Sweet little gift shop tucked inside Japanese Village Plaza. I discovered it last year at the start of covid. It was the only shop that really embraced the new norm, with goods spread very neatly across their makeshift outdoor storefront. There’s all sorts of cute stuff: incense, clothes, ceramics, books, jewelry, anime posters, even plants. I took home this amazing bonsai that first day and since then, I come here whenever I feel like getting someone a unique gift, most of which are made in Japan and priced surprisingly low. Naoko, the owner, is gracious and helpful

It is very dissapointed. First I was very happy because the worker was very helpful to find the t-shirt size that I wanted to have. Then when I came back to my home, she charged more than doble prices. In fact, the charge was included the items I did not buy. Maybe it was mistake and maybe it was my fault too, because I did not check it. But at that time, I was so hurry to go back to the hotel. I recommended when you buy something there, check the recipt for yourself and for them, too.

Update! They survived the Covid lockdown and they are open! Thanks to weak yen, prices are #walletfrieny. please #shoplocally and support old school little Tokyo shops. —- I have been coming to this place every Holliday seasons to purchase Holiday gifts. The items are authentic (many from Japan - purchased by the owner) and the price is amazing. It is also very relaxing place to see many graphic arts. Love this place!

This shop is the best! Naoko is so sweet and I love her adorable Japanese items. I’ve purchased many gifts for friends and family here. Best of all she has a beautiful wishing tree outside! For only 50 cents you can add a wish to the colorful tree. I spent some time reading the wishes and they are so sweet, it made my day!

Great products at good prices, and a very friendly staff. My daughter and I come by here every time we are in Little Tokyo so I can get a new Bonsai tree, while she normally gets a new necklace. Very cool products. I would suggest checking it out!

So much cute things for a reasonable price. I would say get small Sanrio things here than the main Sanrio store if you want something affordable. The owner is super sweet and friendly. Great with kids.
