This place is one of sobo's best kept secrets. Situated deep inside the bylanes of Kala Ghoda this beautiful coffee spot is just perfect for an evening cup of joe. I've been a regular since last year and I love that this place hasn't changed one bit. The ambience is tastefully done and it is perfectly lit, not too bright and not too dark either. Coming to the coffee, I had their flat white on my last visit and it was heavenly as always. I paired it with a Cinnabun which is a pairing you just can't miss. They have free wifi which is quite fast and the upbeat cafe music really maintains the vibe I crave. I'd like to add a thankful note to the baristas on the counter who were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic when I tried to ask about proper pourover techniques and coffee beans since I brew at home as well. They are very knowledgeable artisans and genuinely appreciate their craft. It is one of those places you wish the best for yet hope it doesn't get too famous so that it stays your secret, haha! A must visit from my side!

Great place to be in! It is a small cafe tucked in a narrow lane. Finding a parking here could get tricky, we parked our vehicle right at the kalaghoda pay and park and walked to the place. Not sure what's the deal with service charges and restaurants these days, the place is not happy when a customer chooses to not pay the service charge. Some weird concept - if u don't pay service charge, u don't get points. The food is very fresh and balanced. Exactly what we needed after a hot day. Ordered for a raspberry kombucha, ginger ale, Greek salad, cinnabun What went well - the ambience - prompt service - cleanliness - food What could get better - the attitude with service charges (ofc) - parking facilities - cleanliness of restroom Food - raspberry kombucha: 9/10. - ginger ale : 7/10 . Definitely needs more ginger - Greek salad : 6/10. Lettuce to veggies balance terribly off. Needs more veggies. (Appreciate the freshness of ingredients and dressing) - cinnabun : 10/10. Fresh , moist and delicious. Must try!

This is an excellent restaurant to go to. It is a lovely cafe with excellent food variety, incredible taste, exceptional service, and perfect pricing! For the experience that you have here and the quality of the food that they serve, they could certainly afford to charge more but the fact that they have such affordable pricing makes Zen Cafe one of the places you can visit frequently and one of the best places you can go to in general. The food that they post on instagram is exactly how it is served in the restaurant as well. The presentation of it is enticing and the food is delectable. Not to mention they have healthy options too! The ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant is very comfortable and relaxing as well. The staff members are prompt, kind, hospitable and welcoming. I would certainly recommend Zen Cafe to anybody. Must try the hot chocolate with almond milk and the chocolate croissant!

As I decided to take stroll on a rainy evening, I noticed this cafe located at the end of a small street and it looked like an ideal spot for sipping a hot bowl of soup. The cafe has a very good ambience with tables on ground and mezzanine floor. They have good menu with lot of good options to try. The soup I ordered however was not upto the mark. Was it worth the money ? Don't really know but for overall experience? An absolute yes. It's not fair to just judge an entire place on the basis of a damn tomato basil soup. The prices are quite reasonable for the location. The service staff as a whole were noticeably very polite. Do try the place for the good ambience they offer. I would recommend you to stick to coffee and other related deli food.

I visited this place last evening because I was badly craving a good coffee. It's located a bit ahead of Carter's Blue in Kalaghoda and is a small and cute cafe. Very limited menu for food but great options for coffee and beverages. The biggest drawback I can say is that they still charged me Service Charge even though it's legally not allowed. We paid it as it was a small amount but a head's up to y'all! What I tried: • Mushroom on Toast (3/5): Very decent in taste. Creamy herb mushrooms on toasted sourdough bread. Absolutely hated the quantity of this one for the price they are charged us. • Cafe Froid (4/5): This was basically a cold coffee with a bit of creamy texture to it. It was really good. Tried Cafe Froid for the first time, wasn't really surprising. It's a one time visit cafe tbh.

Edit: Went from 5 stars to 4 stars due to slow service during rush hour + little communication from the servers. It took 30min to get our coffee and double for the food. This is easily a must-visit and my favourite coffee shop in Mumbai. The atmosphere is spectacular, a hidden den in a not-so-narrow alley where you can find some respite from the heat. The music is jazzy and not overpowering, you can come here to talk, work or write. The coffee is cheap for Mumbai and definitely incredibly well executed - from the choice of beans to the latte art. The service is efficient and not overbearing. I was able to pay with a foreign card (around 236₹ for a latte).

Situated in the heart of the town, this place serves one of the best Cinnabuns. Even the coffees are decent including the pricing. Not at all overpriced. I have tasted its cappuccino, americano, latte and even flat white. Even the pizza platters are a good choice to feed a normal appetite. It is a great place to sit, work, and hang out with friends or colleagues. Quite light on the pocket given the location. Plus one for that. The place has two sitting zones - ground plus top. We usually prefer the top given the vibe. The ambience and interiors are perfect with a decor that compliments them. Cosy couches and lounge chairs make the experience a lot more relaxing than normal chairs anyday. And those are set up mostly on the top where you can sit, relax, chat, work and have a gala time.

