Very very pathetic environment,poor hospital services and rude I'll mannered junior Drs and nursing staff , highly not recommended,they are the ones charging more and serving less,I recently got my Chachi Surgery that was even ony own recommendation we went there for Surgeon only but I am highly disappointed ,there is no concept of quality services even the so called ICU is working Below the belt,after every 05 minutes the ICU staff gives you a slip and ask you to bring it from pharmacy that is much hastle in itself there is no concept of comfort like total package at the end if you are paying for everything as a private patient ,you have to bring every minor thing after some time like gloves, Sticking tapes and i.vs ..... Room is not upto the mark,there is one microwave for 10 rooms available outside the rooms ,room cleaniness is average,no key provided to you for the room and junior Drs pgrs have no sense how to behave and respect they misbehave and scream at you for no reason ,the duty Pg trainee Dr from surgery misbehaved and screamed at me later apologizing that is the why they are trained by senior drs.....the shift incharge nurse screamed at me ..... I am highly traumatized by the incident and disappointed,I want to file a case against administration and I warn you all not to go there....

یہ 500 بستروں کا ٹیچنگ ہسپتال ہے۔ ہسپتال میں تمام سہولیات موجود ہیں لیکن عملے کا رویہ پہلے دن سے ہی اچھا نہیں ہے۔ ہر وقت یہ محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ عملے کو مریضوں کے ساتھ بدتمیزی کرنے کی اجازت ہے۔ لاہور اور پنجاب بھر سے ہر سال 600,000 سے زائد مریض علاج کرتے ہیں۔ یہ پرائیویٹ سیکٹر میں شہر کا مصروف ترین ہسپتال ہے۔ . اتنی بڑی تعداد میں مریضوں کو خوش اسلوبی اور موثر طریقے سے معیاری علاج فراہم کرنے کی صلاحیت ان کے نقطہ نظر کے مطابق کامیابی کی کلید ہے لیکن میرے مطابق انہیں اچھی اور معیاری سروس فراہم کرنے کا بھی سوچنا چاہیے۔ . میرا اپنا تجربہ ہے کہ ان کے پاس خاص طور پر چلڈرن ایمرجنسی وارڈ میں کچھ انتہائی غیر پیشہ ور ڈاکٹر ہیں۔ . انہیں تمام سہولیات میسر ہیں لیکن رویہ ہمیشہ ان کا مسئلہ ہے۔ . شالیمار ہسپتال 1978 میں صرف 50 بستروں کے ساتھ کھولا گیا تھا لیکن وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ یہ ختم ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔ . یہ صرف 6 محکموں کے ساتھ کھولا گیا تھا لیکن آج کل یہ ایک بہت بڑا نیٹ ورک ہے جس میں جدید ترین سہولیات موجود ہیں۔ . ان کے پاس بہت سارے ڈونرز اور دوست ہیں جو مدد فراہم کرتے ہیں لیکن صرف چند ہی معاملات ایسے ہوتے ہیں جب وہ کسی غریب مریض کی مدد کرتے ہیں۔ ہر وقت وہ زیادہ چارج کر رہے ہیں اور بہت کما رہے ہیں۔ . ہسپتال میں سہولیات بہت ہیں، ڈاکٹرز بھی اچھے ہیں لیکن انہیں معیاری خدمات پر توجہ دینی چاہیے۔

Worst experience! The staff is highly uncooperative even they need to learn the manners of speaking. Especially, Dr Amir, who used to be in the Emergency department, is a rude, unprofessional, and uncooperative guy. I am curious and feeling pathetic about how he became a doctor and who approved him to be there in the first place. Receptionists and lab attendants seem like an authority on life and death. I had a patient of Dangi in my arms, and they asked me to pay 300RS first if my sister was dying. I requested the receptionist to give me a pass. They called it "perchi," and she said, "Kho gi to bunaon gi na." She pronounced it in a way that I made a mistake to take my sister there. One doctor who was nice there is Dr Ali. He has manners of speaking and helped us out. Dr Amir is more interested in video gaming than attending to his patients. He literally said, "Pta nai khan se ese log a jaty hain." I wonder how he was appointed as a doctor!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, the lab attendant who used to sit in a lab other than the emergency lab is like another god on the face of this earth. Never visit that hospital ever. It can cause much anxiety rather than cure.

