If I could rate this place a zero I would. I ordered through door dash and I spent 30$ on 3 items and waited roughly an hour for my food to arrive (my dasher was on time) and everything was inedible and I can't receive a refund because no one there would like to pick up their phone and I can't do it through door dash because i received the food and nothing was missing. I ordered: 1 beef empanada 1 order of chilequiles 1 order of enchiladas I would like to start this off by saying I would have rather had taco bell (and I'm saying this as someone who was born in Mexico) because it genuinely would have tasted 100x better than the small bit of food I was actually able to eat and it would have genuinely been a step up from what I got. The empanada was an abomination and literally vile it tasted like the meat had gone bad it was sour and extremely bitter and I literally gagged from one bite of it. Putting that aside the actual description of the empanada on door dash says "beef and cheese" the empanada was just plain beef so on top of it being inedible it's also not menu accurate at all and you will notice this is a running theme of my experience with this restaurant. The enchiladas were just sad they were never even given a discription on their door dash page but there was a picture and in this picture there was beautiful red beef enchiladas and obviously any normal person would assume what I'm ordering is at least going to look similar to the picture sadly you'd be mistaken what arrived was 3 uncooked plain cheese enchiladas filled with unmelted shredded cheese with raw onions on top. Lastly the chilequiles were pathetic i really genuinely feel that my 1yr old neice could make better food than this and she can't even write her name. They sent me a to go box of cold tortilla chips with un melted cheese and drizzled sour cream again this items description and also the photo weren't even remotely similar to each other the photo showed tortilla chips with red sauce and avacado with cheese sour cream and a beautiful runny fried egg sadly this restaurant is probably ripping these images of beautiful food just to mislead the public for profit. TLDR:Eat literally anywhere else save your money they are an insult to the beauty that is Mexican food.

I don’t normally leave reviews, because you never know what maybe going on in other peoples lives and you could have just caught someone/business on a bad day, but that isn’t the case with this restaurant. I was bartending here for a few weeks and there was friction and a lack of professionalism from the beginning. They lack the structure that is needed for a restaurant to run appropriately. They employee people that can not read, write or speak English, which makes providing exceptional service and servicing our customers more difficult. With everyone working there being related to one another there is a huge lack of professionalism and urgency. Buttt if you do go, the Birria Tacos are Bomb! That’s coming from a NYC’er, if you want chicken go for the Al Pastor Chicken is your next bet honestly, everything else is mediocre, the empanadas are disrespectful honestly.

Not a good experience today at lunch time. Located in Latta Arcade in uptown, one would think that the meals would be served rather quickly so we could get back to work. Instead we sat and waited, and waited, and waited. Asked several times for our meals, then finally asked to make meals as take-out. Still waited and was about to walk out when the bag with the meals showed up. Napkins, utensils?? Server had to go get these. More waiting. Finally returned to the office to eat our meals, nothing special at all. Containers not marked and tried sort them the best we can, and one meal was incorrect. Need I say more....

Went in tonight. Ordered a shriml taco to go.. paid with a $10 bill. (Will update review on taco after eating it. ) After waiting patiently and receiving the order ten minutes later, was then told that the reason I received no change back was because there was no change in the register. I could have paid card for my $7 taco. I tried to help the merchant by paying cash. And I normally tip regardless. To not be offered change / told about the no change BEFORE or asked if it was OK to leave a $3 tip or ask to apply the $3 towards a drink was wrong. That $3 lost them a customer. And clearly I won't be referring any customers to them. Did enjoy a drink from QCBC next door though. Great service there.

Decided to try a new place today, well being the only table there our waiter took so long to attend us, food was good, drinks were ok but service was horrible there was no one else but us two [adults and a kid.. don’t recommend:/ Asked two times for some limes and other things which were ignored and we didn’t get anything. DONT go to this place. The staff vibe is so weird. They are not friendly. It took 10 minutes before anyone greeted or gave me the menu. I ordered the lunch quesdilla and taco combo. They forgot to give me my rice. The combo didn't come with sour cream, Pico de Gallo or guacamole. Just plain! I had to ask for mild salsa. The attendant first said we dont have any but another employee stated they did. The food here is mediocre. As I was leaving, another customer stopped me and said he was irritated with the wait time. Ok service, friendly but slow and not overly attentive. Shrimp Taco was very good! My major complaint was that they did not have hot sauce. I can't wrap my head around that one. Everything is Really Good service was awesome. Stopped here for a late night taco and cocktails after visiting Merchant and Trade rooftop bar. The manager cleared a table for us immediately. We wanted to watch a football game they were showing. Staff was friendly and attentive. The tacos were great and the fresh guacamole was wonderful. Bathrooms were clean. Such a fun experience watching the game and the night life! Thanks so much!

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. It honestly felt like a fever dream. We left our margaritas and cheese dip untouched. The margs tasted like a glass of sweet and sour mix. The cheese dip tasted worse than ballpark nacho cheese. It was almost like a mix of sour and sweet cheese. This is the one review I have ever left on google I just wanted to save others from wasting $60 here. Not to mention the atmosphere and staff was just odd. Save yourselves!! We ended up here on new year's eve around 9 pm so needless to say it was jumping. They were playing Latin dance music and people were feeling good and dancing! We had the chicken nachos and they were very good! Great quality ingredients. Seemed Iike they only had 1 server because we had to stop him when we needed something. It still didn't take long though before we got our food.

Incredible food! We got cheese enchiladas, Street corn bowl, Al pastor quesadilla, and chorizo queso. I get cheese enchiladas at every Mexican restaurant I go to, these were some of the best. The tortillas were perfect, and I love that they were topped with cotija cheese, onion, cilantro, and avocado. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh. 5/5 we will be returning!

I was pretty excited to have a Mexican food spot right in the Latta Arcade but I’m better off walking up the street to Que Onda. The quesadilla was decent, but it’s pretty darn bold to look me in the face and charge me $6.50 for stale chips and salsa that looks and tastes like it came out of a bottle for 35¢/serving. It’s neither difficult nor expensive to make decent quality salsas even if you buy cheapo ingredients. A little effort would be nice if you’re gonna rob me blind on salsa.

As a mexican I approve the food taste and quality. The Birria Quesadilla is ultra delicious ! I came here after a jazz concert at the Bechtler I was a bit hesitant due to some nonsense reviews but I'm glad I came here. My beer was served immediately and my food came out real fast as well. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm around the area.

I recently visited Mucha Mucha, and while I enjoyed some aspects of my meal, it was underwhelming overall. The atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable, and the service was courteous and efficient. However, the food did not quite meet my expectations; some dishes were tasty, while others fell short. In addition, I thought the portion sizes were a little small for the prices. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but I've had better Mexican food elsewhere in Charlotte.

Just don't even try. They charge you 5 dollars for ONE small burnt empanada which taste and also looks like you can get at the 7/11 up the road. The nachos i ordered were the same (7/11 quality) with mushy breaded frozen shrimp. All overpriced. I would rather eat at taco bell to be totally blunt When I called and told them the issues with the food they smelled not to care.

Delicious mexican food! Shrimp and al pastor tacos were amazing and a good size. Shrimp burrito was also really good! They get their liquor license 9/23 so can't wait to come back! It's nice to have a latin spot in the French Quarter.