Such an amazing cafe! Very calm and pleasant vibes; perfect for if you're trying to unwind or get some work done. Good wifi! The coffee options are wonderful and the house made almond milk makes the cappuccinos so silky. The salads were super refreshing, good portions, and flavorful. Let's not forget about the bread! Definitely start with the house made bread and butter, you will not regret! It is a delicious assortment of sourdough and focaccia.

Worst experience. Good ambience, a quiet place, but the taste is not upto the mark, more than that the service is so bad, the waiters are too arrogant, no knowledge of how to behave with customers, not only my experience but also from 3/4 of my friends when they were here. Especially one of the waiter, he is so rude and arrogant, thats just cant be accepted. Despite of good ambience i would never visit this cafe again and would not suggest anyone to go there. Instead do visit Carters Blue, just besides this zero star zen cafe. Food quality and taste of carters blue is good, so can visit there instead of this zen cafe.

Nice quiet cafe hidden away in the busy streets of Mumbai. Greta vegan food and desserts. The platter and burger were amazing. Burger comes with sweet potato fries and platter has great tasting dips. I have always been to this place for coffee or tea in the evenings or at night. But I went there for lunch this afternoon and am totally in love with their food. It is an all-veg place, and both the food taste and portion are on point. If you are a sweet potato fan, you have to try their baked sweet potato wedges. We also called for a pizza platter; the taste of all three pizzas on the platter was perfect. Talking about the risotto, was creamy and well-flavored. The drinks are also equally good. A must-try place. LOVED IT!

Disappointed with food Zen cafe at lower Parel was my second home.I was happy that they switched to my vicinity in fort but yesterday the food at Zen really disappointed me.Tried my standard dishes which I use to order prior but with interiors I think even the taste of food have changed. Ordered food: 1-Aam Pana (sour,very blend taste of mango and jaggery, balance of Indian spices were missing) 2-Mango pizza (too sour ) 3-Teriyaki Tofu 4-Panini Sandwich Cucumber,lettuce and tomato-(Need some dressing inside or else becomes to dry) 5-Chocolate ganache-(Best part of the meal) Not worth visting

The cafe was on the list for a while, the ambience is pleasant. The servers are warm. I ordered the macchiato and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was really good and although I am someone who likes it thick, the consistency could have been better and smooth. The macchiato was good, loved the cookies they serve along. The almond croissant was good, although would've preferred the almond cream to be less sweet

A cozy café in the South of Mumbai. I wasn't able to check if it's a pure vegetarian place but the menu was predominantly veg if I hadn't had the chance the see the full list. Try out the 'vegetarian' California Sushi (which I think is the mock California Maki prepared using fresh veggies and the power of avocado. The fruit infusion was excellent and i must say the coffee was superb! I have yet to try the assortment of pastries available. Something to look forward to next.

Discovered this place as I was walking around Kala Ghoda with my friend and what an excellent find! An ideal place to go an read a book on peace with good coffee. The menu had a variety of options. The touchless QR code ordering is super easy and the seated spaces are all comfy to sink into for any chat!! They have a lot of breads and cakes to try from. Should definitely give this place a try if you looking for something quite and It will impress you beyond your expectations, definitely!!

I have heard so much about this place especially their pizzas and desserts. I went to this place along with my friends to have desserts and have ordered vegan cupcake and chocolate ganache. To be honest, it was very okay okayish in a taste, Ganache was good but the cupcake was too dry to eat. For both the desserts we have paid 600₹ which was very overpriced and I felt not worth it.

The Cafe is good. The location is also upto the mark. Convenient place. The food is like more of a healthy types. The service is slow, but the ambience is good, seating arrangements are proper. It has an upper deck having sofas for comfortable seating also. The Zen Platter is a good option.

a nice and rather trendy place. the drinks and food are excellent. the service is correct but lacks sincerity and naturalness. A pity it would have deserved a 5* otherwise.

Favourite café in Mumbai! Fantastic food and very, very good coffee. We loved starting our day here and we’ll definitely be back :)

Tried this hummus spread with pita bread, with a mojito. Both were really delicious. The pitta bread with hummus served 2 of us. Overall great ambience and would definitely go back again!

Fantastic cafe with great food, tea, and coffee. Definitely go for the cardamom chai and aeropress coffee. The pumpkin ravioli was also so delicious! Fast WiFi and power outlets as well!

A place with lot of buzz. Here food was super good. The seating the interiors all beautifully set. A cafe owner is so warm and welcoming,vouching for his menu. Incredible menu.

Beautiful perfectly named cafe in the Fort area. Absolutely delicious coffee. So “Zen” it could be in Kyoto! Loves it!

Delicious and healthy food, amazing coffee, and strong wifi so you can work from your laptop. Highly recommend the cafe froid and soba noodle salad!

Service can be little bit fast... Otherwise place and food and PPL are awesome
