It’s the historical railway station of Karachi, there are some railway’s high officials offices and fist station of down country side and hub of railway cargo mostly trains take start from this station and it’s located in the heart of commercial hub but there is no facilities for passengers even house keeping conditions are very poor no hygienic food available over there.

Karachi City Railway Station  formerly McLeod Station, is one of two main Karachi railway terminals along with the Karachi Cantonment station. Karachi City Station is located on I. I. Chundrigar Road, adjacent to Habib Bank Plaza, in Karachi, Pakistan. This station is headquarters of the Pakistan Railways - Karachi Division.

Station needs some repair work as this is a historic building and should not be in such dire condition. Information, ticketing booking booth & other staff are fairly cooperative. Ample parking space available. Now very few trains depart from this station as most of the trains starts their journey from Cant Station.

No separate counter for women, the senior citizen queue isn't actually for senior citizens at all. Service is also incredibly slow. Might be a good idea to have a separate information desk, instead of having people line up at the reservation counters for information and bookings.

Change is inevitable! Bring this change as soon as possible. Railway is still living in colonial era. Complete change of culture & mindset required. First of all discipline the staff to be on time and serve the public courteously.

Decent office with helpful staff. I went there for a couple of times for ticket booking and cancellation. The right time to come here is between 10am and 3pm

This station is special train Hazara Express always i going to our village i am coming City station at a spacific time and then train stop at terminal.

if you are going for reservation, you should reach as early as possible. official booking timings for government-owned trains starts from 8 AM.
