Unfortunately super disappointed with a Christmas meal organised here, after extensive emails we were so excited to bring a large group to ZeroDegrees. The buffet food was not sufficient for our party, even though we actually didn't have around 20 guests attend. We had to request for more to come which is just really embarrassing, and shows that it wasn't actually catered for 60 like we had paid for. Other parties were actually taking from our buffet too and due to all staff being on the bar they couldn't really stop this happening. Additionally, the bruchetta & pate was half on bread half just on Ryvita. Not a good look. Prep wise, this was all prebooked, so how on earth Ryvitas had to be used as your bread obviously ran out I don't know. After prepaying deposits, and agreeing on email that we would all individually pay on the day, the venue insisted 1 lump sum payment, which INCLUDED full price for 20 guests who didn't turn up. Apparently the 'deposit' was a part payment. This is really disappointing, especially as we are students, who are now completely out of pocket. No discount was offered & we are so disappointed that we paid so much money. We cannot chase those who did not attend for full payment for the meal, as they paid a deposit, and didn't attend. I don't understand why the deposit doesn't stand. We had organised and organised and unfortunately it was just disappointing experience on the night. Staff were great, food was okay. Long wait at the bar but understandable due to other large parties being there. Felt like we were shoved in a corner, no sit down tables, just on sofas. Not what was expected! I genuinely believe we were not prioritised due to being students. I am sure this is a great place to dine in general as it seems great, but maybe not for parties. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Attached are the complimentary puddings for 60 people. Before anyone has eaten any.

Booked for a restaurant meal and requested to sit outside due to the nice weather, happy we did so but was not informed that there would be no table service if sat outside, would like to see that clarified. Slight confusion then about who would be taking our order and it wasn't the best experience to queue at the bar for a while to be able to order, but again, just need a clearer process. 40-45 mins wait for food, fairly reasonable for fresh cooked but did have to check up to ensure we didn't feel forgotten about. Great food and delicious drinks. I must say the worst aspect of the visit was the men's toilets, I know it is a bar as well as a restaurant but they were foul. Urinals need a new drainage system in, as they leave a pool of urine that does not drain away. The sink with the arsty 45degree glass drainage was stained, mouldy, and had some suspiciously vomit like stains on it. The splashback at the base of the sink was also mouldy and damp, and did not feel hygienic at all. Needs a renovation I'd say.

Wouldn't recommend for a Christmas meal. Went here for a pre-booked, pre-ordered Christmas meal. Although the food was nice, the portions were tiny. The service was also incredibly slow. I've worked in the catering industry for years and so can appreciate that at busy times, the food can be slower to come out. However, since this was a pre-ordered set menu, I'm not sure why there was such a delay. We arrived, and received our starters straight away. We didn't receive any drinks for some time after this. Each course then took about an hour to come out. I appreciate that Christmas can be a busy time for restaurants but perhaps 0 degrees had over booked themselves this time. The rest of the diners at the restaurant seemed to be having their Christmas meals too, so surely with a fixed, pre-ordered menu, there shouldn't be this much delay in sending food out. As far as I'm aware, we received no apology by staff for the wait. In the restaurant area, loud, club like music was blasted around so my friends and I were having to shout to hear each other. Combined with the air conditioning that came on later in the evening, (despite it being below freezing temperatures outsize and not hot inside) the whole evening was a bit of a disappointment.
Decent food, decent drinks, however we were there on a Friday night at about 6:30, and they had a live DJ playing music, fine enough, except it was deafeningly loud. There were loud speakers everywhere inside and so try as we might, we couldn't find a single spot for our group of 8 which wasn't just far too loud. This does not bill itself as a club-like space so this was a bit of a surprise. We had planned to stay for the evening but in the end we got our drinks, had some food as planned, and then left well before we had intended to do so to find somewhere quieter. I really cannot figure out who the music was meant to be for, as the inside was basically deserted apart from my group and some other people in the restaurant area, and I can't imagine they'd planned to be unable to hear each other over food. Perhaps its just a differing in expectations, and maybe it isn't always like this, but we found that this really wasn't a bar that you could stay in for long to have any kind of conversation in.

