When I go into a food establishment I like to test the personalities out because I want to be sure my food is palatable. My visit today at Whole Foods is pivotal. I like to eat vegetables and turkey for lunch and on occasions I'd take home some beans/vegetables and mushroom to add to my meals in the ensuing days. Today was no exception. The lady at the cold cooked vegetables etc. was very hospitable and kind. I asked to confirm if all the items were cold food because of my card use- I was told that area was solely cold foods. My orders went through nicely. She asked me me how much of each item I desired as she filled my containers. We chit chatted a bit and I thanked her kindly and I moved over to the warm food items. I landed at the rotisserie display area,When I arrived there there was a 7 feet white staff standing near by. As I was about to state my desire he walked away towards the far right end corner of the food area where the cutters were. I echoed that I would like some chicken. He turned as if he didn't realize that there were customers there behind me or I there. As he drew closer to the area I pointed to the piece of chicken I wanted . I asked if he could chop up the portion I was going to choose because I wanted to have some of it for my lunch- I was taken a back when he replied most emphatically, "the chicken was already chopped up'- now this portion of chicken was a half portion of a small chicken- it had a wing, rib area with a bit of breast in place. I knew I wasn't going to have all of that at once and I didn't want to be messing up my fingers to eat because i didn't want to visit the bathroom to wash my hands after my meal. I wanted the chicken to be in sizeable portions so I could use my fork to eat the chicken, mushroom, butter beans, and squash in my small containers. When he responded as he did, I then asked if the eating area had firm plastic knives that I could use to cut the chicken in portions. He barely showed much concern- I can't remember what he said. When he went to weigh the chicken I again asked if he could chop the chicken in small portions after he weighed in and before taping the price tag. He just ignored me placed the price tag on and handed it to me. I could sense that the customers who were waiting found his behavior odd, but 'mom' was the word. I went to check out self service I swiped the items only after paying I noticed my warm food bill was $13.00 +. The only warm food was the chicken at $6.99 per pound. I called the young lady who was assisting in the area to check my items with me because I knew that the only warm food was the chicken. We both realized that instead of checking the salad bar box menu I had bypassed that and went straight to bar code- this was weird because my container didn't have a bar code- I had inadvertently passed the container over the bar pricing digital area and so I was charged for the beans as warm instead of cold food. The young lady had encouraged me to go downstairs to rectify the matter- but I was so hungry and also exhausted mentally by that guys attitude I was afraid of another negative attitude- I checked my stuff and went to eat my meal. Oh the place was crowded- they store had chucked the tables and chairs together to accommodate a new department- Bad idea Whole Foods! There was no reasonable available sitting are because the area was so jammed it was difficult to locate a clear clean table. I searched tiredly. I found a high chair which I really didn't want because of injuries to my body which was why I was in the area because I had just walked across from Mount Sinai Beth Israel. I cleaned the area before eating. I had to assist other patrons to find a clean area around me by beckoning them to sit by me as I cleared my personal stuff.
It's always a blessing to have a park, but I think that this park can be better managed and cleaned up by learning from a well-managed park like Bryant Park. There are a lot of opportunities for improvement so the park can be functional and beautiful all year round.
It's good place lots of thing to check out good for Christmas shopping and have good selection on all your house needs like blankets and kitchen pots and pans cups and so on . It's pretty good joint.. I would recommend this to anyone .. …
Busy, lots of holiday booths, farmers market , meats, duck and many organic farmers stands, hard cider, bourbon-new york local brand, apple ciders. Soaps , gluten free and rustic breads, so many choices! …
I never knew this place existed until a friend dragged me into whole foods and now my mind is blown. We had lunch and enjoyed the views of the winter market across the street.
Great place to sit and do your home work or coding on your laptop or notebook not a good place to flirt only the studious gather their the have no interest in buffoonery.
I must have been hungry to eat here. The food is put in cardboard boxes, all together. Already prepared. It is a canteen, and you must think of the food served as such
It feel good to shop there. Although, it's a chore I have to do every 2-3 weeks, it doesn't feel much like a chore. I look forward to food shopping!
Consider eating here if you're looking for something to eat in Union square. Definitely an interesting crowd but typical Union Square traffic
I would say my experience here is good but sometimes it's to many people maybe they should add on to this way of eating in this food court!
Hot food prices increased and the taste has gotten worse . I spent 20$ on 1.25 pounds of food and it was mostly salad . Smh what a rip off
It was nice getting affordable food from the salad bar and having lunch at a window seat. New York is really a very diverse state.
I like Union Square with the street sellers. You can find some interesting things from independent artists, small businesses etc.
First off I mean, this place is great if you have a lot of money, but it’s a beautiful location if Genas afford it and yeah
I always sample from the food bar liberally in honor of their conservative CEO (only from my container, never the trays)
Я люблю это место. Отличный вид у окна. И вкусно готовят. I love this place. Great window view. And delicious cooking
My favorite fav shopping center. There food is fresh a bit expensive but it's worth it if u can afford it.
Yiyecek içecek için Şahane mola ve ekmek seçeneği, çeşit çeşit çorba, denemek için midye çörbası çok güzel

Fuimos a Burlington pero no tenía lo que buscamos. Aunque este store es imposible de evitar ir!!
This is such a wired place. I love the variety of urban tribes that you can find in this place
The food is charged per pound!!!!! And the pizza is the best of all New York just for $4!
Green market is well worth a visit, lots of interesting stalls but sketchy in places.
Conveniently located. Quick entrance, selection, comfortable dining, and safe.
Si può scegliere ciò che si desidera, poi si pesa, ed in base al peso si paga!
