Jaza’Allahu Kheiran Mufti Rasheed Al-Qasmi for all the efforts and concerns he has for the Muslim community at large and particularly in Orleans. With his efforts and concerns this Masjid alhamdulillah is open for 5 daily prayers and so many children are memorizing the noble Qur’an and so many of them Masha’Allah have completed the hifdh and are leading Traweeh prayers with beautiful voices. When ever I enter this masjid subhana’Allah I feel peace and tranquility. It reminds me of masjid Annabye with all the activities (أعمال) taking place in it. This masjid is running with the blessings of Allah SWT and the support of some brothers and sisters, may Allah SWT reward them all with Jannatu’lferdaws Insha’Allah. When all the masajids are closed due to COVID-19, masjid Darul Uloom stayed open by respecting all the instructions given by the Ottawa Health Organization and the authorities. Alhamdulillah, we are still praying Isha, taraweeh prayers and Fajr salat with duaa Al-Qunoot with the blessings of Allah SWT. Wassalamu alaykum waramatu’Allah wabarakatuh.

Asalam Aliakom Wa Rahmat ul a Wa Barakatahu As a devoted follower of Dar ul Uloom Had an issue in which was going through a turmoil experience and wanted to discuss it with a senior. Knowing what a dedicated person Mufti Rasheed is in listening to people’s queries and having said that, takes the time to thoroughly guide them. I had contacted him not knowing that he may or may not be available to listen. He replied,as was prior committed to a wedding invitation, shall get back to me as soon as he can. As to his word he contacted me few hours later. Was absolutely blown away with such gratitude and efforts he put in, listening for two whole hours 11pm to 1am addressing the matter with utmost respect like a true professional was extremely impressive. I salute to his continuous efforts he puts in, neglecting his own family but takes pride in completing his work seriously,motivating people who go through life’s hardships, finding solutions and therefore bringing them at ease. This is an excellent addition in the Orleans community, I can say for this markaz that big things in small package, masha allah in limited space this markaz providing five times salat, juma salat, taraweeh, eid prayers, teaching (tajweed, hifz, aalim course etc), counselling. Almost everything except body wash and storage that’s why management trying there best to get new bigger place to provide all necessities, for the same reason they are looking financial contribution from all of us and insha Allah community will answer the call. Unlike limited space imam of that place has big heart and very welcoming and even in first meeting anyone will find him very friendly, respectful and dedicated, if anyone haven’t visit there yet I will suggest please check out this place and meet with imam and listen his views.

Darul Uloom has been continuing to provide services to the community when all other Masaajid have been closed. Alhamdulillah, all the safety and health guidelines are being maintained and followed. I would like to thank everyone for their donations to this masjid, so that they can continue to serve the community. I would also like to thank all the volunteers who are putting themselves at risk for the betterment of the community. This Masjid has taken the lead during a tough time, when no masaajid were operating, and this will be remembered and will remain in our hearts forever. I highly encourage everyone to support this Masjid’s project so they can continue to take the lead in the capital region and serve the community to the best of their ability.

I am so impressed with the way this mesjid is run. I come to this place every day. It is amazing to see how everyone is conducting themselves at this difficult time. Everyone is following the recommendations of maintaining physical distancing, sanitizing their hands and wearing masks. The mesjid even provides masks and mats for those who have forgotten to bring them. I feel so safe when I am at this place. Thank you everyone, especially Mufti Rasheed for the great services. As a sister new to the City of Ottawa, I was looking for a mosque that was helpful and had a great community. SubhanAllah everytime I call, they answer here. Any question I have, they provide me helpful resources. I make dua that Allah SWT blesses the people at this mosque immensely, Ameen. It is a super welcoming space for sisters who need help with any sort of advice and every question is without judgment and I feel comfortable talking to them as they are here to support you as their sister for the sake of Allah SWT. I moved to Orléans a year ago, and discovered this beautiful Masjid, I still remember the first day I went there with my son. The Imam gave him a T-shirt with the name of the masjid and a mug and chocolate. My son were very happy. It’s a small action that makes a big difference, my son and me will never forget that day. I attended salat Al-Aid, even with limited place, 10 people by salat because of COVID restrictions, They were able to hold 29th salat, imagine the effort deployed to make this happen and serve and make happy around 300 people.