Starter (battered prawns) was mediocre, and then there was a 45 minute wait for our main course. Pretty sure the kitchen misplaced the order completely and forgot about our table. The manager (who had all the charm of an obnoxious orch) came over and impolitely informed us that "even though it might not look so, the kitchen is very busy" - in a restaurant that can seat 100 covers there were 4 tables. My girlfriend's pizza was mediocre, but the pot of mussels I ordered weren't cleaned properly, and I can only compare it to chewing rubbery seafood lined with what felt like grit between my teeth. I sent them back and the creature from middle-earth told me it was black pepper. She was rude and as bad as the food, at the end of the meal I felt like they should have tipped us, not the other way round (we didn't leave a tip). A few years ago this place was great and always busy, now it's like a wasp sting in a blister - painful and empty.

Zero degrees a pub and pizza place where you can enjoy yourself on maximum. Visiting this place second time I had bad experience sharing the table with friends. First of all the waiters brought the beer to my friend Stella with no expression, not a single politeness! No matter that she was young this is up to the floor management to make a brief every day before service. The review jumped to 6 stars when the Spanish host supply us with tobacco filters, no matter that when I made complimentary judgement regarding the muscles to the chef prepared them, I got one disrespectful face and I saw his back! That was the worst thing I experienced in my 7 years know how working in the hospitality industry! Seriously no matter if the customer had 1 or 5 beers you always have to be polite and not be disrespectful to him, that’s why we are working in this industry!!!
Worse Xmas dinner ever: we suppose to had our Xmas dinner tonight (8/12/23) at 8p. They didn't have a table ready for our booking (over 30 people), we couldn't find anyone to talk with (the place was completely full) and 45 min after, we had to leave because we realize we wont get the starters in minimum 2h time (they have another booking of 50-60 people next to us, and in that 45 min, they didn't have any food at all. The organization was a completely disaster, they didn't have enough people for all the bookings that they had tonight. There are a lot more details that I left behind to don't make this review too long. I just hope they accept they mistakes and they give the money of the deposit back.

Firstly, once you’ve got up the Christmas steps, this place gives you great views over central Bristol. Nice variety of craft beers - loved the Mango Lager ! It tastes great, so if it’s there do try.. as the friendly bar staff are more than happy to oblige with a taster. So, the service is friendly, helpful, chatty and attentive, which is great to experience. Well done. As we were there for about 3 hours we got some pizzas and they’re fabulous. Cooked on prem and great snack to accompany your waltz through craft ale drinking. 3rd time I’ve been taken here by a Bristolian friend and it’s always great. Nice vibe and look forward to visiting again !

Visited with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon and although it wasn’t peak times, the atmosphere was still lively and we felt welcome. The bar/restaurant is central in Bristol, located at a height overlooking the city centre. I went for the lamb pizza, which had just the right about of a chilli kick to be absolutely delicious. Their own mango beer is now a firm favourite of mine! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed (even popcorn when playing pool). I couldn’t fault our experience at Zerodegrees and look forward to returning for more yummy food!

In summary, it was ok but did not meet our expectations. As with the other reviews, It seems the service is quite hit and miss. The veggie platter starter was really good so I have included a photo of that. Some feedback to improve things next time: - Either provide tap water on every table or clear the extra empty glasses; - Mark what is vegetarian on the menu (because it's a nuisance to have to ask); - Offer the bill when clearing the table when desserts are declined rather than expecting the table to call you over again later; - Check (and clean) the toilets often; - Put more than one piece of preserved lemon in the asparagus and preserved lemon risotto :)
A very enjoyable dinner at Zero Degrees. They accommodated a large group of us (made with a reservation) and successfully got all our drinks and food organized in good time. The meals were splendid and well presented, the drinks equally delicious. I had the tequila and lime chicken tagliatelle, and a berry blush mocktail. All of which I highly recommend. Overall, impeccable service and lovely internal decor.

