Location of this railway station is very important for Karachi as it is first stop for all important trains entering the city. It should be the last stop for all trains (not now for all) leaving the city too so people living outskirts will not travel back into the city when leaving it. This station has reservation office plus special reservation quota for travelers starting travel from Landhi for countrywide routes. Building and platform of this station are not in a good condition. Staff is unfriendly like all over the the country in Railways. Funny (for staff) and brutal (for visitors) thing of this station is that you cannot buy platform entry tickets from outside or entrance. Instead you have to enter and pass all tracks and platforms of the station on foot to reach that special office which can issue you platform entry tickets. If you failed to buy it and caught without having it, you must be charged with a big fine (or bribe if you have offer-n-negotiation skills)

I was glad to walk around and see trains moving. Calm and relaxed old station reminds 2 decades old memories. It has old iron bridge which quality material that didn’t damage much . Some trees are there old ones brings relaxing feelings . Local trains are available here to west and north side. Parking seems average. Mostly outside people use it for commuting to different cities. Karachi administrator doesn’t encourage people , bring awareness among masses to stop busses and start trains. This can save time, fuel, and a lot of hidden cost. I hope Karachi circular train services start one day to relax people, reduce traffic and improve infrastructure..

Landhi railway station is one of three major railway stations in Karachi, Pakistan. It is situated in the east end of the city near Quaidabad in Landhi and serves as a major stop along the Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line. Landhi Town is a large industrial town in the eastern part of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is bordered by the Faisal Cantonment and Shah Faisal Town to the north across the Malir River, Bin Qasim Town to the south and east, and Korangi Town to the west.

Station needs to be clean and there should be proper sitting arrangements for passengers in winter and summer. Because Trains always late 1 to 2 honours. I booked my ticket online Train's timing was 8 am but it came late for two hours. And it is so cold weather. I am seeing children and Buzrigs (Old Men). How they can be comfortable in this season. Government of Pakistan should make arrangements for all seasons and rainy season.

11 Dec 2020: Passed by while visiting 3rd National Guava Festival at MGH Guava Valley,  Dhool village stop by ATDCP. BB Health Tours. Again passed by on 14 Dec 2020 while returning to Karachi Cantt Station. This Station deserves better than what and how it stands but the permanent negligence by the Sindh and Federal Governments has only seen complete disaster of each and every structure.

One of the weirdest thing I have seen, you have to enter from the main gate but for ticket purchase, you have to cross the overhead bridge and again return to main platform. Totally waste of time, if you are in hurry to catch the train, you prefer to board into the train without purchasing ticket …

Most of the time, trains with Business classes do not halt here. Very few benches for sitting. No electricity. Also the ticket counter is on the other side of the main entrance with four rail tracks in between so you would have to cover a long distance for purchasing tickets.

Pathetic enterance, total dark because of poor lighting and no proper sitting or waiting rooms available, always prefer to take your trains from Karachi Cantt or else you'll stuck in worst traffic route and even worse situation at the station itself.

Average size railway station. Other than non stop trains, all have a stopover here. Most frustrated thing is about online can service is not available here, as there a a challan which need to be paid by driver at the time of entrance.

Despite being a major railway station in Karachi, it does not look like it. Tuck shops and stalls are less than should be, restrooms are dirty, coolies are treacherous, police is sleepy and railway officials are invisible.

Big station for the service of peoples but not provide good facilities to public when a rail stop here for short time at that time there is very big problem for people when he pick the train

Its good not very populated neither rush but one thing you have to hurry cause train not stay more then 2 mint especially night coaches train parking available

It's good for taking off from train if its near your home. The train stops for few minutes so you have to get ready earlier than reaching the station.
