One of the best airports I’ve been to, both in terms of 'function' and 'fashion'. Where function is concerned, this airport has lots of facilities that cater to the needs of travelers. There are water dispensers in almost every corner of the airport, providing travelers with hot and cold water to quench their thirst. The foods sold in the food court and restaurants around the airport are reasonably priced; unlike some airports where the price is sky high. The toilets are well maintained and very clean. What surprises me the most in terms of facilities is how thoughtful they are to the spiritual needs of travelers - there are worship rooms for different religions! Devotees of some of the world's major religions can choose to quieten themselves in their little place of worship. For example, there is a little chapel for Christians, a little 'wudhu' area for the Muslims and rooms for meditating for Hindus and Buddhists. Very thoughtful facilities indeed. But one does wonder, how many passengers actually make use of these facilities? Nonetheless, it is a good idea to pray before one’s flight... divine protection is needed when one is travelling. Where 'fashion' is concerned, I'll let the pictures do the talking. Notice how aesthetically appealing the decorations are? My personal favorites are the colourful murals and green natural plants. Very, very appealing to the senses. Well done Kaohsiung International Airport!

Kaohsiung International Airport is the second largest international airport in Taiwan, after Taoyuan International Airport. The international terminal has a total area of up to 70,985m2, including 4 separate floors. This is a terminal specializing in serving flights to Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea and Japan. The international terminal is divided into 3 floors: - 1st floor: Arrival hall with immigration area, currency exchange counter, ATM, airline service counters,... There is a corridor connecting to the domestic terminal. - 2nd floor: Here, passengers can check in for transit or transfer for the next flight - 3rd floor: Departure Hall is equipped with necessary aviation equipment such as check-in counters, airline service counters, information counters, .. along with necessary non-aviation services such as medical services. economy, shop. The airport is not too big but the procedure is very simple and fast. Airport staff from customs to baggage carousel service are extremely friendly and enthusiastic. 可搭乘捷運-紅線/往小港，前往高雄國際機場站，由六號出口可搭乘電梯、手扶梯直接到達機場一樓，不須經過馬路； 一樓為出入境大廳，包含國內線，三樓為國際線； 機場雖不大，但便利商店、銀行、保險、通訊，均有設置； 國外來的旅客可以注意一點就是電子票卡，台灣使用多半為悠遊卡(i-cash)、一卡通，其中悠遊卡(i-cash)為最大宗，短程火車、高鐵、巴士、親軌、便利商店....等配合廠商，應用上非常廣泛，建議來台灣旅行的朋友買一張使用，台幣為100元，儲值另計，全台灣均可使用，並於各大捷運、便利商店等可做儲值

出入境簡單明瞭，服務也都不錯，會幫旅客解決問題，但商店較少，等機的時候滿無聊的