These 2 stats are for cleanliness because everything else is non-existant in this hospital and they dont accept insurance in Emergency (which should be a crime) I visited after an accident and showed them my insurance card which has emergency coverage but they simply denied. Also I have Jubilee Insurance and Shalimar Hospital is on their panel. When I agreed to pay and got to the trauma ward 3 ward boys were sleeping there on all three of the beds. I woke them up and waited for a doctor to come for 45 mins after getting my wounds cleansed and getting painkiller and when he came he said it will be 16000 for the 2 stitches. I said I have insurance but he said he doesn't know anything about it. He started touching my wound and making it bleed and started saying that I need stitches right now. I simply denied got up and went to Services Hospital. I went in and was free with stitches in 30 mins. Shalimar Hospital is the worst Hospital in Lahore that I have visited.

I regret to say that my experience with this clinic's doctor, "Dr. Maliha Amjad," was highly unsatisfactory. Not only did she display a complete lack of responsiveness and empathy, but she also failed to meet her initial commitment of staying in touch and addressing any questions or concerns, despite my willingness to pay for her services. To exacerbate the situation, after several attempts to reach out, she spoke very unprofessionally and rudely. This behavior was not only unbecoming of a healthcare professional but also deeply unsettling. In light of these circumstances, I find it necessary to express my expectation for an apology. I believe it is crucial for Dr. Amjad to acknowledge and rectify her behavior. I caution anyone considering seeking healthcare from her to think twice, as her conduct reflects poorly on the clinic's commitment to patient care. I had hoped for a better experience, but it seems humanity is a rare trait in her case.

Worst hospital with extremely poor, illiterate and brutal staff.... Today, doctor recommend ECG to my mother and exact 8:05 pm we were in emergency, we waited 10 to 15 min but Nobody serve us, I requested in reception "plz sir ECG jisny krni ha kindly usko bulwa dyn" he listen but no one take attention, after 30min (8:30) still no one come and attend my patient. I requested the staff (ECG operator) he said "meri shift 9:00pm py start hogi ma abi ni kr skta" I insist him again, he replied " mere pas mask hi ni ha ma ni kr skta" I got furious on his lame excuse, than one of staff boy placed ECG machine and start working, at last ECG have been done at 9:15. This the condition of SHALIMAR HOSPITAL EMERGENCY where all patiens have an emergency situation, all required treatment ASAP but sadly, they're not HUMAN, there is no humanity, they are doing there business, they're LOOTERS.

Please don't go there for covid treatment, the doctors and nurses there do not treat patients nicely، old age people get depression and I have not seen any old age patient getting recovered، all passed away due to negligence of doctors and nurses۔ they don't allow you to enter the ward، doctor visit after 2،3 hours and nurses don't bother what's happening with patient۔ they have set protocol and they do not change that۔ inhumane behavior of staff، the patients who are 80+ and they are panic due to their condition and being kidnapped in a ward، they tie their hands and feet so that they could sit / sleep without disturbance۔ that too after getting too much money۔ if your old mother or father is in covid please don't go there۔

In Emergency admitted patient (Maternity), no one attended my wife till 5-6 hrs. In OPDs, most of the doctors specially Orthopedics/ENT etc, doesn't listen to patient and explain the diagnosis in proper way. Once again, I visited in the emergency with baby complain Bailey pain and Vomiting. They provided the treatment with Risek drip and spasler syrup but the pain was still there. In spite this, Emergency asked me to go home and no I went Fatima's Memorial Hospital and in testing they diagnosed the Acute Viral Hepatitis A. There should be a professional doctors, who can provide the better treatment. The hospital staffs are good in just Private treatment and that should be same for General treatment as well.

