Okay, full disclosure here, I've been homeless since I got back home to San Diego on the 7th of September. I'm not driving a car but I did sleep on the sidewalk next to the port a potties on first for 3 weeks. There are 3 toilets right there and being 64 years old I have to go when I have to go so I crashed right next to the lot. Nobody ever complained to me about being there, I'm not a slob or doing dope, and I give the ABM parking lot at least the credit for not being jerks to me. Good location great prices.... I suppose lol
Parking at this facility was convenient and the price was reasonable because we were visiting "The Childrens Museum". Parking was only on one level, and manuering was tight. Parking and was a bite confusing to understand on how to park in some of the spaces as the spaces were designed to occupy 2 cars back to back, which meant the car in the back would get stuck by the car in the front. Which car would leave 1st was the question. Quite a few parking spots were wasted as the front parking spot was occupied.
This is the best place to park Downtown if attending a Padres game or other sold out event at PETCO Park. You will have to walk a few extra blocks but you will save a lot of time by not dealing with post game traffic. Easy exit to 1st Avenue which will take you north to the I-5. Don't park in the parking structures by the ballpark. If can take you hours to exit and get back to the freeway.
Beware that if you pay using the QR code link you will get taken advantage of. Paid $40 for 5 hours of parking with the link. My friend who also parked there, same time/date, paid $10 for 12 hours at the machine. What a horrible company.
Use the lot on 7/1/22 and 7/2/22 both days paid 10 dollars per day from 4pm to 4am. But use lot again the next week on 7/8/22 and paid 30 dollars from 4pm to 10pm. So i guess the price changes. Just be cautious
I paid cash and did not receive the receipt - so I had to make the payment by card again to get the receipt. I lost the cash because of the issue with machine - sent email to customer service but no response.
Parked mid morning on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. Machine charged me the correct amount ($10 for 12 hours). Car didn't get broken into. Win-win-win.
As of June 2023, $10 per 12 hours to park. The app is decent but seems to only allow up to 24 hours of parking at a time.
Place is nice open space parking, the price seems to vary with downtown events, $ 20-30
this is one of the cleanest lots I've attended in San Diego
Find any other parking if possible
minimum $25 cost.... ugggg
$40 to park here is crazy
…
Great place to park!
