I have been ordering delicious food from Zarellis for quite a while. It must have recently changed hands. I recieved my order from uber eats a pizza. It was burnt and stone cold. I rang Zarelllis the gentleman said he would make a new one which I was thank ful for however I had to drive and pick it up. Wasn't overall stoked about that as I'd payed for delivery. However I did this. I arrive at the restaurant which had a bout 2 tables full not overall busy inside. However waited ten minutes or so to be served with myself the only one standing at the counter with the cold pizza in the box. By this time I asked for a refund. The owner refused to do this only over uber eats. Which isn't instant. He then turns to the one and only young girl behind the counter and proceeds to tell her off in front of me which caused the young girl to burst Into tears. I said to the manager that that wasn't okay to treat our young people who are moving ahead in life trying to build their skills with disrespect. We don't need people bringing down our youths confidence in society. He refused to apologise to her and stated 'she's my staff'. Well yes she is However you don't have the right to talk to her that way. I hope that young staff member knows she is doing a good job. And after the manager reads this review he apologies to her. I was ok up until that scene. Then I became disappointed. Also with pizza it barely has any topping on it one piece of pineapple on a piece of the pizza isn't much for a Ham and pineapple pizza. I left with the new pizza. I didn't want to stand at a counter and hear a list of excuses. A solution was all. And an appology to your staff. I hope zarellis goes back to being incredible like it was. As this was a disappointing experience. I let the manager know I would write this review.

We use to get Zarelli's quite often, but i think our business with this restaurant is terminated from here forward. We ordered our food to be delivered and what arrived was a mess. the bag had ripped open and our food fell everywhere in our driveway, the lids had started to melt into the food! I use to get the con pollo pasta and it was so delicious but now its a mess, a cream sauce instead of a red sauce with broccoli? like thats a pretty major change to a dish. and lets not even begin to mention how they managed to get the pasta choice wrong (chose penne, got fettuccini) and make it so dry but smothered in oil at the same time. i have seen the new owners replying to other reviews rather passive aggressively! even telling someone that it can be in any sauce, but why change it at all? why add broccoli? The arancini balls were 40% water and lastly the pepperoni pizza was loaded with jalapenos which is no fun for the person who ordered it as they hate spicy food! Based on the food quality, and the way the owners dont seem to care at all by using their passive aggressive replies as evidence. i will be telling all my friends who loved Zarellis just as much as me, how bad the new owners have made this place and showing them my photos as proof! So heartbroken.

Fall from grace...... We use to visit this establishment frequently, atleast once a week. Upon our arrival this evening we were not greeted as we came in, aswell as this no table service was provided at all. My uncle had ordered a schnitzel which came out on a broken chopping board and I ordered a Scotch Fillet steak. After waiting 20 minutes after ordering I was asked if I would like a rump steak as opposed to a scotch fillet as it would be quicker.. I thought this was rather bizarre. After waiting 45 minutes total I was served a steak that was cooked WELL DONE! After seeing this I requested a refund as I ordered RARE and this steak was definitely not that. Just before leaving a couple eating next to us came up and expressed their disappointment as they didn't get what they requested either, When I requested a refund I was met with hesitation and treated rudely when trying to express the issues we faced and how the service has degraded since we first started going there for meals. Disappointed is the only way to summarise this review, as this was for so long a lovely place to dine in.

Dined in, plenty of space for a a few people. Our order came quick. We had a Jack Daniels schnitzel and a Surf and Turf schnitzel. They came out on large platters, and they were huge. We ended up taking half of each of ours home. They were cooked well, tasted great. The chips were cooked well, but could do with some herbs to add some flavour. The garlic sauce with the surf n turf was a little salty. Overall a very good meal. Could do with larger tables to fit the platters on.

By far best hand made pasta in Adelaide. The service is very professional, accommodating and polished. Great atmosphere and layout of the venue. The host found us a perfect table to suit our dinner group. Every single dish we ordered was spot on and perfectly seasoned and flavours were really well balanced. The steak is also highly recommended as well as the deserts. All up best dinner we had in Adelaide in a very long time.

