Why have a doctor who won't see you when you're sick? Dr. Kim is fine if you're not sick. If your cholesterol is high he will say "cut back on red meat." But if you are actually sick, you are out of luck. ____________________ I had a symptom I was worried about so I called Dr. Kim's office on Tuesday to get an appointment. I did not have a fever and I was not in pain. The male staff said their next available was on Monday, 6 days later. The condition worsened. Later I spoke to a female staff I asked "can't you fit me in?" she said "No. Dr. Kim is very busy with patients who have appointments." So TWO staff members turned me away. This is clearly his policy. So what am I supposed to do when I'm sick? Go to the emergency room? What good is having a doctor who won't see you when you're sick? By Thursday night I had a fever and I was in pain. On Friday morning I went somewhere else and was able to see a NP who walked into the room and knew instantly what the condition was. Unfortunately, it was too late for medicine to be effective so now I am looking forward to 2 - 4 WEEKS of pain and no sleep. Thanks, Doc.

I needed a physical exam and a TB skin test done fast for school and I had gone to many clinics and many of them were not available until 3 weeks out, or they could not do the type of physical that I needed. Thank God I found this clinic! Everyone was super friendly! I also liked their reasonable pricing. However, they did not treat me right away because I did not have an appointment. I had to wait about 2 hours, but it's understandable; they have other patients who had made appointments in advanced. They treated me and another "walk-in" patient, and stayed past their hours of operation, so I thought that was really cool of the staff! Also, I did not have 3 forms that I needed them to fill out, but they were kind enough to print them for me. So overall I had a good experience with them! Thank you!!

Dr. Yun is a rare find: he is the kind of doctor who sits with you and actually talks to you. I have been to way too many doctors who saw me for 30 seconds, had a nurse practitioner give me refills, and never listened to a word I say. So when I started going to Dr. Yun and he showed genuine interest in my health in a holistic way, including asking about the wellbeing of my family who live in a war zone, I knew that this will be a doctor I can trust with my life. Moreover, the practice staff are extremely helpful, warm, and professional. They always address issues as soon as they arise and show so much empathy, compassion, and patience. Honestly if my new insurance allowed me to continue to see Dr. Yun, I would have been their patient for life. I highly recommend making Dr. Yun your general doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Kim’s for roughly 5 years. I’ve always had a good experience with Dr Kim, generally very quick to get an appointment. If you’re looking for a small practice with a Dr that will remember you and spend more than the bare minimum in the room with you, he’s your guy. He doesn’t just prescribe meds, he gives many approaches you can take and listens to what you have to say and takes that into account. Only reason it’s not a 5 star review is the front desk can be hit or miss at times, recently my experience has been better with this so hopefully that continues!

This may be quite the distinct review, but I was very close to Evergreen Family practice for a few years. One of the most wonderful places I’ve ever experienced, Dr. Kim is truly the embodiment of what you would expect in a physician. He is kind, patient, and listens to his patients with a bedside manner that is unmatched. I have nothing but high praise for the way he treats his patients and manages his practice. Even though it’s a small team, I can promise you that they will go out of their way to help you and make your visit at Evergreen as welcome as possible.

I had an 8:45am appointment and the nurse practitioner didn’t come into the room until 9:50 am. After more than an hour of waiting in the patient room the provider informed me that they couldn’t help me with my standard needs. It is infuriating to see people with such little respect or consideration. I explicitly informed them of my needs when scheduling the appointment and during the check-in process with the nurse. THIS IS GROSSLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE. Do yourself the favor and go somewhere else.

I came in without an appointment and feeling horrible from a viral infection. Nevertheless, the staff and Dr. Kim went out of their way even near closing time to make sure I was thoroughly examined and the right meds prescribed. I've lived All over Texas and experienced many medical clinics and doctors, but both Dr. Kim and his entire staff continually exhibit only the utmost quality in professional and humane medical care I've ever received Anywhere.

I had not gone to a doctor in 20 years due to feelings of being herded in like cattle. Seemed all the doctors cared about was the almighty dollar. Then I was referred to Dr Yun Kim by a friend and I was amazed at the quality of care he and his staff provide. Dr Kim truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. I am so glad to have Dr Kim as my doctor. He is the best!

Saw Dr. Kim today for my annual. He was very thorough and listened to all my concerns. He even took time to ask about my family and job. We discussed the plan for weight loss and getting my A1c down. I went from 189 to 169 and he has gotten my A1c down from 7.5 to 5.7 in just 3 months. I’m so happy! And last but not least,staff member, Yesenia is the best!!!

Absolutely terrible. Doctor was not willing to care about his patient, Staff were not helpful. I had to called several times to get results, they keep saying they have not get the result back yet. Find out the result were already available but they refuse to looked up. I do not recommend this clinic. If you willing to waste money this is the one for you.

Dr Kim is very nice and professional but his assistants are all the opposite. I've been waiting for a call back for almost a month for something that is urgent I have emailed twice and called the office twice as well but still no luck. This is a sign that it's time to switch doctors.

Don’t waste your time going unless you have a guarantee appointment. I called and they had told me I can come before 2 for a walk In appointment and when I arrived at 11:30 they told me I need an appointment to be seen even though I had just spoken with someone on the phone.

I went there on Dec 4. I like it there because they see you right away. Front desk, nurse and Dr were very friendly. Other places you have to wait days, sometimes months to be seen. I recommend this place to everyone who needs to be seen right away.

Dr. Kim is attentive, thorough, and personable. This is the kind of family practice doctor you want to invest your time and trust in. In a growing city like Austin, it's nice to show up and have your doctor remember and care about you as a person.

Dr Kim has been my doctor for several years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my health, he's definitely focused on you as an individual which is very new to me being in Texas,

Dr. Kim is very caring, and not a 'pill pusher'. He has training in eastern and western medicine and prefers a non-interventionist approach.
