Okay ! I am so thrilled there's a book store like this exists in Kathmandu. You will come across lots of sections of genre; Fiction,Non-fiction,Self-help,Fitness,Meditation,Finance,Fashion,Arts and so on. Plus there's a Manga as well. And they sell International seller's too which is a bingo. This place is like a Hogwarts of books. The store is kinda hidden from main road Gairidhara. There's enough space for parking. Only thing that I wasn't satisfied with how books were disorganised and stuffed at one rack. The customer service wasn't enough, they do need to hire more experienced staff. Also, they need to put chairs for people to sit down and review books before purchase. But I am happy that this place exists. I will be heading there to buy books from now on because it's a great store for bookworms and I am one of them.

Quite a collection of books. You can find most of the books you’re seeking for. Spacious and ample free parking. The books are categorized according to the genre and authors which make it easily findable. Plus the trendy and new releases are kept in a different section. You can either browse yourself or ask an employee to assist you, they’re super nice and friendly .You’ve to bring your own carry-bag or pay for a paper-bag. You do get a free bookmark per book. The only downside is that it’s a bit costly compared to the other book stores but the book’s quality are top-class compared to many other bookstores.

This book shop is close to our office. Over a month ago, I requested any books by the author John Gray. The assistant said they would get back to me with information so I left my phone number. Unfortunately I received no call. When I went to follow up the request today, the store manager said I was being disrespectful because I asked him to speak to me and tell me what had happened. He spoke to my colleague in Nepali and ignored me completely. You can imagine my shock when he turned on me. Restraint and self-possession are characteristics of a good manager, plus a genuine willingness to help others.

They recently opened their store at Kathmandu; their main store is in Pokhara. The store is not yet completely done; they are still working on it, but the staff will help you find the books you are looking for. I was looking for a physical version of Bird by Bird for a long time and could not find it anywhere in Kathmandu. I finally found it here. They have all the popular books and bestsellers that you will not find anywhere else in Kathmandu. Highly recommended.

I'd ordered a book from the website and it had arrived in the perfect condition and time. Thus, impressed with the packaging and service I decided to visit the store personally. I was very disappointed. The customer service was horrible. The staff were unresponsive and behaved like it took money to talk. I concede there were books of varied genre, but if customers are made to feel this unwelcome, I'm never going back.

This place is a paradise for readers. They have a wide selection of books from various genres. The staffs are very polite and well behaved. They even offer you 5-10% discounts on books so it is a good deal. However, I recommend them to extend their section on Nepali literature. The options were very limited.

This is a nice bookshop with lots of popular titles and boxsets. Prices are lower than in some of the other bookshops around Kathmandu. Unfortunately I was charged at the register a lot more than the prices indicated on the books which I didn’t realise till I added them up at home. Very disappointed.

On the positive side, they have a wide variety of books to choose from. However, the prices are undeniably on the higher side. It's the kind of place you'd only want to buy from if you're on the hunt for a rare book that's not available anywhere else.

Nice and cozy book store. Two floors. Have comfortable sofas to rest. Great collection of books that are neatly arranged according to genres and subgenres. But the cost is high, the staff was also seemingly reserved to give discounts during dashain.

Favourite bookstore to visit. I have bought multiple books from both Pkr and Ktm stores. The staffs are always helpful and kind. There is a vast selection of books to choose from. The website is really helpful too. A great place to visit

Best choices and much wider range than most book shops in Nepal. Highly recommend this place also for international guests and tourists. You can find pretty much everything here. And a little tip: the incense they sell is great!

Books here are expensive. I love that this store is here but I think stores like this is not helping a normal child to love books. Stores like this should find a way to encourage our lower middle class kids to read as well.

They are renovating the place with a spacious interior and wide selection of books, my only wish is the staffs should be more gratifying in offering discounts rather than the buyers always asking for it.

The book shop is under construction and it is totally fine, but the customer service was downright unwelcoming. If the customer service remains the same way, this place is better left unvisited!

There were all kind of books a gem of place for book lovers. The store is not that big but the book management is decent the prices are a bit expensive compare to the online and other shops.

New books are slightly worn out because people come to read books in the store. We can find brand new books that are sealed and never been used before for the same price in other places.

Situated in Baluwatar, Booksmandala offers a sorted range of books in including used books at just Rs . 250. It is one of my most preferred book stores in Kathmandu.

Have had a long relation from the store at Pokhara to the store at Kathmandu. The store offers various genre of books. And people here are quite friendly.

There is a wide variety of books and they have a newly opened cafe. The food and drinks were fresh but the price was on the expensive side.
