The worst experience EVER! so on December 4th I go to the shop on central Ave... Gill has the worst customer service ever. His attitude is horrible. As I'm telling him what I I want he insist that i need to get a new car so they can make sales. I find the car that best fits a new driver. Before I purchased I asked if there was anything wrong with the car they said no ( including AJ) the car is a '98 Honda Civic with over 200k miles. So I'm expecting to pay in full 1500 seeing that the car is of less value. So when it's time to make a offer he tells me 4900. I asked why so high he says "oh because you can always bring the car back and get it serviced for free, if you buy the parts" I thought about it but I still felt it was over priced. After asking multiple times if the car was ready to drive off the lot (seeing that the day before they had to get the things I asked of them to be fix before purchase) it was half done. The tire was still flat they claimed the emergency brake light was on because it was to tight so what they did was loosen the handle bar of the brake and they never filled the car up with gas or at least had the gas hand at a decent spot. But instead the gas light was on, when purchased. The moment we drove it off the lot it cut off. Steering will locked and all. I sat for the moment, and didn't give it too much judgement because it was a older car. A few days later my children were in the car while it was raining. The car cut off while in commute on the highway. That weekend it was snowing it cut off on me again. I called the office to see what they could do about it, this was on the 8th, I bought the car on the 5th, they said they couldn't do anything as far as reimbursing the money or swapping the car out Upon calling, their lack of customer service as well as sympathy was below bad. I feel that it BEING ONLY 3 days after purchase they should have gone through with my request. However, they still said no. A week later the car cuts off multiple times so I take it back to the shop seeing that they said service would be free. This was Wednesay December 20th. Within in 2 hours the car was "fixed". Not even a whole 24 hours later the meter hand flew right back to being over heated(H) At this point the car is making rumbling noises. And the whole car is engulfed in smoke. Heat doesn't work. Instead carbon was releasing into the car once the heat is turned on. It was pushing out cold air. Through the tenure of having this Honda Civic '98 It had this constant rattling sound under the car once you accelerate to 30mph.... Bad service and bad cars are not a good mix for this private owned business. I will not recruit anyone to use these flooded used cars. Potential buyers if you want to experience professionalism and quality cars.... DO NOT LOOK HERE. LIKE GILL SAID "IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING MONEY" and yes he's an employee... Update: so after December 20th, five days before Christmas my car cuts off I take it to get fixed as I said in the previous review. The moment I drive it off their premises it’s cut slap off... come to find out all the mechanics did was reset the system in the car so that the check engine light wouldn’t not cut on. And they took the thermostat out so I won’t see the hand reach up to the H (over heating level). That was the last time I seen my car. It was towed because it broke down the moment I drove off their lot from “fixing” it. I called them wanting to speak to AJ since he is the one that makes all the calls but for he past 3 weeks they have been dodging me. They won’t accept any of my payments. They ended up fixing the car but said I’m suppose to pay 300+ dollars because they had to get it from hunters towing and fix their mistake. I tried to explain to them that the car was towed because of their lack of commitment to fixing the said issue. They ended up fixing the car told me it was the radiator.. So from then till now I still haven’t been able to get my car a whole three weeks later. They’re not accepting any of my payments so that they can repo the car for non payment...

If you want an honest respectable dealer, you need to go to AJ"s. I've purchased at least 12 cars from him since moving here from NY, and I've never had one problem. Name any dealership in Charlotte or anywhere else that will fix your car for you and you only have to purchase the parts. I've had nothing but great things to say about this dealership. I moved to Charlotte in 97 and was in need of a car and this has been my dealership every since. He's an honest car salesman and trust me, you don't hear that alot about car salesmen. My entire family has purchased cars from this lot and not one of us have been dissatisfied yet!!!!! I've driven everything from a Toyota to a BMW from this lot and haven't had one problem...... This is my honest review!!!!

I had an 05' Chevy Equinox from Sign and Drive that never passed inspection I had it going on two years. Got the run around about parts and major problems since we had the truck. The check engine light would not go off kept getting stopped by enforcement because tags were expired due to failure of inspections. My husband and I went to AJ I told him exactly what I wanted he had it on his lot. Same color year make and model I wanted . My husband and I love our new truck and are proud owners of a 14' Ford Explorer. Very low mileage interior no stains cuts burns rips and exterior no scratches. Great cars on his lot..!! No hassle he's very honest and upfront with his customers and will work with you if you're honest with him..!! Thanks AJ

I wanted to wait a while before I posted my review to make sure I was satisfied with my vehicle. Prior to purchasing I had the worst luck with securing a vehicle, every place and I do mean every place gave me the run around. Guaranteed approval, we can get you riding in no time etc etc, I left with nothing. I heard about Ajs through a mutual friend and hesitantly gave them a try, I was riding the next day. My car unfortunately gave me problems, Aj immediately put me into a upgraded vehicle with no issues and no questions asked. Other dealers I'm sure would've said you are on your own but I sincerely do appreciate their customer service and ethics. I can say I am happy with my purchase and the service I have received thus far.

I came here thinking I was going to buy a car that would get me from point A- B nothing fancy and something I would not be proud of. What I drove off in was an ACURA MDX with leather sunroof and heated seats. It was by far way more then I ever thought I could have for my price range. I recommend everyone who is looking for a used car to go here. Aj and his son really gave me a wonderful deal and I felt blessed to not only have a great car but a car that I was very proud to own!!! I know multiply friends who have also purchased and everyone always talks about what a great deal they got and how honest the people are and how they really look out for their customers! I really am thankful I ran into a dealership like this.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! They are unprofessional and gives out messed up cars I bought a car from here in 2022 and my car had a bad engine, my boyfriend bought a Malibu from here and his car kept stopping in the middle of traffic and breaking down because of his engine. My friend just bought a car from here in March 2023 & now her car has no air, coolant leak, radiator fan messed up, radio dnt work. She kept taking her car back to get fixed and every time she got it back it was always something wrong with it. I repeat do not buy a car from here! They will take your money and sell you a messed up car!

Do not go to this place!!!!! AJ is very nasty and disrespectful! My sister went there last month and bought a Mercedes and she drove it for two weeks and the transmission went out. She put down $3500 and he made her wait four weeks to fix it. All he does is buy lemon cars that’s no good shine them up and sell them.

My friend suggested this place so I went there and trusted them to find out 5 months later my transmission is gone! Should’ve known from the get go when it was soo many problems but they told me it would be good. Had the car rigged up where no lights come on to tell you it’s a problem either. Thanks for nothing

I don't get the good reviews. This lot definitely sells salvage cars. My bumper flew off in the middle of the road one time and I had an airbag light on. Finally take it to the REAL dealership and they let me know the car was totaled before and they didn't put the airbag in right. Unbelievable!

They really were a life saver! My car had a carfax and it was good. Low mileage and still under warranty. it was no hassle, he understood my situation and took care of me. This is my second car from Aj's. If your honest there is really no reason why you cant get a car. I will refer anyone!!

This company sold me a vehicle with the check engine light that came on immediately after I left the lot. They did offer to service the vehicle when I arrived the Employees and Owner were very hostile and rude and we’re communicating

Not professional at all. All they seem to care about is getting the person in a car and then they are done, they will not work with you and make you do all the leg work. Very sloppy in my opinion.
