This is the best place to go, the pictures you see on their website is a true reflection of what you will find when you book with them. The service is out of this world , Thank you Nonku and the Kitchen stuff for giving my husband the best egg white eggs ever, he still raves about them even now. They meet your requests and exceeds them from the reception to the operations manager, literally after breakfast we decided that we no longer eating outside the guest house and we would order everything with them and that was the best decision of the weekend. The lamb shank was thee best ohh still can not get over the taste and the portions are very generous also. We are definitely coming back every time we need a place to tap out of the busy world.

Views are incredible and that's about where it ends unfortunately. Haven't visited this guesthouse in afew years..and was very disappointed to see how it has declined. The lady at reception was helpful and kind but not her fault. The bathroom in my room wasnt cleaned properly plus lack of proper maintenance, black mold everywhere...if I didn't have a business meeting the next day then would've avoided using the bathroom altogether. The fan in the bathroom which was motion activated was covered in mold. Bugs in the basin when I arrived. Light in the room was crusted with dirt..hasn't seen a good clean in a few years I suspect, probably from the last time I was here. Curtains were white in color but actually light brown from being so filthy. The dinner was inedible. Very disappointed and sad. If my flight hadn't arrived in the evening then would've tried going to another location.

My family of 3 ( 2 adults one child ) stayed here. Pros: - good 3star accommodation - lovely views - nice breakfast - good beds Cons: - not a 4 star. Maybe back in the day it was. Light fittings broken, and some mild in bathroom - not allowed to use heater on AC , sign on the AC saying setting temperature above 22degs is not allowed. So on a cold night u gona be cold. - mornings very noisy with the staff making a lot of noise, so cannot sleep in. - guests drinking and walking around in nothing but Towles with beers and alcohol in hand all day and night, very loud at night although rules say no noise after 10 this is not followed. Not very family friendly. - no security to be seen on site.

Comfortable guest house on the beach in Amanzimtoti. Close to shopping Malls, medical centre and other amenities. Good security, enough on the premises shaded parking and other pampering facilities like, beauty salon and massage parlour. The room we stayed in did not have a view, but a small private garden. Basic amenities normally found in a standard guest house were absent. No, shower cap nor coffee and tea in the room. There is a hairdryer. However, there are a small fridge and microwave. The room was clean and there are plenty of electrical sockets as well as a safe. We did not have much contact with the employees, but everybody seems friendly. The breakfast was basic, but tasty. I cannot comment on wheelchair accessibility. If the occasion arise, I will stay there again.

Balcony rooms are the best. Bathrooms need a revamp and the lawns definitely need to be weeded. Our main door looked patched up like it had been broken at the lock. Bathroom door didn't stay closed, the mechanism seemed broken. A pastry chef is needed, we got prepacked muffins mainly. This was our 2nd trip with the dogs. Galleria Mall and shopping places nearby. Lovely view to sit and relax watching the ocean.

Our stay was beyond my expectation, Sibahle made sure that everything goes well as per my special request and even more. She outdid the indoor romantic picnic. I was so happy with everything. Leslie from the restaurant done his part according to what i have requested. They both exceeded my expectation and went an extra mile. Everybody else, at the spa and the owners made us feel welcome, we felt like we were part of the family. Not to mention guesthouse itself, i will recommend it to my friends, family, colleagues and i will love to visit again. The sea view while relaxing on the bed is breath taking and rooms are spacious and beautiful.

I absolutely loved the view of the sea. We were in the top rooms and the view was exceptional. Breakfast was good too. However, the management of the place needs to be worked on. There is hardly anyone at reception and that whatsaap number is never received, so you have to call for absolutely everything. I also felt that there should've been water in the fridge and when the cleaners came they didn't leave any coffee or sugar so we had to go out and buy our own which sucks. Management needs improvements otherwise the location itself is splendid.

This venue relies heavily on the spectacular views of the ocean, Although I booked giving my name and contact phone number when our guests arrived they were told there was no booked table but sit anywhere! We were not told it was unlicensed I asked for ice bucket glasses for the table while my husband went looking for a bottle store, he returned 30 minutes later but ice bucket & glasses still not on table The food was basic, burgers fish all with chips and small salad. Fortunately we enjoyed our friends company The service was SO slow we considered leaving

Home away from home but with the benefit of luxury, great views and amazing service. Hands down my favourite place to stay in KZN. The ocean views are out of this world!!! The perfect place to take the family as there is a kids play place and a lovely lawn to enjoy. There is a pool, a braai area and an outside covered area perfect for celebrations. Close to all amenities and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

The view was amazing. It is literally overlooking the ocean. The parking was great as it is safely located inside the property. The monkeys were a bit troublesome when there is food around however the staff were helpful in spraying them away with water guns. The restrooms were clean. The coffee shop is also open to the public and not just guests of the b&b. This is a plus as the food and hot drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is inviting. Place is also wheelchair friendly as it's all on one level with minimal stairs.

