTI. I Went 1st time to Bengaluru ,the entry gate from platform number 1 is closed but small way is there we entered from platform number 1 and went to take a ticket to platform number 6 they asked ticket. We requested a lot but they put a fine on us. Very very bad experience.please at least put a VVTM machine alnear by platform number 1

Worst in case of navigation. There is no entry gate if you reach platform no. 1. I have missed my train in search of a platform entry. The place is very dirty, smelly and rushy. Looks like you came to Pakistan. Everyone will stare at you and give you wrong advise. Don't trust anyone. Tips: Book your cab to platform no. 5 side.

It is a major station in Bangalore and almost all the express trains stop here. One can get everything they may require during the train journey here - like chips, biscuits, shops for lunch dinner, washroom, drinking water taps, etc. Announcements are sometimes made in extreme low voice - so, passangers need to stay aware.

The reachability is good from Green line metro terminal just beside Railway Platform no.6 and there is a adjoining bus stop as well on Tumkur road side.

Esp ಪ್ಲಾಟ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮ್ 1 ರಿಂದ ಇತರ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ / ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.

From being traffic controller to Bangalore City railway station, it has emerged as main station for people living around. This station has good connectivity to all major cities in India. Neat and well maintained station. We have metro connectivity to Bangalore from platform 6. (50mtrs from exit)

ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಲ್ಡ್ ವಾಟರ್ ಪ್ಲಾಂಟ್ ಗಳು ಇದ್ದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ . ವಾಟರ್ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ ಯೆನ್ನುವ ಸಮಸ್ಥೆಯಾ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೇಡ್ ಮಾಡಿ ವಾಟರ್ ಪಡೆಯ ಬಹುದು . ರೈಲ್ವೇಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ತುಂಬಾಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇದೆ ಶುಚೀ ಯಾಗಿದೆ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ .

Nice infrastructure and well maintained . Looks awesome from outside . Wish they have elevators or escalators for elderly people .. auto/taxi stand right outside for east access . There is a hotel on the exit and decent food . Overall a good experience..

Nicely maintained Railway Station, Clean and announcement are properly made. I like the way this station functioning. This has wheelchair ramp, lifts etc..
