I heard nothing but good things about this place, however it was not what I experienced. The food was fabulous but the service should get 0 stars. We were a group of 11 celebrating a friend that has just got a heart transplant. We probably spent $1100 but never have I felt being rushed and 0 appreciated for the business the restaurant was not busy but they could not wait to get us out. I understand if it’s busy but not when it’s slow. If we had not felt like we were being pushed out we would have had more drinks. The servers spoke lousy English and when I asked for a drink menu they said they did not have one, but based on their grasp of the English language probably had no idea what I was asking for! I was very very disappointed and was my first time there and will definitely be my last! Based on my experience on the service I would recommend staying away from this place! On top of it they lost my friends gift!

Dinner at Zorro’s was pricey and truly not worth it. The ambience is old world steakhouse which is rustic and nostalgic however needs a little TLC. For example, the large chandelier in the dining room needs repair. The service was quick and efficient. The food was mediocre. A basket of garlic bread, relish tray with pickles and black olives and butter shaped rounds are offered to start. Our meals included a salad which truly is a mound of only lettuce with what appears to be and taste like store bought dressing. Strip loin and rib steak ordered which were cooked perfectly and tender. The veg sides are a huge chunk of steamed/boiled broccoli and carrots. The starch on offer was either rice, baked potato or fries (that are the frozen variety). Nothing awesome or super delicious. It was rudimentary stuff accompanying a good steak. It was not a bad experience nor a stellar one.

The place looks amazing inside, they even have a waiting area for your to get comfortable while your table is prepared. Oysters were really good but overpriced for a dozen; nice and large though not worth $49. Ordered two steaks, was underwhelmed by the side of broccoli, carrots, potato, fries, salad. My steak had zero seasoning on it but cooked evenly just as I asked medium rare. Just felt like I could get a more diverse salad from a grocery store. It was literally iceberg lettuce with a vinaigrette. The fries were soft not crispy not sure if they were cooked from frozen. When I pay for a +$60 steak I’d appreciate it if I wasn’t just given veggies. For a “steakhouse” I wasn’t impressed however the place was packed so there are probably other things on the menu.

Everytime on a while; When, I come to Toronto; I pass through this fine restaurant and mostly or usually I choose the Zorro's Cut which is a really flavor and tender steak from the house delicatessen. But before that it is always better to have some spiritual drinks with the friends or even with the loved ones. It's really cozy, and the service is amazing , you can not expect better camaraderie from the waitresses on site. A good choice if you are in town, you woukd not regret .

Amazing place for steak and seafood! Everything you're served here is so tasty and rich. When you're seated you're given a heaping toasted bread basket generously spread with garlic butter and served with a side of crisp pickles and olives. That alone filled us all up, but then comes the real food. If you come for lunch you get your main meal with a choice of soup or salad, plus a baked potato with sour cream all for around $40. I got the petit filet mignon and it was so tender and flavourful. It's so worth it! But I suggest coming here if you have no other plans for the rest of the day as you're going to be so stuffed you won't want to move again.. You will not be disappointed with the food and service here. 10/10!

Old style full service, staff shows a competence and attention to detail that is very uncommon in todays world. Food was above any standard you could possibly make! Portions are generous and our group of six received their orders at the same time bourne by several staff ! Steaks were superb! Large selection of wines to choose from and desserts were perfect! Make reservations well ahead as Zorros is very busy .! I highly recommend this restaurant..give yourself a well earned treat!

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner date here. The food was so filling! They took every request seriously and ensured we got all we asked for. Asked for a well cooked steak and they delivered so well. The Zorro's Platter for two was everything. It tasted so great.... I for some reason enjoyed the carrots in the Platter a little too much. . It's only at this restaurant that I have thoroughly enjoyed tipping because the service if asked to rate would have been over 100%. I am definitely recommending Zorro's to everyone for some ultimate fine dining experience.

From the greeting by the maître d' (not John, nor Nick) to the servers, service was top notch. They watched carefully and responded efficiently. The food was excellent. The clam chowder was the perfect thickness, and, yes, we could taste the clams. The shrimp are the largest we have seen since Guadalajara, with the right amount of horseradish in the cocktail sauce. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The Chateaubriand was cooked perfectly, and it was a delight to watch our server cut the meat and prepare our plates. This was our last meal in Canada for that trip, and it was perfect. Thanks to all.

Sometimes you are in the mood to stuff your face with large quantities of beef and have 3 heart attacks in the process. Zorro's will have you covered if that is your goal. I ordered the Prime Rib and got a thick slab of extremely tender, melt in your mouth roast that I now dearly miss with all my heart. Service is great too with some of the veteran waiters having a layer of unseen "Charisma" to them.

We got the 12 oz network striploin with a baked potato and the food was heavily under expectations. For a steak at this price it lacked flavour and quality nothing special about the baked potato it was completely plain and bland anyone could have cooked this meal. Food definitely wasn't worth the price for a "fancy" establishment. Better off going with a chain like Moxie's or the Keg. Although we had a reservation we had to wait an extra half an hour which added to our disappointment with the food.

Depending on what you order, you may want to come with an empty stomach - I ordered the prime rib, and it turned out to be a 24-ounce cut, with very little bone. A couple of people in our party ordered the Zorro cut, and it was even larger! Nevertheless, the food was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and there seemed to be ample parking. We spent about $100/person, including taxes and a fair bit to drink.

I recently dined at Zorro's Steakhouse, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. The menu offered a variety of steak options, and I ended up ordering the ribeye. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. However, I believe the steak could have had a bit more seasoning in it. I'm not really sure why this place is has such a cult like following. The rib steak was okay at best, the fried shrimp we got felt like it was from a Costco package and the baked potato felt like it came from Wendy's, it had no flavour. The service was alright and everyone seemed nice. I think we enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread the most. The pickles were a weird touch. I feel like if this meal was $400 for 4 instead of $700 for 4, I would have been okay with it but I'd go to keg 10/10 over this place any day.

I went to Zorro's for our company Christmas party and they really did not disappoint. The decor was a throwback to the '80s but it definitely works. If I had any complaint, it would be I didn't receive the correct silverware when I had my escargots. Having said that, they were very tasty and full of flavour. The lobster and steak was to die for the steak was a perfect medium rare and the lobster tail was huge and it melted in your mouth. It was a great time!

Went here for company dinner and wow, surely is fancy. Place is warm and cozy, had the scallops, smoked salmon, creasers salad for start and filet mignon for mains, ended with cheese cake. Visited for a company dinner. Everything was pretty great except I found the Caesar salad a little damp / wet. Had the fillet mignon with a side of fries. It came with a head of cooked broccoli and cut carrot medallions. Bacon was a little chewy - wish it had a little more sear to crisp it up more. Overall, it was a good meal. Fabulous!! Old school steakhouse. Best caesar salad I have ever had, made the old fashioned way, table side. Love their garlic bread. The filet mignon was done to perfection. The steak was amazing i got a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. I say try this place to see what great steak houses use to be. Staff was amazing place was clean.
