We had gone into AMR looking for a 2016 koleos and we're looked after by Tyrone the salesman. We had test driven the car and were in negotiations for about two weeks. We contacted Tyrone the morning after the final offer was made to proceed, but unfortunately were called back half an hour later only to be advised that the car had been sold the day before.... Naturally we were not happy at all to find this out and found it very strange that the car was actually already sold on the last day that the sales rep was still contacting us to see if we could close the deal... If the car was sold then why werent we told that on the day??? My wife was quite upset about the handling of the matter and decided to contact the dealer principal to provide feedback. It came as quite a shock when she began to explain the situation, however found the principal to be quite agressive and not at all interested in our experience. She said has never been spoken to so poorly, and by the principal of amr who was very rude and dismissive of our concerns. Apparently the policy of AMR mgmt is to "check their cameras" if ever a complaint is made. Obviously cctv only shows so much, but it was quite disturbing to hear that the principal took time to view the footage for the sole purpose of seeing when we originally came in and how many times we looked at the car since. According to his investigations we had visitied the dealership 6 weeks prior and had been seen on cctv on several occassions since then looking at the car.....So what??? Isnt that normal when you are shopping for a car??? Are the phones tapped too??? perhaps they should be so the principal can actually hear the conversations!!! Funnily enough she corrected him as we had originally looked at the car almost 5 months prior. When she tried to explain that we had been in negotiation for only 2 weeks, he said "what negotiation?" as if we hadn't been actively pursued by his sales team since test driving the car. Although Tyrone was great overall, it was the final part that we believe could have been handled better, that is all we wanted the dealer principal to acknowledge. We have dealt with many car companies over the years and bought many cars and have never been treated so poorly especially by the principal. My wife was very upset by the way he spoke to her but kept very calm during the conversation.. unlike him. In hindsight, we think that this has actually been a blessing in disguise. Knowing the attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by the principal, it is unlikely that the after sales service would be any different... This experience has left a real sour taste in our mouthes and naturally we will never deal with amr and again and will be telling everyone we know the same. Oh and we did get a great deal for the same car and excellent service from Peter Warren Renault, the kind of service you would expect.... AMR ....never again!
After owning Japanese cars for most of my life I never imagined that I would be most impressed with a French rival... Renault was a brand I thought would be best left alone until meeting the team at AMR Renault who spent some quality time to show me round the GT220 which ticked all the boxes I required plus some.. I will admit I was sold after the no pressure test drive which made me see the true brilliance the Renault had to offer... To my amazement Renault offered a 5yr warranty and a capped price servicing that was more than reasonable... So thanks to Luigi and Jeff from AMR Renault I have now picked up my new Renault Gt220 and can't wipe the smile from my face.. Once again AMR Renault thanks for all the assistance in making a new car purchase my most enjoyable yet, great car, great job, great team... Thanks a bunch.. Regards Tony Rubbo
A very rude bunch in your parts department need a serious attitude adjustment. As a face of such a big company I would hope for better customer service. I called up this morning and I asked for parts for my megane sport. Which the parts advisor called a "shitbox" great way to start a conversation with someone about to spend money with your company. I then asked for the quote to be emailed to my work email address to which i recieved the response "pfft, yeah i might... if i get a chance..." I own two renault sports and was looking to buy a new megane. I think of the customer service I recieved today is anything to go by I probably will not be using amr for parts or to buy a new car.
I picked up my new Renault Traffic LWB twin turbo on Saturday the 20th January from AMR. I put out a tender to approximately 12 Renault Dealers. From the start of the process to the picking up of the vehicle, Tyrone, Jeff and Ehsan were professional, courteous and helpful. Everything i asked, they answered, the accessories I wanted, they made sure were fitted in time, Ehsan got a great deal for me for finance and Jeff even came and picked me up from the train station to get me to the dealership, saving me the walk. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff from AMR and would highly recommend AMR to anyone wanting to purchase a Renault. Two thumbs up guys!
I've been looking for car for a little while now,and have been to a few car dealers and I have to say AMR Renault have been the most helpful. I've seen the new Renault Clio driving around and liked what I saw. Just stopped past on my way home one day just to see the car ,a salesman approached. I told him I just wanted to have a look at the car and not buying, he said no problem and answered every question and query I had. Even though I wasn't buying a car that day he took the time just to help me out. You can tell a business that just wants your money but this is a business that makes you feel like family. Great job to all keep it up see u soon!!
This had been my very first car purchase and although I was only on my Learners Licence at the time, the team at Renault Harberfield made the whole process really easy and hassle free. I did not know that much about the technical side of cars, but Con took the time to elucidate the general car operational principles. I found that he was took the extra mile in customer service delivery and made me feel included and valued at all times. My needs were listened to and met. The follow up services provided after the car delivery were also impeccable. A big thank you to Jeff, Con and Andrew for your efficiency, professionalism and patience!
Belated Thank you to AMR car specialist, Tyrone for his professionalism in assisting me with my car purchase last week. Tyrone went the 'extra' mile to assist in trading in my old car (i.e. pick up my old car from my home due to my basketball injury trading old 'manual' car for an 'automatic'). Bought a Renault Megane demo. Love the car. Great price, $9000 off the list price. The Megane comes with all the extra comforts as standard that you have to pay extra for in other cars, plus a five year warranty. Comfortable to drive. Staff are friendly knowledgeable and very helpful. Will definitely buy another Renault in three years, when I trade this one in.
I just had to deal with the receptionnist and she is not really nice and not smiling at all. For this kind of big company it's not very good to welcome people like that. I just wanted to talk to a manager and she was strict but not busy at all by her job. Anyway she really looks sad...
Took the opportunity to stop in and have a chat with the team on Saturday on my way back from the City. The team spent a lot of time with me, explaining the different options which were available on the GT220. Thank you to Luigi and the team who made my decision a lot easier.
