A & Jay Car Rentals is simply one of the best car rentals in the industry, so glad I have found this place. I used it multiple times, for consecutive number of days/weeks with a total of 2 vans (12 seater) and an SUV (7 seater) and all I can say is wow! They look after all of their vehicles, well maintained, clean, smells good and serviced on time had no issues at all. But the highlight here is the team at the Dandenong branch in particular, most especially Muthu. Treated us like a friend and am glad to have gained another one, was so helpful and friendly, professional at the same time. Looked after us really well and knew the importance of our situation (wedding) and only gave us his best with each encounter, he went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful. I will always come back to this place from now on, even renting on long drives with my now wife just to keep connecting with Muthu. Hi All, I have been loaning cars for the past 6 weeks and still need to loan for another 14 days. I tried two other companies. But A & J are so much better with their customer service Where as Budget Clayton were unprofessional from start to finish compared to A& J. 1. They took photos and did not send them to me until i asked a couple days later. 2. When the lady answers the phone, she says budget car rentals, can you hold the phone for a few moments, and without giving you the opportunity to answer yes or no she immediately places you on hold. 3. The man with a beird behind the counter is miserable. He has some type of major chip on his shoulder. Instead of saying gday or hello how can I help. He was rude by moving his chin up and down, signifying his arrogance to get your attention. However, A&J are Great. Top Guys. I have rebooked for tomorrow. Honestly I never write reviews but I’m pretty disgusted by this businesses behaviour towards my partner My partner is without a car for awhile. He walked all the way to hire a car from this place as we also looked on this website to see what the prices were like they were around 30 dollars a day when my partner came in and talked to two Indian males they told him that there was no such price as that and laughed at him and started talking in a different language and just laughing when he showed his ID and credit card they didn’t take him seriously so all and all I’d recommend this place to no one it doesn’t matter how old you are or what nationality no one should ever be treated like this I sincerely hope that In the future that your company does better!

One of the best if not the best rental car services in the south East Melbourne region. I personally have rented out multiple vehicles from them in the past year. They are very efficient with the whole process of getting the documentation sorted up until handing they keys to you. No unnecessary questions asked, just a smooth workflow process and you’re on your way. You can contact them 24hrs of the day and most certainly you’ll get a reply or a call back within the next few hours. The highlight of this place, would be the array of vehicles they posses under their fleet (most brand new/ new models) & fits everyone’s budget, whether it be small or large. Good value for money rental. My pre-booked car at MEL airport was auto-cancelled on the day of arrival due to flight delayed. As it was quite a peak season, many of the car rentals company can’t provide 6-7 seaters. I’ve contacted A&Jay via phone the next day as I’m staying in Dandenong. They’ve offered me a 7-seater SUV for a good price of 6 days rent.They have a fleet of ‘new’ and well maintained cars and you’ll be confident to drive around & feel comfortable. Booking a truck rental for our move in Dandenong was hassle free with A & Jay Car Rentals. We made the call to book only a day or two prior to the moving day and we had a truck ready to go. We went to the office and following paperwork (give it 10 minutes for taking photos of existing damages so you are covered) we were out with the truck. The return was also very straightforward and quick. They quickly checked the truck and then refunded the deposit made on pickup. This is the second time we have hired with these people and would definitely go back again. Thanks for your service.

Needed a rental car just to pick up some items but it needed to have room for my car seats as well. There is a few places around dandenong, but this car rental place had the best reviews. It was a smooth process, very friendly staff, the car was great and drived perfect. Was a little on the pricey side but it was a 2021 model car. Deposit was easy to have returned as well. Over all definitely 5 stars. Will definitely come back when I need a car again.

When I visit Australia I used rent a vehicle from Budget or Europcar in the past. This time when I visited in August 2022 through one of my friends recommendation I rented a Mitsubishi Outlander (7 seater) from A & Jay Car rentals. I got a better deal from them and the vehicle was almost brand new. Service was excellent and it was very easy communicate and get things done with their team. Highly recommended

Rented a moving truck from A&J Car Rentals. Incredibly friendly staff and great service. Muttu was very accommodating, going over and beyond the basic service even providing secure parking space and a trolley for no extra cost while we rented the truck. The truck was amazing as well, very low kms, great functions and easy to use. Cannot recommend this business more, so much better than the larger companies.

I've been using this company for rentals for nearly 4 months now, they always provide a great service and supply me with everything i need. Vehicles are always clean and ready to go. They're also very understanding when it comes to any special requests i.e, needing extra kilometres or more time on your rentals.