Literally a hidden GEM so conveniently situated! The most beautiful tranquil place with the best views! Our family enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and stunning, the facilities are amazing, the staff and owners are so friendly and accommodating, Lesley from the coffee shop is such a great breakfast host..Jolene was so kind and made us feel like family, the breakfast was lovely and we will definitely be back♡

Wow, absolutely loved my stay at the 305 Guest House! I had the sea facing room and watching the sun rise in the morning over that stunning sea view, was breathtaking. The room was clean and all the staff were so friendly. The breakfast is delicious and definitely gives you energy to start your day. I would recommend relaxing on the swinging benches and and just taking in that view of the coastline.

Our first visit for breakfast to this lovely venue with uninterrupted sea views and wild birds eating from suspended bird feeders close by. Their website for the Coffee Shop advertised various breakfasts served all day, however, a much smaller menu was actually available until 1100 and, fortunately, we were just in time. The Cappuccino was good and our breakfast tasty and good value. Service was good too. Well recommended.

I have stayed in almost every room this hotel has to offer and what a stunning place it is. The staff is very polite and helpful and not because it's their job, it's in their nature to be kind and friendly. I really miss my travels to 305 . Father's Day brunch at 305 Guest House was simply exquisite and unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed by management and staff and we felt so special. The food was delectable and so well-priced. I had a lovely day out at 305guesthouse with a group of my lady friends. We each had a pedicure and some breakfast afterwards. We've been friends for about 17 years and this was one of our best pamper days we had yet. The pedi was amazing and relaxing. The service was great and we enjoyed our food thoroughly. It's is beautiful as I'm sure the rooms would be, however it took 1 hour to receive a waiter and another hour to wait for food to be done. Due their 2 hour wait this does not make them qualify for the 5 star yet. They must improve on that and overall it is a beautiful place and meets the safety requirements for family day out. Burgers was tasty and the veg meal was truly worth it.

I enjoyed the stay at 305, the service is out of this world, their scrumptious breakfast will make you wish it's morning everyday the whole day . The rooms are neat, spacious and family friendly. A great secret gem with priceless views. Ian and the team operate a top notch establishment which caters for the entire family. This will not be our last visit. Amazing. The rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast was good. The views of the shoreline and sea from the deck was awesome. I suggest a sea view as apposed to the terrace view. Rather pay the extra $, it is definitely worth it. Malls are less than 5 minutes away. All you could wish for in a weekend getaway. Not to close to Durban and also not too far.

305 Guest House previously had very high standards and recently that has changed I understand during difficult times that we had with Covid it was a loss in business but also Customers are important and would love to feel good when they do book.

I did not stay but visited for breakfast. The eggs Benedict wasn't ideal. Eggs weren't runny and they use ham instead of bacon. Food was also cold when served. It was a sisters day out so we just went with it. Staff were very friendly. Host has an amazing energy. She's so sweet too.

Great accommodation with a fabulous sea view and a great location. Well organized by very friendly managers and staff. Very nice breakfast and good food options for dinner. I utilized the conference facilities and this was right on par with the best with all Covid protocol in place.

What a beautiful place and an amazing, tranquil getaway. The view, the rooms, the service... Everything was top notch. Having the Galleria Mall right next door was super convenient as well. We could not have chosen a better KZN breakaway. Next time we'll take the kids along!

The view from the deck makes you feel like you can just walk straight into the ocean. You immediately feel right at home. Now that I know 305 is pet friendly, we will definitely stay again with our pets. It's really a stunning place and the breakfast is well worth it.

I've been to 305 twice, it was perfect both times. Staff are friendly, food is great. But what stands out for me is the view, it's breathtaking. On both occasions, I was fortunate enough to have seen whales. On the last visit, my wife and I spotted dolphin as well.

The staff at reception is friendly and very helpfull, the rooms are well kept and very beautiful. I enjoyed breakfast in the morning but the fruit salads could be covered to avoid flies, otherwise its good. And that beach view will always bring me back here.

An Easter long weekend break that was perfect. Beautiful views, luxury rooms, great service and the spa massage in the external boma with the ocean crashing in the distance was a highlight. Even as the weather changed we couldn't have chosen a better view.

This place has a beautiful restaurant with amazing views while you enjoy your food with a friend or dining alone. Awesome gym with personal trainer. If you want to spoil yourself there's also a beauty spa that offers treatment for both man and woman.
