Not sure what has happened. Frozen chips on my order. Never had frozen chips at this chippy before awful dry and horrible. Can make frozen chips at home. I recently saw the environmental health at the chippy 4 weeks ago. Makes me wonder what they were doing at the chip shop. I actually saw them coming out the environmental health and get in there car. This chippy has never had frozen chips in the 35 years I've visited this chippy. Awful experience chinese takeaway as well. Food well below level of food expected and quality very poor. Will not be visiting again. The lady who serves the food has also changed. The chippy itself needs a good clean from what you can see on show its filfthy. They have had another visit from march last year from health inspectors.

Best chinese takeaway I've had in years! Ordered yesterday. We got prawn curry, Singapore noodles, chicken fried rice, sweet n sour chicken balls, chicken foo young and chips and it was all delicious and NOT just delicious for the first few spoons either! All the dishes really did taste great, the dry Singapore noodles were my favourite. As a bonus, the food was not horrifically salty like the old takeaway I used to go to so thankfully I wasn't awake at 4am dying of thirst. As a bonus they threw in a couple of free Pepsi's!! The crazy coincidence here is that I stopped going to my old takeaway because the lady there left out a can of pepsi and then was rude when I mentioned it next time. So odd!! This is now my new favourite chinese, very highly recommended!!!

This is probably the best Chinese takeaway in the whole of Manchester. Food is really the best and the service is unbelievable. Really friendly and the food comes in good portion sizes unlike some of the restaurants. The sweet and sour dishes are spot on especially as it’s one of the hardest dishes to get right but there’s is always spot on. Delivery is super quick and always a friendly delivery service. But as mentioned the food is always fresh and piping hot despite we aren’t directly on there doorstep. Favourites for us are the sweet and sour chicken and chicken balls. Sweet chilli chicken is out of this world, and the chow mein.

Been to this place three times in three months. The first time was fine. The second time, fish was not properly cooked so had bad stomach, had diarrhoea. The third time, asked them to make the fish and chips all well-done hoping it would solve the problem during the second time, I still had diarrhoea and was awake all night, while my son had a milder diarrhoea as he still managed to sleep. It is now 12:30 midday and we are still having loose bowels. I suspect two of the five fried fish were recycled from yesterday. Will ring them tomorrow to tell them of these experiences. DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

Food is great staff at e friendly ..But the Delivivery driver is ignorant I have a shihtzu he went to kick her when i told him not to do that he gave me a mouth full because i told him i was not going to tip him..had tpo pratically chase him for my food ..He should not be delivering door to door if he is afraid of dogs...as for the foul language ..not a good example he sets to the hard working staff the prep and cook the food ..chage your delivery driver and you have a first classs team

Ordered chips egg fried rice spring rolls and prawn crackers let's say this place use to be alright but I went in tonight it was quiet Chips looked worse for wear and rice and spring rolls took 4/5minutes if that which didn't bother me as wanted to get home and eat only to find the spring rolls were stone cold in the middle like really cold friidge temprature chips were luke warm and stale and prawn crackers were like dust in my mouth dunno what's happened but it had nothing to do with how busy the place was as it was a ghost town I won't be returning sorry guys

Only ordered for the first time here...never again....chips & curry were nothing amazing....chop suey roll full of grease...the wife had these...next day she was ill...vomiting...on the toilet...equally this could just be coincidence & nothing to do with the takeaway but we'll never know..it did lead me to looking at it's rating on the food standards agency though..should have done this first....last inspection was March 2022...current rating of one. No excuse for this except for laziness.

Sent my 10 Yr old in with £4 for a portion of chips and gravy, she came out asking for more money. They told her it was £4:75. Went in to ask the price of chips and gravy and they told me £3:45, then she said: oh I did them separately that's why it's more money. Obviously she then did a portion and took the £3:45. Absolutely the worst portion of gravy to chip ratio I think I have ever seen. Absolute snides!

Probably the worse chips in the world. Fryers turned off then when an order comes in turn on to warm up already cooked chips. We called in and was served chips that were already cooked. These were cold and not cooked properly. The taste was bad. The peas were under cooked and almost ripe. Never again.

Amazing ***** Most excellent take away & plenty to boot, Prices just right & the staff are the best YET,,,,remember I’m doing this review on 24 March 2020. We’re just on lockdown so will be but a memory with time, This is the only place to have handed masks to me with my order of food,, Not only serving the community Happy delicious food But serving the community with a bit of health care. The food is terrible here, they don't sell fish, the chips are disgusting, not proper chippy chips, I asked if the peas were mushy, she said they were, they're not mushy peas, the puddings are pale, the woman was nice but the food terrible.

Usually this place is great, food is normally really nice. Ordered tonight, chips weren’t cooked, rang up to tell them, she just said the chef said they’re cooked and wouldn’t bring a replacement, just for me to take it back even though I get it delivered for a reason. The salt and pepper was not salt and pepper at all, just onion.

I want to order fish but they don't have it right now…..they said it may take a while until the price stabilizes… Anyway…..overall the food is ok and the new staff are very polite…Hope to get fish next time…….

This has to be the worst Chinese takeaway I have had the displeasure of having. Ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken, chips and curry sauce, what arrived was some kind of fish in salt and pepper coating, Luke warm black chips and cold curry sauce, totally un-edible.

I give only one star only because my filet stake was quite good , otherwise absolutely disgusting ,spring rolls turn out to a piece of chicken in greasy batter , my crispy chicken was dry and hard like a stone ! Worst chinese I ever had , never again !!!!!!!

Disgusting, food was tasteless and watery and the prawn toast was so greasy it just squished in the mouth even the dogs wouldn't go near them. Never gonna go here again. If i could i would have give no stars.

Local Chinese chippy, usually very quick and polite service. Nothing outstanding however always consistent with standard of food would recommend.

Terrible chippy, I go here every now and then and it's always rank. The chips are like cardboard and are rock hard. No wonder its always empty!

Very dirty inside on both sides for customers an staff.Oil smelt over used an cobwebs in full view didn't bother eating my microved pie.
