I’m all for supporting local businesses but this is one business I will not support. I purchased a dress from online and picked it up with no issue. But when I tried it on, I realized it just wasn’t right for me. I happen to live locally so I popped into the Gulch location to return it only to be told that it couldn’t be returned because it had been on sale when I bought it and sale items were final sale. But nowhere on my receipt did it mention that sale items were final sale nor did their website state that sale items were final sale (they have since added “Sale items are final sale” to their online purchases return policy). Another issue I have is nowhere was it mentioned that the purchase I was making was a final sale - not when I found the dress on their website, not when I added it to the cart and not when I was sent the receipt for the dress purchase. In order to find out that the sale item you are purchasing is a final sale, you have to navigate to their shipping and returns page only then to discover that sale items are final sale. Who actually does this before buying something online? Am I expected to check the shipping and returns policy on every website I shop at as opposed to the retailer being transparent about their policy and listing that an item is final sale on the item page? The last reason I will never shop here again is that I have called e.Allen THREE TIMES over a week and have left voicemails each time requesting a callback and have NEVER RECEIVED A CALLBACK. If this is the type of local business you wish to support, do you. But I won’t support a local business that doesn’t respect their customers. Nashville has plenty of beautiful, local retail shops from which to shop. Do yourself a favor and go there.

I was looking for something nice to buy my fiance, and was sent this store by her good friends. Upon walking in for the first time in what always feels like uncharted territory for a man in a women's store, I was greeted with a bright smile and treated with the utmost respect. The sales associates asked me what I was looking for, helped me stay in budget, and shared what was "trendy" and selling well in the store. I often feel uncomfortable shopping in a store where I think I'll be judged for asking silly questions, and the e.Allen team really helped me find the right pair of boots to order. I would absolutely go back again!

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. I visited the store on 11-1-19 and I will not be back. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by an extremely stuck up woman who looked me up and down with a fake smile on her face. I was hoping to find an outfit for a night out on the town but I was judged for my appearance and treated like garbage because of it. If you don’t have “the look” don’t even step foot in this place because the nasty looks and attitudes you get are not worth it. I’ll take my money elsewhere. **this was at the location in the Gulch in Nashville TN**

I absolutely love this boutique! I went into the store to find an outfit to wear for my birthday coming up but felt overwhelmed with all the clothes in the store. With it being the weekend the store was busy with customers but Samantha was so kind and offered to pick some options for me to try on. She took the time to help me find the PERFECT outfits for my birthday and was so delightful. She never made me feel like I was a burden to help when the store was full of customers. I highly recommend this boutique if you want great customer service and high quality brands.

Jayce created a custom shopping experience for my wife as a gift. Can't recommend enough! As a guy who knows nothing about clothes for women, I needed some help. When I reached out about a good XMas gift idea, the staff immediately said 'yes', and let us do a custom shopping experience as the store closed, to try on a ton of things, and buy an outfit. The wife loved it...recommend this for other guys looking for gifts. -- Also, seems very bachelorette party friendly. Would recommend if you're looking for that. - Can't recommend enough. What an awful experience. Visited this store today with my mom and sister, and as we entered, we were all given the “up-down”, and none of the employees greeted us. In our time in the store, the female employees stood at the front of the store with their arms crossed, offering zero help and staring customers down with dirty looks. Was interested in a couple of items, but will not be returning to this store nor providing my business after this encounter. (Location - 312 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN)

Staff was extremely disrespectful! I was trying on a few pieces of clothing. Apparently, the room I was in was reserved for another costumer. When I exited the fitting room I was confronted with dirty looks from an employee. As I walked away, she ripped the curtains open in an obnoxious and hasty manner to let another costumer inside. I was planning on ordering a dress online, but after this experience, absolutely not!

I am in the restaurant industry and had just left work when driving down the street my spotted something I loved hanging in the window of this dainty little boutique. It was perfect! My little dress. I was still in my work clothes and was definitely out of place but was greatest with amazing upright respect. Will be back in a few weeks to catch up on my new accessory, shoe and catch items! Thank you!

I live in Minnesota and almost exclusively shop at e.Allen via their website or in store when I'm down that way. The brands they carry are amazing, the store is so well curated, the 'buys' are always spot on and the customer service is amazing. I've sent plenty of friends their while visiting Nashville and they all have amazing things to say as well :) Can't wait for my next order or to pop into the store!

Visited for the 1st time to possibly purchase a pair of $56 earrings and I was completely underwhelmed. Not one of the three young ladies acknowledged me and I was the only one in the store. I guess their conversation with the security guard was more important. This was my 1st and last time walking through this establishments doors.

My friend and I were a bit disappointed in the greeting we got as we walked into e.Allen yesterday. Felt very much like we were in Pretty Woman being judged on how we looked as we entered the store. Tainted the rest of the time we spent in there. Had planned on buying a dress to wear that evening and left with nothing.

Gorgeous store with the best customer service. I live out of town and Samantha is so helpful with getting me clothes that fit my style. She will go out of her way to send me things she thinks I’ll like and suggesting pieces. So thoughtful and intentional and rare to find in the world we live in.

Bought a pair of commando pants there for 180$ . They ripped in one night of wearing and they wouldn’t return , refund , store credit .. NOTHING. Very upset with this customer service . Commando themselves told me their retailers would issue a refund . Not happy

Adorable and perfectly curated fashion. Loved everything from the accessories to the collectibles. Really impressed by their space and everyone on staff was warm and inviting. Was happy to visit during their reopening and enjoyed a free s’more with my purchase!

By far the best boutique in Nashville!! They have an amazing selection of high-end, amazing quality clothing for every style and occasion you can think of. The manager is extremely sweet and always has helped me with styling for special occasions!

I recently visited this store in the Gulch to get my wife something for Mother’s Day. The employees were extremely helpful in picking out appropriate items and sizes. It felt like I was on a personal shopping experience. Thank you all so much!

If there was an option to put 0 stars I would. There were four employees that stood at the front arms crossed staring all three of us up and down. March 28th at 1 pm. Why would I give my money to a place that can’t even say hi when we walk in?

Dropped in on our weekend visit to Nashville…. the selection was wonderful. Samantha was charming and incredibly helpful! She reminded me of a southern Audrey Hepburn!!! Will certainly come back!

Cozy boutique with a lot of cool trendy clothes. I bought a gorgeous green sparkly jacket. It was priced on the high end of the item. I love my jacket! It will always remind me of Nashville
