Went with my colleague to grab my first carne asada burrito to go, up the street from our office on Hillhurst. Although we had to wait quite a bit for our food, the burritos were delicious. It's hours later and no heavy feeling in my stomach. I will definitely go back. Excellent and tasty.
James Beard recognized taco hut that’s known for the cochinita pibil. Came here for lunch after running at Griffith, and three tacos hit the spot. You order and pay first, and then they’ll call your name. Bring cash. There’s a customer only
I had heard a fair amount of praise for the "Cochinita Pibil Taco" at Yuca's on Hillhurst, a Yucatecan food shack in Los Feliz that has been in operation since 1976. Along the way, this unassuming establishment picked up a James Beard Award
I never ever leave google reviews but this place is the exception. I moved to the area 5 years ago and it was love at first sight. I cannot even put into words how delicious the food is. I recommend the carne asada tacos, carnita burritos,
I heard that this place used to have good meat and then it went downhill in recent years. I decided to give it a chance the other day and those rumors were true. The food was extremely mediocre. I ordered 3 different tacos and they were
Tiny, overpriced turdburgers - you're better off going to McDonald's. The double cheeseburger that I ordered here was a greasy, tasteless mess. The carne asada burrito is small & overpriced - the flavor, meh. I haven't bothered with the
We’re in town for a few days and after wandering around Griffith Park for a while, we decided to try this James Beard-recognized spot for lunch. It’s a casual little window-serve eatery that was constantly busy while we were there.
It felt so good to receive the welcome I got. I haven't been here in years since I moved away but La Señora made me feel like I was just here yesterday. This is a very small place with more parking than seats but it's perfect since
Food was very good. I had the hamburger. I loved that it was not so big, but full of flavor. I also had the bean and cheese burrito. Not a lot of room for eating or may I say too close to other tables. But I had a nice time. More
Been coming here for 20 years now and it’s still as good as ever. Everyone is lovely. First time trying the double cheeseburger and was not disappointed, but the carne asada and the cochinita pibil are also incredible.
We literally traveled 4-5 hrs. to have some of these tacos. My bf is a Sous Chef from Las Vegas and he mentioned he never got to ENJOY tacos like these before!!!! Carnitas was our favorite... muchas gracias! More
One of my favorite bean and cheese burritos in the city. Good balance, and the beans are still pretty intact so the texture is refreshing compared to something like Al & Bea's (one of my other favorite's).
Quick service even though there was a line. Cheap prices for everything. I believe there wasn't anything over 11 dollars. Food tasted great though and I can't wait to come back. More
A gem of a taco hut with some of the warmest faces you’ll ever encounter. Food is consistently fantastic and I love their entire menu. I’ve been eating here for over 10 years! More
Cute lil taco shack in a parking lot. Tasty burrito, I got the carnitas. Could’ve been a lil bigger, but I liked the price and there was ample parking in the lot! More
Best burritos in LA. Nothing fancy here. Make sure you ask for the pickled peppers. Carnitas is my favorite. Made with beans, no cheese or other fixings. Simple.
This place is a dump, they store there food in the liquor store across the parking lot. 14.00 for a burrito, that is extremely excessive.
Yuca's has been here forever and will hopefully be here for as long as humans need to eat food! Burgers and burritos to die for!
I’ve had the pibil burrito which was pretty good and the double chili burger which was surprisingly good!