A great deal of money has clearly gone into making this place attractive. It's such a shame none of it went to the quality of the food and beers. It's by far not terrible but overall leaves a lot to be desired as a micro brewery serving four beers none of which would be used as mouthwash by any credible beer expect and pizza where the crust is more crispy carbon than anything edible does not encourage a return visit but I expect that's the point to pull in punters who don't expect much.

Bottomless pizza & prosecco or beer. When you see bottomless food being involved in a bottomless brunch, you feel wary about the quality....we didn't need to be! The pizza was really tasty and was definitely bottomless the only rule being you had to finish one before getting another. Loved that it wasn't just prosecco, the boys could order their own beer as well. The service was faultless. To update my review,. I went in today with my Mum in a wheel chair through the nice ramp and the flat entrance which was great. Then looked for a table but there were non on that floor we could use being prepped for Christmas. It was suggested that we walk down the road by 50m and then Back on ourselves and down a road with no pavement to get to the lower floor. Rubbish service for those in wheel chairs, I guess they don't count. Will I be going back. Nope never They had loads of tables not sat in upstairs would have been great for someone say sorry we don't have a lift but maybe we can make up a table for you.
Have wanted to try this place every time I drive past it and we weren’t disappointed. Able to sit outside as it was a nice warm evening. Tried two of their craft beers and they were great. Both went for pizza, and one has to be gluten free. Normally gluten free pizza especially from the supermarket are always rubbish compared to normal pizza but this one was amazing and probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff were really friendly, would recommend to anyone

There was a sign outside the front door saying 2 for 1 on steins. When they then tried to charge me £25 for two steins, I challenged it and although the server was pleasant, the manager was rude and told me she didn't care about the sign and that the website clearly stated "not in december". When I asked why I would use the website when I was already in the bar, she just kept repeating that "the website is very clear" and refused to answer whether it was false advertising. Terrible service.

We went for the bottomless pizzas in April and weren't disappointed. The pizzas were amazing, we got through 6 out of the 7 in the 90 minutes alloted. Our waitress Jackie was brilliant, kept the drinks topped up and very knowledgeable about both the food and the drink. We have booked to go again The only disappointment for us was where we were sat. Our table was right under the stairs, so all the dirt from people's shoes were at eye level whilst we were eating. Would suggest removing that table
My friend and I went here for dinner on Monday night .We both had pasta .Which was tasty and reasonable in price .We had a bottle of wine and a few drinks .We went to order another drink about 945pm and were told they were closing at 10pm and would have to leave as cleaners would be coming in ! Apparently this happens every Monday we were not aware of this before booking .

We had a stag party here over the weekend and I must say I did like the place. It's very big with a big bar and plenty of sitting areas. It has great decor Staff are friendly Food was really good. I had Jamaican jerk chicken pizza I didn't get to try any of there ales as I wasn't drinking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy though. The cocktails looked great and I did have a sip of an old fashioned. Tasted greeat Very easy access to get to the place with a multi story carpark pretty close.
Such a wonderful time, my family (4) tried the metre long pizza and it was amazing!! you can split it up into four and have different types of pizza on each bit, it allows you to try lots of the menu at a reasonable price for the amount of pizza you get. The beer was excellent highly recommend. After we finished our meal which was waited by Tom, who was great and friendly, we sat down in the ‘bar area’ and enjoyed drinks and played cards, great way to end our trip in Bristol!
Visiting on a Sunday, we didn't expect it to be busy, but I didn't think it would be so quiet , only two other tables. A number of items were off the menu, and judging by the Duck pizza I ordered, ingredients were in short supply. Wish I had chosen the salad that looked lovely. We have visited many times in the past, and things have been very good. I think we chose a bad day

Sunday lunchtime with friends. Staff member who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. Explained all of the beer choices on offer. Food was very good quality. Went here yesterday for the bottomless pizza and beer. Dan was an amazing host, and even with the influx of runners from the 10K, he was still able to make sure we were all topped up. Even tho the beer options were just their core range, they were rather good. The pizzas were delicious too. Highly recommended.

