Not a fan of this store anymore. They are short staffed and have half of the fridges under padlock (not the buzzer system that most other locations use but a legit lock they have to walk over and unlock, stand around while you get what you need, and then lock again). It probably limits theft but it sure as hell also limits sales. I waited for the guy that was behind the counter prepping food for someone else. After he was done, he ignores me even when I said "excuse me need help" and went to the cashier to help him out. I'm not blaming the employees. It just seems penny wise dollar foolish to have padlocks which require your employee to walk away from the cash register. 7 Elevens don't attract the best crowds to top it off.
So today, I went in and both staffs just totally ignore me while it was not busy at all and they both were just chilling on their phone. I am not blowing things into proportion but the staff that served me from the grill was seriously digging into his nose while he was chilling on the phone. He did not even put on gloves or washed his hands. I saw him digging his nose and then decided to serve me. They are nasty and unprofessional. The overnight crew is way better than the daytime crew.
Happy Springtime nyc 21. 7-Eleven on Bowery and E. 4th Street has just reopened this week since the NYC CoronaVirus lockdown. They are very conveniently located at the M103 Uptown Bus Stop. They are in the great company of Phebe's, the Bowery Hotel, the Standard EV, Short Stories and Crunch, and around the corner on E. 4th Street is the La Mama Experimential Theatre Club, Duo Theatre, IATI Theater, New York Thertre Workshop and the Comedy Club of New York City.
I was here with my partner heating up some food and he automatically thought it was outside food. He had told me the microwave wasn’t working meanwhile he had a working one behind the counter He had to heat up my food for me. He wwas looking through the cameras. And then I had to ask for mayo and and mustard bc all the sauces were behind the counter. The service was trash and they hide everything which is not supposed to be like that
Rude service. Went in to get a money order. Was told in a surly brusque voice "the machine isn't working." When I asked when the machine would be working, the guy who told me it wasn't working went over to the money order machine and examined it. Found a power switch. Turned the machine on. 5 minutes later he sold me the money order, after rudely lying to my face. Sheesh.
Staff is rude! They claim to be a 24-hour but every time I get there the doors are locked. Dude really got into an argument with me saying it's not a corporate store even though the website says this location is open for 24 hours. Then refuse to give me a cup to get a slushie.
The workers don't listen. They do not understand English. The Manager is very rude and disrespectful. He refuses to take my order because of a previous transaction in which he made a few mistakes and I pointed it out and he got upset. They're never wrong.
Worthless store. Everything is overpriced, they charge tax and their ATM never has money. And their hot foods are just miserable dry junk food. Stay away. This goes for basically every 7 Eleven in the city.
I am not going to wait on line for a big gulp/slurpee cup. You have huge margins on those products. You lose $3 from a paying customer to prevent $.30 worth of theft.
This is the worst 7-Eleven location ever, the employees are very rude and nasty and also would not let you use the restroom, nasty attitude nasty nasty very nasty.
DON'T EVER USE THE ATM AT THIS PLACE! THEY COPYED MY CARD NUMBERS AND PULLED MONEY OUT ALL OVER TOWN. *(I GAVE A 1 STAR BC I CANT POST THIS WITHOUT ANY STARS)
Has a trustworthy selection and friendly service. Superb location and great that it is 24 hours, makes for a great convenience store stop anytime.
This location is close to my job, they’re clean and friendly. Despite the panhandling doorman the place is a great business all around.
