You could use these guys, but why would you risk it. I can only report on my experience, which included the following: Taking things from the work site that weren’t theirs and not returning them.Lying about job progression and overestimating their ability. Charging way more than quoted. I have found them to be the most unprofessional and rude electricians I have had the misfortune to deal with. The job they were employed for ended up stretching out for five months, and they made excuses all the time, including trying to get us to change Providers because they didn’t know how to fill in paperwork or who was responsible for what. You may have heard that bad tradespeople blame their tools, Andy, and Drew blamed everyone else, and didn’t take responsibility for anything. Just checking on simple things or communicating seemed too much, which culminated in them leaving us without power when the connection finally came through because they didn’t wire it up. There are many good electricians out there, so learn from my mistake and keep looking.

Andy and his incredible team (Jesse, Patty, Immy) carried out an assortment of electrical work to my property, including new light switches, wiring, installed chandeliers, wall lights, and had to chase a solid brick wall for some bedroom wall lights. Their work was superb from start to finish, with exceptional communication throughout the entire process. They were flexible in the choices I went with, and ensured a high level of care and attention to detail - which I appreciated immensely. Some of the work was intricate, and their craftsmanship was top notch to ensure everything was as clean and neat as possible. I was extremely happy with their professionalism and genuine desire to accomplish best results for me as the client. Such a relief to find Andy & the AIF team! I needed some electrical work done to my apartment, urgently & in January holiday time when it's so hard to find any tradie. Andy could not have been any more helpful or accommodating to get the work scheduled and completed within a couple of days of initial contact. He fully explained the pricing to me before proceeding and the team that actually came and undertook the work could not have been any nicer or more courteous if they tried, working late in to the evening to make sure the work was finished that day instead of dragging it in to the next & they I was completely happy with everything and then still managed to clean up and tidy where they had been working. 10 out of 10, great company to deal with.

Andy has done work at my house on a number of occasions, from basic ceiling fan installations to more fiddly powerpoint installations to deal with old overloaded circuits. On each occasion he has been upfront, efficient and fast with his work, with excellent attention to detail and great communication over and above what you'd usually expect (with even follow up calls to make sure things are right). Uniquely, he is super friendly and exudes positive vibes which makes him a total pleasure to deal with. I dread when things break down and you need to get it fixed, but it's definitely less stressful knowing that you have someone you can trust and rely on to sort it out. I highly recommend him if you need any electrical work carried out.

Andy and Brad did a great job restoring, repairing and replacing a number of things in our house. They were friendly and communicated very well with us offering choices of how we wanted things to look. They were able to quickly identify a major problem with our lights not working at the back half of our house. It wasn’t a problem for Andy to remove a ceiling fan at the last minute. They were on time, gave us a good honest job, very reasonably priced and they even vacuumed up the small mess at the end. We were so disappointed with the service and the outcome when we used AIF recently. Despite briefing the owner prior to the job, the electricians who arrived to actually do the work had now idea what work was to be done. The products they used were very low quality but they then try and charge an exorbitant rate. The work that they did still doesn't work and we are now needing to get another electrician to remedy the work that they did. When you challenge the work performed the owner gets nasty and doesn't want to complete the work. He was affronted at being questioned. Do not use Andy from AIF.

AIF Electrical Services responded quickly to complete a job that was required fairly urgently to allow other work to go ahead. Julian came to do the work. He is a very pleasant tradie. He summed up the job quickly, performed the work and cleaned up before leaving. The Portuguese electrician who attended did an outstanding job in installing the 32-amp cabling from the switch board to my new induction cooktop. Andy came to our house and supplied a quote for a new switchboard installation, new aircon installation and a new double power point. Once I accepted the quote a date for installation was agreed. Just had service completed by AIF. After an initial assesment, AIF was called in to do the repairs - Friday afternoon, so we all know what that can mean. But no - AIF quickly ID'd the problem. The boys who came were brilliant put in lights, ceiling fans, smoke alarms, new reverse cycle system, rewiring on main board and wiring in renovated part of house, they were on time everytime, informative on what was happening and what was done, cleaned up thoroughly after every job to the point of vacumning and did a 5 star professional service cannot praise them highly enough. Andy and his team were extremely professional when called out to my home. He communicated with me and my family very well about what he was doing and the different avenues we could take in regards to the various lighting options suited for our house. His team cleaned up after themselves to a very high standard, vacuuming and wiping ceilings/wall down after working. Very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend!

I contacted Jesse from he AIF to hardwire a newly purchased oven. He sent Daniel and another colleague the following morning. The oven also had internet connectivity which required an Ethernet outlet to be installed in the cavity for the oven. The oven circuit breaker switch was also needing replacement. Daniel and his colleague got the job done professionally and were both very tidy. Would highly recommend them!

Andy and his team were fantastic. I had some extra power points put in and asked for a quote to install a split system at the same time. The Service provided was to replace a broken sensor and change the response lighting to another area. I was very pleased that they told me of the obstacles that would require further work and expense if they continued. This quality of customer care is hard to find from providers today. Although a very small repair they extended me the courtesy of keeping me informed which showed their professionalism.

Great experience. The three fellas came and replaced our switchboard and installed a new airconditioner within a fortnight. Easy to deal with. Tidy job. Gave me some info on other small jobs coming up. Stayed later to get the job done on the day even though it was stinking hot. Checked in to see that everything was correct afterwards. Very happy with the work done. Thorough inspection for the quote, unlike other companies. After some confusion with the wrong location of an external power socket, AIF Electrical were responsive and prompt in making the change at no extra cost.
