Nobu's Tropical Bar Revolucion is a fantastic place where locals and gaijin mingle. Staff is multi-lingual, and the small balcony on the 8th floor has a great view. There's no room to dance, but it definitely happens anyway (usually to last decade's American top pop chart hits...prepare yourself for some Lady Gaga and Pitbull). I've spent many weekends here, and aside from the occasional raged-out American military "bro" who's forgotten where he is...the place is almost always a good time for all. One of my favorite features is the Jenga game on the bartop; each block is covered with the names and well-wishes of several years of visitors from around the world. Kampai, Nobu-San!

We stopped in on a Monday night for a few drinks and felt instantly welcome. Nobu is a nice guy with great English and he not only slings great drinks, but makes even tourists feel like locals while sitting at his bar. Wonderful place! We’ll be sure to stop by again the next time we are in town.

The bartender is so friendly and funny! This was a really friendly and welcoming bar for us to visit while we were in Hiroshima. We had a great conversation with the bartender and the other patrons. We would recommend this bar to any other travellers to Hiroshima.

As a stupid American looking for a place to drink in this area, it was hard to find an actual bar rather than something akin to cabaret clubs. Casual, charming and a great way to start your night (or end).

Great little nugget for having a cold one with the locals both Japanese and foreign. Nobu, the owner and Ed, his main bartender are friendly and always helpful to all. My place of choice when I'm out.
