I just drove 500 miles out of my way to get a van from Chris / 818 Auto Sales. I found a van on their website that had very low mileage (89K), and had been government owned and very well maintained. Similar vehicles up in the area were being listed at least a few thousand dollars more, so I figured it was worth looking into this one despite the distance. I first reached out via email, and Chris responded extremely quickly and gave me the information I was looking for. We went back and forth almost exclusively via email and he was always quick to respond and answered every single one of my questions. After asking about some small dents on the roof of the van, Chris went out and took about a dozen detailed photos showing exactly what they looked like up close. He took those early in the morning and there was dew on the roof, but it was enough for me to see what I needed to see. Even though I was satisfied, I received ANOTHER email from him a few hours later once the roof was dry with even more detailed pictures. He truly went out of his way to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the van's (excellent) condition because he knew I was coming from very far away and didn't want there to be any surprises. Because of this, I felt totally confident in making the trip down there for a vehicle I had never seen in person. When I did get down to the lot, I told him I wanted to take the van to a local mechanic for a quick inspection before making the purchase, and he was fine with that. Just handed me the keys and said, “Go for it.” The van is in fantastic condition and I couldn't be more stoked on it or on the no-pressure service I received from Chris- He’s amazing!!!! Saw a vehicle posted on Craigslist that caught my eye. The ad mentioned that this dealership provided In-House financing which is what I needed since I've been recently turned down by a couple of major finance companies. I spoke with Jay and later Chris who both explained in detail what terms I was looking at and what I needed to bring to go home with a car. The process was straightforward and required me to bring $1300 down payment (for the vehicle I was interested in), any bill with my name and address, and my pay stubs. Keep in mind that they will also make you get full coverage insurance on the vehicle before you take the car which depending on your driving record could end up being a deal killer. Please make sure get some quotes before you drive over there so you know what you're looking at otherwise you might be forced to take an expensive quote just to take the car home. That's what happened with me. My driving record was not the best, so it cost me $280 to buy insurance from Progressive, but luckily I was able to switch it out the next month for something half the price. Overall I had a great experience. The staff really cared about my business. They are a couple of young men that seem new to the industry and were eager to earn my business. They didn't lie to me about anything which was actually pleasing since everyone else I have encountered in my previous vehicle purchases were nothing but compulsive liars. It's clear they have not been corrupted by the industry yet. -Steve

This review is long overdue! At the beginning of June, I bought a 2005 Lexus IS300 with the help of Danny. My gf and I were actually coming from Corona and had about an hour left before the place closed, but Danny was kind enough to postpone his plans to have us come down to test drive the car, along with a BMW 3 series wagon (although my mind was already set on the IS haha). He gave us all the time we needed to test drive and put no pressure on us whatsoever to purchase. He was straightforward and very helpful. He even went so far as to deliver the car to us in Corona and UBER it back to Winnetka!! Thanks to 818 auto sales, I finally have the car that I've been searching for so long! Hey everyone! I just recently bought a car from 818 Auto Sales a few weeks ago, and I love it! I bought my 2012 Volkswagen Jetta and it works amazingly. On top of that Carlos and Danny are absolutely fantastic and will do anything to make sure the customer is satisfied. When I was going to purchase the vehicle, my mechanic mentioned a few things that needed to be fixed (nothing major mostly ware and tare), and when I told Carlos and Danny, they immediately offered to fix it and had the car ready for me with warranty backing it up. If you are looking to buy a good used car with salespeople that are true to their word and are the most helpful, I genuinely recommend 818 Auto Sales.

Stopped by here to check out a vehicle that was posted on Craigslist. Called before to make sure it was there and about 2 hours later was at the location. The place looks small because they only hold like 5-6 cars in the front but to my surprise there was another 30 cars in the back parking lot. Danny was my sales person and he did an excellent job making me feel comfortable and welcome. My credit was the best so I was used to getting treated poorly everywhere I shopped. Totally Happy with my purchase. Thanks guys!

I am so thankful for Carlos picking up the phone and doing everything he could to get me approved for an auto loan. I'm a single mother with two jobs so when my car broke down it was a nightmare going from car lot to car lot with absolutely no results. My credit was bad and almost every dealership I stumbled upon just put more inquiries on my credit but would not approve me. Carlos ended up working with me when no one else would, and after a few hours, I was approved for in-house financing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Came to look for a 2010 Honda Civic after searching on Offer Up I came across Chris's add where he had the exact one I was looking for. Came on a Wednesday where I seen the Honda right on the frontline , seeing the car from a distance I instantly knew I wanted the car. Jay worked out a great deal for me and now my brother bought a Toyota Prius from them as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a car.

Bad credit , no credit this is the place to go. No long waits to see if you approve, your job is your credit. Had a past repo in 2009 and was able to walk out with a 2010 Jeep Liberty. Sales men Danny was nice and very helpful. If you have bad credit no worries they will work with you. :)
