Was looking for a nice speakeasy to enjoy a cocktail with my friend. After doing some research online, i stumbled upon Bar Alegre... I was curious and went for it. Was hard to know where to go on the street, saw the billboard sign with Bar Alegre on it, ventured through a hallway, went up 3 flights of stairs, and saw the entrance. Opened mini door and WOW was it nice! Very quiet with only one other patron, very small but cozy. It felt like a special place. The bar tender and owner was amazing at making us try different tasty drinks, and we were lucky enough to see the "extra" that the room had to offer.... Netherless to say that I would go back there in a hearthbeat and so would all my friends that went on the adventure with me! Cheers and enjoy ! I sure did

Sublime cocktail experience! This hidden cozy cocktail bar is hidden on the 3F behind a half door, but the experience is leagues taller. Our host made not just cocktails but a creative, touching and genuine experience for my Girl and I. From the presentation to the tastes, this place is on point. The owner even hand carved an ice diamond for my girlfriend to serve her Japanese ice wine. If you are in Hiroshima for even a few hours, and enjoy superb service and craft cocktails, I recommend hitting Bar Alegre! 5 stars is not enough!

Fantastic bar, serving cocktails on par with what you would get in some of the best bars in Tokyo and Osaka. I ordered a whiskey sour and the bartender made a recommendation for a matcha whisky sour and it was fantastic! It was also beautiful. They also host guest bartenders from some of our favorite bars in Kyoto and Osaka. So follow their Instagram account to keep up with the happenings. The speakeasy side of the bar is also really cool!

1. Best cocktails I have had ever. Amazing quality infused with fresh ingredients and also localised and unique. 2. The staff are incredibly courteous, welcoming, friendly and professional. 3. The design and atmosphere of the place is very rustic and personal. Overall, I loved this place and highly recommend it if you enjoy cocktails and are in the Hiroshima area.

This was by far the best bar we visited during the whole of our 3 week holiday to Japan The man who owns the bar is very friendly and makes great cocktails. He also has a great selection of Whisky. The decor is very interesting and unique yet feels original, and the tiny door to enter is a great novelty for tourists I would very highly recommend visiting this bar

The bartender really knows what he is doing. Unique flavors and ingredients (some are home made) make for very original cocktails that are well balanced. He also serves some classics if you don’t like adventurous cocktails. Very friendly service and a nice chat. Great experience. Highly recommended.

SUCH a cool bar! Don't be put off when you see the tiny door, just bow and go through it to a sophisticated cocktail haven. Lots of local ingredients and smart twists on classics, with a long line of bottles of home-made tinctures and extracts infusing along the bar to get your curiosity going. Very classy indeed.

This is truly a hidden gem! There is mini door to get into it which makes it so magical. They don't speak Spanish but know some words! It's so cute and amazing. But the best of all are the cocktails!! There are so well done!!

Great drinks, homemade chocolates and staff. Osamu, the owner, went out of his way to show the different “secret” bar he has right next door as well as give us local recommendations and a map of Miyajima and what he recommended to visit. Highly recommended

簡潔に言うと、広島に来た際は必ずと立ち寄った方が良い最高のbarです。カクテルが意味わからんくらい美味しかったです。店内もオシャレでずっと居座ってたいくらい素敵な空間ですが、人気店なので平日にゆっくり過ごせた日が奇跡なくらい賑わってます。
