I made last minute arrangements for a 10+ people work lunch and apart from being super flexible, the staff were really nice, well-prepared and worked together to ensure we all got our food at the same time. Making the booking was a piece of cake the food was brilliant, and the our table's wait staff was super kind, polite, and patient. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure our team will be back at some point to celebrate some other milestone.

The kitchen is able to cater for all sorts of dietary restrictions. I asked upfront and there was no annoyance or anything, super friendly and welcoming of any and all requirements.

Visited this restaurant when the place we wanted was booked out didn't know what to expect as had always thought it was a bar when passing... Looks can be ver deceptive as I discovered! Fabulous restaurant with friendly attentive staff and the menu though a limited one for Christmas was full of great choices... Two of us were eating and we were absolutely delighted with our beautifully presented and very tasty dishes. Great wines and the waiter recommended a lovely one to accompany my risotto. We loved it so much we returned a week later (by choice this time ) with my daughter before a concert in the NCH and had another fantastic meal and again staff so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and it's very close to the NCH

I was here for a staff night out, and it was my first time I loved it. Located on Harcourt St. the LUAS will drop you outside the front door. We ate from the early bird menu, and the food was just great. Lovely surroundings, great service, and very polite staff. Drinks from the bar and a good wine selection are available with a good pint of Guinness to be had. Overall, I loved it and would love to go back again.

This is a nice place located in a bit more quite area in Dublin. Food was quite expensive but the quality was very good. I had the crab salad as entrée which tasted very pure. Fillet as main which was cooked as requested. Sides were great too, especially the spinach/mushroom combo. My colleagues had the aranchini as a starter and the sticky toffee as desert and loved them both.

This restaurant was wonderful. They service was excellent. The food was scrumptious. I had the most delicious Carrot and Coriander soup that i have ever had. My sister has a milk allergy and informed the staff. Most places she has difficulty finding a dish that she can have. At the 1900 they accommodated her allergy wonderfully and provided her substitutions to all the of items that contained milk. 10/10 would recommend. I plan to go again the next time I am in Dublin.

It's great but not perfect. The atmosphere is nice, waiters are friendly and attentive, the food presentation is very pleasant and the food is quite good. My only real problem was that, especially the meat, felt a bit uninspired for the price. It was good meat (we had both a steak and the pork belly), it tasted good, but it wasn't anything special. The dishes wouldn't need much improvement for 5 stars, but there certainly is still some air. Overall, lovely restaurant.

Had dinner with a friend and we both thought the food was good but the desserts were a bit of a let down. For starters, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Arancini and the Irish Crab Salad. Both really good. For mains we both got the Wild Atlantic Haddock Tagliatelle which was tasty, and for desserts we ordered the Chocolate Mousse and the Crème Brûlée. The staff were very attentive and nice!

Was going to a gig in Iveagh gardens on Friday and had an excellent meal here beforehand. Food was excellent, short but good & affordable wine list, and service was friendly and efficient, especially the gent from Mauritius (sorry about the Irish weather). Looking forward to returning.

Me and my daughter where looking for a place where to eat in south Dublin and occasionally stumbled on the 1900’s restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation , and , although it was quite crowded, the guys of the staff were very friendly and quickly found a table for us . A good selection of whines and beers on draught . The food was lovely and the place is cozy and comfortable.

I saw their ad on Instagram and decided to take my friend for her birthday dinner there and she really loved it, her words "thought I was in a master chef competition". Had a very lovely meal here. Surprisingly the Restaurant was not full and we were able to get a table on the Bank Holiday weekend easily. This restaurant deserves to be packed every night. The sirloin was amazing. All food was serces piping hot. Lovely pre-dinner cocktails (I had the 'French Lavender') and delicious Crème Brûlée. Service was great too.

Lovely ambiance. The staff are top notch. Incredibly attentive without being bothersome. The martini I drank had a passion fruit puree and was outstanding! Duck was a little tough but still very tasty. Large portions. Overall, was a great experience. Wish I could have fit in dessert.

Food is simply outstanding! Great ambience with soft music, nice decoration and, the most important, really tasty food. Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Starter, main and desert were excellent. The steak was perfect, one of the bests I've eaten in Dublin (better than FX Buckley, I might say). My compliments to the chef and his team! Definitely will go back soon

My husband found this restaurant on open table due to the great reviews and I have to agree, it is such a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. JeanPaul our waiter was very attentive, the live music was by a girl with the most beautiful voice playing the piano and the manager/owner was so friendly. Thanks so much for a lovely night!

We picked this restaurant as the first to visit for dinner after lockdown as all my friends recommended it. Was a perfect choice, since the moment we entered the door the staff gave us a really warm welcoming. The food is delicious and drinks are amazing. I would recommend to book in advance.

First time to eat here last night and will certainly be back. We both ordered steak and crème brûlée. 10/10 for food and service. Would have preferred a nicer New Zealand sav and Rioja.

The food was excellent, we had the fillet, which was a beautiful cut of meat. Johnpaul’s service was immaculate, and he took a very good care of us! We had a young Montepulciano D’Abruzzo that we let breathe for a while, and provided a good pairing with the steak.

We visited this restaurant over the weekend. First off, the music was excellent, a lady played the piano and sang beautifully. The food was nice but the service was incredibly slow. Wasn't a particularly busy night either. This was a review of a visit in January.

Ordered the lamb skewers to start and fillet of steak for main. One of the nicest meals I've ever had. The sauce with the skewers was so tasty. Presentation was A1 and the waiter (Denis) was good craic. Can't praise highly enough. Will be back again for sure.
