Finally, a nice bakery in the valley! The cashier need to speed up a little--I guess, she's new like almost everyone at this new place--but other than that, the bread is delicious. I love the chocolate bread filled with cream cheese. Milk bread was nice. The broiche is soft and chewy on the inside, and the top is just hard enough and sweet. The best drink here is the sea salt coffee cold, it's very different from the usual stuff down the ways. I think the prices are reasonable for what you get. Boba is okay, not the best, but good enough. Anyways, I'm glad 85 degrees is finally here in the valley, and can't wait for the Century City one to open soon.

I got so glad when I saw that they opened this bakery near my house because I would go all the way to Glendale and Pasadena to buy bread from this bakery. But I was so disappointed with the service. It was full, there was only 1 cashier, and 3 employees working in the back. I want to give props to The cashier, she was polite and doing her best but I'm not sure who it was, in The receipt it says Yasmin but her name tag said Krystal. The company should take care of this problem asap because it's losing prestige in this area. I've never experienced this in the other locations.

Pastries are light with just enough flavor that isn't overpowering. The milk teas are good too. The prices are great. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you'll probably get the pretty rude and unfriendly ladies who seem like they just don't want to be there and other times you'll get really friendly service - laid back and good vibey workers. Establishment should look into that because it seems to be turning off alot of customers. Overall I like this place.

I dunno what it is, but no matter how low I turn the sugar in my boba, it is still too sweet. I'm suspicious they don't do anything if I ask for less sugar, honestly. I usually can really notice when they reduce the sugar in boba at most places. So if I drink a 25% sugar drink and still think: this is too sweet to be nice tasting, there's something up. My boyfriend had to toss his 25% drink he thought it was so grossly sweet.

Lived in Hokkaido Japan for a while, loved the bakeries there, and lamented the lack of them here. Well, lament no more, because 85°c is a PERFECT ASIAN BAKERY! The pastries are fresh, light, delicate, flavorful--and reasonably priced! Savory pastries with cheese and bacon and sausage. Sweet pastries with fruit and chocolate fillings. Everything was exceptionally authentic--and delicious! I can't wait to go back!

Amazing pastries and breads. But very disappointing that they won't give custcusto a glass of water, and they want to charge you 25 cents for a glass of water. I purchased pastries, smoothie, tea and cheesecake, Before leaving I asked for 2 glasses of water for my mom and I, and the employee wanted to charge me 25 cents per cup of water. Sorry, but Starbucks never ever charges customers for water.

I have visited this location numerous times at various times of the day. I want to give 5 stars for food/drinks, although the 1 star rating is for service. The cashiers (especially the morning) are usually unattentive and unpleasant. The place opens at 8am, there have been 3 occasions, customers had to WAIT to be serviced since their registers were not yet open. EDIT: definite improvements (1/19)

Fashion square location has very unfriendly staff. Several times we went around 10-11 am on Saturday, when they ran out of one selection, if you ask the staff if they are going to make more, there the answer is No, we not going to make any more of that for today. Are you guys kidding me? It's 10 am on Saturday and they are done making more.

Love their pastries since they opened up in Downtown Los Angeles years ago. I have also been at the one they have in Orange County at the Spectrum Center. Now l am very happy that they opened up at the Mall. Not good for the waist but.......... I have introduced this place to a lot of my friends and acquaintances too. Everyone loves it!!

I honestly didn't think food could taste this bad. And my peach green "tea" was almost crunchy it had so much sugar. Yuk, this place is an abomination. This isn't food. This establishment should be ashamed to produce this trash and call it food. I mean whoever puts a hotdog and hot sauce on a pastry is not right.

Stopped by 85 Bakery for a Tesla charge and got their famous iced sea salt coffee. It was all smooth sailing until I hit the "rock bottom" in my drink – actual rocks and sands substance! ⛰️ Had to bid farewell to my coffee, and my mood dipped faster than my Tesla's battery! ⚡

Great staff! They're always so friendly and patient, I really appreciate that when I'm trying to chose something new to drink. Really sweet people and yummy pastries! I found my curse with the salted butter roll. Very simple, but addictive. Beware.

I love their strawberry buns and the chocolate cream cheese buns! Always good service and the snacks are always fresh and fluffy! Management seemed really nice too. Nice little spot to enjoy a quick affordable snack while shopping around the mall.

Really liked this place the hours are nice you can get late night pastries and the selection is pretty good, although I do prefer portos and I wish they warmed up there bread that would nice, I still liked this place a lot will definitely be back

Really good corn bread and it's tastes like the elote from the elotero vendors. The coffee bread is pretty tasty (for ppl that like coffee), & they have a lot of flavors that are priced well for their size. 5/5 would return. Lol

I'm in love with the Caramel milk tea!! I give three stars because there have been times in the pastry boxes fruit flies in them , so I skip on the pastries. They also don't clean the tables often they always seem to be dirty .

As always 85C does bread and pastries are consistent and exceptional but this time I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the store. The dining tables were left dirty and unclean unless you request for a clean up.

Bruh this place is so good especially from this one employee named Jeff or Jefferson or Jefferey idk but he made the best boba and he needs like a $10 raise and promotion!

Good place to go and take a break. Good bread options and coffee. Its a litle desorganized. Normally you wait 10 min for the coffee, but the breads pay the waiting time.

Every time I’ve been here it’s Either the employees are high, unprofessional, and lazy or yet again something is wrong with their espresso machine/supply. It’s absurd.