I was a student of this masjid. I have enrolled in this masjid last year to learn the Qur'an as well as Deen -duniya and traditions. It was my best decision in my life to coming here, I have made great excellence in Qur'an reading and hifz all thanks to the mufti of this masjid he guided me and support me mentally as well help me to make good decisions in my life , moreover because of him and other fellow members of this masjid I acquired a wealth of Islamic knowledge along it. I am so happy that this Masjid is open during this pandemic, allowing only 10 persons at a time with prior registration for daily Salah as well as Friday Salah. Mashallah, they are following all health and safety protocols ensuring everyone wear masks, bring their own prayer mat and maintain social distance during prayer and while entering/exiting. I salute the administration and dedicated team of volunteers who are helping run this masjid smoothly and safety. May Allah swt reward everyone involved in organizing prayers.

Assalamu Aleikum I am a student at Darul Uloom. Since joining the madrassa last year, it has had great effects on my life; the first one being a great enviroment where Islamic principles are taught. Secondly, the wonderful teachers have taught me a great amount of Islamic knowledge that has positively impacted my day-to-day activites. To add to that, my Qur'an reading skills have greatly improved since joining Darul Uloom. I will highly recommend Darul Uloom to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of Islam.

MashAllah! I have never met any Mufti who is willing to go above and beyond to help as much as Mufti Rasheed has helped me. He answered all my questions and made sure I understood. He even break downs the problem in daily life meanings so it is easier to understand to general public. Never forces Islam on anyone and always welcomes even the mundane questions. In case he doesn't know the answer then he calls back with an answer! MashAllah! I highly recommend his expertise.

I have been visiting Darul Uloom for past two years. I found spiritually refreshed each time I visit the place. The community is very friendly and welcoming. Jummah prayers are very special to me and I found it is well organized from parking to Khutbas especially choosing topics are worth mentioning. During this unprecedented period all hygiene measures and social distancing are taken seriously and applied regularly to prevent and keep running the place smoothly.

Mufti Rasheed has done an incredible job of bringing a dream of Islamic knowledge, advice and guidance come true. Darul Uloom is a place of compassion for all! Darul Uloom has great hospitality and a very kind volunteer staff! They are able to facilitate multiple prayers throughout the day, while in accordance with the Covid restrictions/guidelines. Everyone is following the rules, such as bringing their own prayer mat, sanitizing, wearing mask and maintaining social distancing. I love their dedication in providing for the Muslim community!

I am glad that Dar ul uloom follows strict health and safety protocol during these times (covid). I have not seen a single exception. Infact, i have been visiting the place since almost 3 years and even if i mistakenly forget to register or any other thing, i am denied entry. This shows the level of care that is being taken to ensure everyone's safety. Well done.

It offers 5 daily salats and several Jumua'ah prayers during COVID MaShaAllah. They're following the guidelines under Mufti Rasheed's supervision. I've been going to the masjid pre-pandemic and also during the pandemic for jumaah, tarawih, and Eid prayers. The Imam, his staff, and tahfiz students are very welcoming. They follow strict health guidelines and protocols and the masjid is very well kept and clean. Also, there's a fair amount of parking available too.

This is a wonderful masjid and i recommend it. It is a wonderful masjid to perform salat/worship. We are in deed please to have such a wonderful place in the community. My family and i are very please with the masjid and its administrators. We are very grateful for the many services that are offered at the masjid.

Alhamdullilah I’ve been going to Darul Uloom frequently for salah and sessions and it is a great place. It’s clean and organized. Their team members are very kind and cooperative. They offer Quran classes for boys and girls. MashaAllah the have tajweed halqahs and learning seasions for the adults. Great place!

Alhamdulilah, safety precautions are the best..place is huge but very less crowd for namaz due to covid-19..most of the people are from Orleans and you do have parking space even if it gets filled up.. Donation will be for sure helpful for maintenance and development of the masjid.May Allah protect us all.

Great place. Offers weekday and weekend Quran classes. Also facilitates 5 daily prayers, jumuah prayer, taraweeh etc. Very neat and tidy. Men and women have their own sections. Great musalla to go to.

Daryl-Uloom Masjid is the best place to worship god and also help kids to memorize the Quraan. My son has improved his Quraan reading because of Darul-Uloom Quraan teachers who are dedicated 100%.

There is no doubt Darul ulum is the best place for learning quran for kids and Islamic education in Ottawa. I really like the strategies they use with the kids with full of kindness and love.