The view is amazing. I only take their own brewery beer - Mango this time 6.20£ a pint. Yes a bit expensive then other pubs but it’s craft beer by their own. The vibe is good, you can chill, enjoy the music and view. I will definitely return for their food. “ Beat the clock “ is a great idea. The staff are very kind and glad to recommend/ introduce their beer and cocktails to you
We came in at approximately 7:30pm on Sunday evening. Despite the fact that they had officially just closed the kitchen, they kindly agreed to serve us if we were prompt with ordering (fair enough). A short time later we were presented with 3 delicious meals. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for being so accommodating.

It is a beautiful location with great personality. The mussels are of outstanding quality and taste. The Monday eat the clock (where you pay the price of the time you arrive for the meal) is such a great deal and for the quality of the food seems like a unfeasible business model that we love. Thanks a lot to the entire team, especially Tom he is amazing!
The good is modern and outstanding, with woodfired pizzas and a good selection of starters and mains. Best parking is Trenchard St. Evening parking on a weekday cost £4. Park near the top and exit on foot on the 8th floor. Less than 5 minute walk to the Zero Degrees entrance. It’s a big, airy place with friendly service and usually not crowded.

First time visit here. Came for a family reunion. My Margherita pizza was DELICIOUS (compliments to the chef!) Atmosphere was great (nice to have fresh air in as well). Cornish Cider was nice and refreshing. However I was a bit disappointed that there was only STEAK knives to cut the pizzas and not actual pizza cutters.
Thank you so much for a great meal and brilliant service from Hannah and Toby on Wednesday 24th August. We were kept up to date with how long our order would take and it came earlier than expected. Both staff showed initiative and offered a warm welcome - you made us feel like individuals. Will definitely be back More
massive sprawling micro brewery with on site fresh pizza and reasonable menu choice. Beers are different from the site in Blackheath as the water in Bristol seems kind to brewing. Suffice to say that you should try the range of beers and the friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you find something that you like.
Great beer and a good balcony/terrace. But the Saturday evening DJ was terrible - playing awful music, completely unsuited for the crowd/space, unbelievably loudly. We had one pint each then left with ringing ears - saw several groups arrive in that time, listen for a few seconds, shake their heads and leave.
Came here for drinks and left. One man at the bar at the weekend was busy at 5 pm. Took ages ri make two drinks. Drinks weren't even that good.

Has a nice New Zealand beer and the best pizza I have had this year. We only stopped in for a quick refreshing beer during our walking tour of Bristol but when I saw they did pizza I ordered the margarita and the pizza pieces with extra pepperoni. It was amazing. Definitely my best pizza this year. More
A pleasant place, lots of room and some really good outdoor space. It's worth me mentioning that I am of the opinion that the abundance of microbreweries means that pubs are becoming full of average beer that all tastes the same and this place is a victim of that, the beer is nice but not memorable.
Nice panoramic view from the terrace. We wait long for the pizza but it was worth it. The pizza was very delicious and unique. Also the prices are ok. I recommend this place.

Nice restaurant with decent food and beer. Enjoyed meal outside in sun. Went for interesting Jamaican chicken topping which was tasty but pizza somewhat soggy in centre. Mrs' BBQ chicken salad was very tasty. Was a lunch time deal but wasn't advertised. Would go again!
I used to like the pizza here, but it has noticeably decreased in quality over the last year. They put less toppings on them, and the last few times I went the crust was too burnt. The wait times are sometimes up to an hour, which is a lot for pizza. The beer is good.
Really like this bar and always return here. Beer brewed on site, pizza made & cooked properly (wood fired), open kitchen (always reassuring). Location is good, interesting view from the balcony

It's called Zerodegrees because that's probably how hot the water in their dishwasher is. The state of the cutlery was disgusting and I had to go on a walk around four different tables to find some which was clean enough to use.
We have been coming here for 7 years now and have always been happy with the food and the service. The quality of the service got worse last year but I thought I give the place one last chance this year. Well, I shouldn't have.
What an absolute delight. Great pizza and fantastic beer. Wasn't so busy when we were there but I can imagine that it is hugely so at weekends. If you are ever in the area, don't miss the chance to try this place out. Brilliant.

This place is so convenient for an after work drink on a Friday and a great choice of beers. It may be I’m just a grumpy old man but for an after work beer I just want to
