Picked up an affordable and outstanding Pedal Uptown eBike over the weekend, it runs great and is just the right size for my tiny partner. We also got some nice addons like a metal front basket and a combo lock. Store is chock full of choice and is very well laid out. It was quite busy when we arrived but staff were still able to direct us to look at what we had interest in. Once we picked out various bikes, Denzil did a phenomenal job setting us up and giving us advice/instruction for test riding. He genuinely listened to our thoughts, jokes and concerns and even remembered our names. We left feeling thrilled with our experience and we'll be back for long term services, upgrades and highly recommend 99Bikes Preston and Denzil to friends and family.

Great service Jack. I had been into a few other bike shops trying to find Bracket Covers for an old Shimano Ultegra shifter set but had not received any help whatsoever, however when I spoke to Jack in the workshop at 99 Bikes Preston the assistance he provided in not only working out the exact model (ST-6600) of the bracket covers I needed but also where I could get them was just amazing. Got the bracket covers and they fitted perfectly and bike is again looking and working beautifully. Once again thanks Jack and the team at 99 Bikes Preston on your wonderful service.

Very rare that I'm impressed enough to leave a review for any service I receive, but my experience here today was exceptional. Michael attended to my bike in a friendly, professional manner, spoke to me like a valued long time client (this was my second visit to the Preston store), and had my bike up and running in no time. He was also kind enough to offer tips on how to keep my ride in top condition, in simple terms. Also was very pleasantly surprised at the cost involved. 100% satisfied.

Awesome support from Jenna in the workshop. I went into the workshop on a weekend needing 7mm of headset spacers (needed after I changed my headset bearings). Jenna rummaged through the parts drawers and eventually found some spare spacers which were offered at no charge. I've had a few experiences like this. Always great support from the Preston workshop on weekends. Don't worry managers, I've spent lots of money in the Preston store! The great service keeps me coming back.

Great service, I first connected with 99bikes Preston at La Trobe uni, as they come there regularly. I highly recommend Jack, to anyone in search of a professional guidance. He helped me a couple of times to get my commuter bike in shape and also provided valuable advice on maintenance and accessories for my second bike. I don't often bother writing a review but these guys definitely deserve it. Its so nice walking into a bike shop and they are actually welcoming and helpful! Steven, in the workshop is a legit legend. I had an issue with my rear hanger on a bike I didn't even buy from 99 bikes and he was very welcoming and super helpful. Went for a lovely ride on the Darebin Creek trail…. Until my chain came off & got wedged in the wheel. A heavy walk to 99 bikes & my day was saved. The very friendly Jack, immediately went to work to fix my chain & complete a few minor tune-up’s to have me back on my way. All free of charge. Also the people in the workshop, did an excellent job assembling the bike and having it on time. Fantastic 99 Bikes Preston! Bought my bike here 3 years ago and still return for the best tune ups. I’m always advised what needs done and then recommended future care too. My go to bike shop. Great range and really helpful staff. The workshop always does a great job when I have one of my bikes serviced or repaired. They go above and beyond to help with any questions and will chase up suppliers if necessary. They were super speedy to help me with a replacement piece for my bike trainer.

Jack the mechanic was very helpful, he was polite, listened to our concerns. we bought a bike outside their shop, the gear needed tuning, jack was fast of fixing the issue. I’ve had my bike serviced here 3 times now. Always top job and super help from the whole team. I recently wanted my brakes tightened up further and they helped out no problem. On top of that, they helped me properly fit the rack for my toddler seat. Highly recommend.
