I purchased a a set of 7-11 connect earbuds at 10:45 am on 6-21-2018 . I was not given a receipt at the time of purchase by the clerk by the name of Devin. I stood outside the store for approximately 30 minuets trying to figure out what needed to be done to use the new earbuds. I changed the ear pieces and tried all the sizes that they came with but the still kept popping out of my ears no matter which size of earpiece adapters were on at the time. About 25-30 minuets after the purchase I stepped back inside the store and explained to the clerk what them problem was. He then looked at me and asked for the receipt that he never did give me. The. I was told that a manager or the owner were the only ones that could do a refund or exchange on a product and was told that could me back tonight after 7 or in the morning after8 8 am When the owner was here. I then asked Devin if he would call the manager or the owner so we could get this situation handled and be on my way. He then told me that the manager may be at her other job and he was not about to call the owner when he didn’t know if he was as home or not. Then I was told that I had to come back after seven tonight or in the morning no matter what. I then reached out to the southland corporation and kept getting my call dropped and never did get to finish my report to the corporate office. This is ridiculous that I have to wait 8-20 hours in order to get a refund on a product the ou had bought 30 minuets prior. They were very i helpful and down right refused to perform an ounce of customer service and kept telling me what he couldn’t and won’t do in order to resolve this issue. Finally was able to get a formal complaint in to the corporate offices at 12:35 pm 6/21/2018

Let me start off by saying the only reason why I give 1 star is because unfortunately you have to give some kind of rating to post a review! I went into this store today (7/16/21) around 7:40 P.M. and had to make two purchases separately. As soon as I made my first purchase (a 30 pack of Budweiser) with a card, the cashier, that unfortunately I did not get a chance to get his name, immediately turned his back and went into what I'm assuming is the office. I continued to stand at the counter for a few seconds and then stated "I wasn't finished." The man came back to the counter saying, "Well any decent customer would have said that in the beginning!" I continued on requesting my second purchase that I need to pay for in cash (2 packs of Camel Crush.) The total came to $13 and some odd cents, I handed him $14 and said "Keep the change for your inconvenience." In which he replied while raising his voice, "THANK YOU AND I HOPE YOU DON'T COME BACK!" Nobody in the customer service industry should be treating anybody like that, especially a veteran that has thier identification card is in plain view a while I open their wallet! I have served my country well, however people that have attitudes like this towards anybody make me wonder why?

The manager treats homeless customers rudely not very customer oriented staff.talks rude to customers. doesnt see that the customers are happy and getting their needs met while shopping at their store. Staff are not trained properly. For being a cashier.they argue with the customers when customers notice that they made an over charge on people when they are checking out of store. Store is extremely dirty under counters coffee machine is never full only hot water in pots. Slurpee machine dirty. Their prices are higher than most 7 /11 stores how can they do that? Trash is over flowing outside front of store garbages. The grass on the east side of building is covered with trash.they don't shovel snow off sidewalks when there's a winter storm. Please help this store some how?

i actually give it 0 stars. horrible employees utterly rude quite offensive. the tongan tried to charge me more for a refill on my soda than it would've cost new! after a long argument and showing him the sign that said how much they were he finally reluctantly charged the right price then told me not to come back!! no worries there I won't be! i live 2 blocks away from that one and 2 blocks from 2 other 711's and have had numerous problems at that 711 with all employees that work there. upper management should fire all of them and start over.

Seriously SCREW this place. They sell chargers that do not have enough amps for my phone. I tried to return it and kindly explained why it wasn't working. The Asian and the Tongan pair who work the night shift were SO rude. I never complain about a business unless something really needs to be changed. I cannot make money with a dead phone, and it wasn't their problem and wouldn't give me my money back. Terrible.

The regular folks here are great. Today I was called the "biggest cry-baby today" by a cashier that insisted I needed a plastic bag for the 6 pack of beer I bought. This "store policy" has never been applied to me before, I asked to have the transaction cancelled and he laughed. Salt Lake no longer recycles plastic bags.. maybe store policy should be paper bags? Or to not force extra garbage on people.

The cashier guy deserves to be fired for being extremely disrespectful by cutting me off and not letting me speak by speaking over me telling me to “get out leave.” I told him I would call his manager he was like “oh yeah go head” and think I heard him say you can go kiss my ass. I’m sorry but 7/11 needs to hire better customer service people or else they will run out of business.

I only put one star so i could leave this review I give them a big fat 0. The people who run this store are very rude so are most of the employees. I will never go back to this one ever again. Someone should do something about them. They shouldn't be running a store if they can treat their customers badly and get away with it. People like them make this world bad.

Walked in with my hands in my pockets waiting in line. Employee accused me of stealing just because my hands were in my pockets. I literally emptied my pockets in front of her and said I was just waiting in line, she was so rude and kicked me out anyway. Would love to give her a Xanax and be allowed to come back so I dont have to drive 7 more blocks.

it's very frustrating because 7-Eleven I happen to live by has to have the biggest a****** clerk ever the night time guy who doesn't want to make life easy for anyone and doesn't want to accept cards or coins or anything that's easy for the customer. He comes across as a bigot. Yeah not a friendly neighborhood store like you would hope it would be.

I give this store 0 stars! Me and my buddy went in trying to buy a phone charger and the bald lady working refused to sell it because my friend was on the phone! She was ignorant and very unprofessional! How is this store still open? All the workers her are ignorant and do not belong in customer service! I'll never go back to this store ever!

Mostly good. Pricey and often out of stock items. Sometimes for weeks at a time. Otherwise well satisfied. PS no public access to restrooms. Problematic for those with bladder control issues. Although the issues faced with drug users and alcohol users plus large crowds of homeless people and panhandle is well understood.

I love the people who work here they do a great job an]d take care of their store and it's surrounding issues to the best of their abilities! Shout out to the manager for dealing with the people on the grass and sidewalks in an appropriate but firm manner! Stay safe guys!!!!

Good location, but it gets crowded inside sometimes. If it gets backed up, it can take a bit of time. Not my favorite one, but I understand that it’s not always the establishment’s fault. Worth a try as long as nobody is in front trying different cards with different items.

Decent store, nice staff. BUT that fountain drink taste disgusting! Pure tag water mixed in and can taste the tap water. If they filtered the water I think the fountain drinks be worth it. I drive a couple more blocks from my office to Maverick to get good tasting soda.

Their grilled food is dried out rock hard garbage beyond any food safety or time restraints. The old employees were better and made sure the food was somewhat fresh. They made the store look nicer with renovations but I don't believe the crew knows what they're doing.

The prices on the aisle were different from what they charged. When I told the cashier about it. She told me she didn't know about it. It was so frustrating. Please before buying the products confirm the prices with the cashier. It's not a good place.

I love the hot foods and the sandwiches were pretty good too. I had a great experience here. Only problem was that the water bottles seemed to have just been placed on the fridge because they weren't cold. I only found one cold.

No EBT, always out of cups, straws and your favorite candy. Hot food is expired and not thrown out on time. Manager is a real PoS cheap a**! Go to another 7 eleven if you want fresh food and uncorrupted service

This place is seriously ghetto. At least half the pumps are out of order, and the others won't print a receipt. I've never had one of their machines give me a receipt. Sad.