Just editing my review again as we visited there again for lunch time. Once again best experience we ever had of food specially pasta was really great. Thanks chef and service was also good. There are as lot of Italian restaurants around. We have 17 people business Christmas dinner organised with them. But this one stands out as one of the best I’ve ever been to. Superb food, excellent service, and relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I'm going to have to review this place twice, once as a cafe and another as a takeaway schnitty in a box place As a cafe, it's ok, nothing spectacular, the artwork inside is pretty. I liked my coffee, my wife didn't like hers unfortunately. We had a blueberry cheesecake and a pink lamingtom with cream, which were both good, but nothing makes us WANT to come back, thankfully this place is more than a cafe, so will come back to try other things. In the end $24 got us 2 coffees and 2 cakes. See you again soon

Visited Zarelli's yesterday for lunch. Food was lovely, but service was not great. We were the only ones there and walked in to the waitress sweeping the floor, which is totally fine, except we had to walk around her and she didn't even acknowledge our existence. We picked a table, sat and realised there was only a drinks menu. The waitress was now behind the bar, and had still not acknowledged us, so my son went to the bar and found some menus on the counter. The place was empty apart from us, so a little greeting and acknowledgement wouldn't of been hard.

My friend and I went to Zarellis at Seaford Meadows for lunch. The table was not clean and the waitress was already taking our order. We want the table wiped first please. Avocado and chicken salad we ordered with tomatoes, rocket, etc The salad should’ve been called rocket witn avocado and chicken It was unbelievably bad! One piece of chicken I had was kind of not fresh so I spat it off and buried under the rocket. Will not go back❌ Will nọt recommend ❗️

The food is great but service and delivery is poor. We’ve ordered delivery several times and each time the food has arrived cold and obviously been sitting for a long time. On one occasion we called to enquire where our food was as it had been over an hour, to be told they were busy and it was being prepared. Enjoyed the pizza with a friend, didn't have to book which was handy as it wasn't busy.I was a little disappointed with service though, as the wine was served hot and the waitperson said " Oh yes I just put it in the fridge" So it would have been good to mention that as well as when you are going to turn off the coffee machine as lots of people like to finish their dinner with a hot drink. Amaaazing food and service!! Went there with a few friends and absolutely loved it there. Very beautiful place to hangout with friends or family. Zarellis Penne was recommended to me by one of the staff members and it turned out absolutely FABULOUS. They really knew exactly what I wanted. Good portion and amazing flavours. A Special thanks to the staff members for taking such good care of us, great job team! We will be back again.

The food is good but i’m standing in the restaurant where none of the guys are wearing gloves or hairnets. they’re touching the pasta to seperate it with their bare hands. AND then i see them eating with the same hands their touching the food with; without washing them first. Definitely wouldn’t come here again because of this

I had a schnitzel and it was big BUT it was all breadcrumbs the chicken was rolled out around 4mm thick and had a coating of breadcrumbs up to 3mm thick both sides couldn't recommend the schnitzel my wife had a spaghetti marinara 3 prawns and a few bits of fish value for money NO I wouldn't go again.

Not a good take away experience. Over the phone order (1 pasta) not processed in the system. Had to re order when I arrived at the store. Minimal care factor when pasta was eventually picked up. Got home and found a 2cm beard hair in the pasta. (Placed on table). 2 people dining in - goodluck.

The place feels half finished, we had to repeat our order because they didn't hear a request for soy milk. 13 (plus card surcharge they didn't tell us about) for a hot chocolate and canolli is a bit on the expensive side. I think they must of changed owners again resently, food quality has gone down from what it was, ingredients taste cheap and for the price I expected a little more quality. I will say the box on onion rings its great though, $10 for around 20 and garlic aoli was great they tatse like the old Hjs ones.

Orderded 4 gient schnitzels. Its really supriced with pizza box hugh scnitzels once deliverd. Really wonderful food and quality. It was hot on time of deliverd. Them chips are one of the best quality of chips in that area. Will coming back soon.

I ordered dinner through Door Dash last night, the driver was waiting at the restaurant for 15+ minutes for my order. When we got the food the chips were luke warm at best, the burgers were hot, but for the price I was expecting better.

This is my 2nd visit since the new menu & once again the meal was AMAZING!! The quality of food is oustanding The staff are friendly & courteous. Will definitely be back again

The food was amazing! I had the Polo Chilli Prawn dish and it was way better that I could have expected.. So many good looking items on the menu it was hard to choose one.