Several issues need to be addressed. 1. Being a Private Setup they are not up to the mark as they have canceled my appointment from a day designated to another day/date without any excuses. 2. There is understaffing for too much patient flow. 3. They don't have a gun thermometer to check the temperature of patients instead in a private clinic they are using traditional Thermometers for every person. 4. They are not providing any File to the patient at the start instead they give us a slip and Blood pressure etc has been mentioned on the slip. 5. No person/Assistant can guide you to your appointed room. 6. After getting a private appointment we still have to wait.

Worst experience in comparison of all private sectors, you are paying enough but still treated like a third class dispensary. Management and staff is ill mannered they don't know how to treat who is standing in front of them specially the people who are sitting in front desk of PRIVATE CLINIC. A huge crowd were waiting for getting token and there was only one lady out of 3 to cater them all. No proper system to provide information about doctors accouding to main categories. I would rate them in minus. The hospital is that bad. Don’t visit it especially for gynea. The gynaecologists who are on training or i guess on house job behave as they are doing some kind on ehsan on you by checking you when actually it’s their job to do that. They made my birth experience worst. Threw me in corona ward right after my c section. Didn’t let me be with my baby. Left me there without any medication and treatment. I literally wanted to die. I begged them for pain killers. The pain I suffered is beyond words. Please don’t go there.

Extremely pathetic, discouraging and scary experience. We took our diabetic brother for uncontrolled high sugar levels... Consistently showing above 400, 450.. They took him in and within few hours discharged him with same sugar levels.... No known reason... no empathy, no cooperation, no guidance at all.... Patient and families are most vulnerable when they go to the hospital in such situations... Extremely disappointing unfortunately. If it was possible I wud give them rating in minus for playing with the life of a diabetic.

Shalimar Hospital is non governmental hospital which is run and maintained by LCCI (Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries). The hospital also has a medical college which is integrated with the hospital building. Formerly the hospital was known as BHT - Businessman Hospital Trust. This hospital has almost all medical facilities, IPD, OPD and private Consultant clinics. Normal routine check up fee is Rs. 300 and consultant fee is Rs. 3000 (as on April 2023).

Worst experience! We had been admitted as private patients here but got services even worst then the government/public sector. We were dragged late nights/ early mornings for test samples and were sent to pharmacies 1000 times in a day for even normal saline too. No service was provided to us. Paid hefty amount only to get nothing in the end. ICU's are pathetic. We just came here for Khawaja Azim sb otherwise would never come here again!

Went to head of ENT, Dr. Saeed Gohar. Found him to have terrible bedside manner. He was curt, abrasive and uninterested in giving his advise or medical opinion. He couldn’t wait to get rid of us fast enough, which was strange as he had no other patients in the waiting room. Everyone else was there for the junior doctors. Opt for the other doctors. Most of the time the reception staff shows rudeness if someone asks anything twice...look like fed up as if they are working without pay... The general out door doctor's fee is ok but the fee to consult a private doctor is quiet high. Think if u want to admit your patient here,as the hospital is quite expensive. It is really good hospital with all the advanced medical facilities. It is also supported by one of the most upgraded laboratory. Wheel chairs and stretchers are also available in abundance. It's a very good hospital. Doctors are very caring and loving. They have a lot of experience. They treat patients very nicely. There are many medical stores around the hospital. There is a test lab too inside the hospital. There is a very fine café inside the hospital 24/7. Therefore, there is always a lot of rush in the hospital.

I recently had an excellent experience at Shalamar Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The Doctor took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and the treatment options available, and he made sure I was comfortable with the course of action we decided on.

Good Hospital for a average emergency 1st aid but not a complete emergency also a expensive emergency. And outdoor patient department management is good also paramedical staff and cleaning staff are good...but the Doctor in outdoor patient department are very attracted and have only 1 minutes for you.

My overall experience at Shalamar Hospital was good. Staff was cooperative. Laboratory is seems to be very upgraded and never less than the renowned hospital of Lahore for medical tests. Environment is neat and clean. Little improvement is needed to facilitate more patients in OPD section.
