It's just another CTA L train station on the south side portion of the aptly named CTA Red Line (that L line has really become a joke in recent years, and I know why it has). I try to avoid the Red Line as much as possible but other than the Metra Electric trains, it is the quickest method of getting to points south of 35th Street. Now, about this station. The escalator leading to the sidewalk really needs to be widened or replaced. It's as narrow as that which leads from the station platform at the North/Clybourn station. At street level, there are good views of traffic on the Dan Ryan and of the L trains, along with the freight and Metra trains which pass nearby. The curve of the Dan Ryan Expressway here is best to look at after sunset. These are the only good things about this station, in my view that is!
