Coffee shop
"The store was nice and clean and the barista was equally welcoming to every patron, no matter their skin color"
"Just what the neighborhood needed! Considering the foot traffic, not many locally owned coffee shops in the area"
"Imagine being in a confused commercial/residential area confused at the rapidly changing landscape in the area, only to be totally shocked to find a gem in the rough"
"Great coffee (and fantastic service to boot)! I ordered a large iced coffee and promptly dropped it end over end, causing a coffee explosion over the wall, stool and floor"
"Love the quaint little place, though the space is put together very nicely"
The store was nice and clean and the barista was equally welcoming to every patron, no matter their skin color. He ran out of my requested coffee and rather than have me wait four minutes for the next brew, he offered a double espresso at no extra cost to me. Standard procedure, yes indeed and it is equally great when folks practice and promote good customer service. It is pleasantly addictive and globally appreciated! Thank you!
Just what the neighborhood needed! Considering the foot traffic, not many locally owned coffee shops in the area. This is a good coffee spot with solid coffee and experienced baristas. Nice selection of tasty please as well, but not much else. It's a small spot with all the essentials that always manages to fit everyone in. Gets busy with parents at school drop off/pick up times, but they clear out pretty quickly.
Imagine being in a confused commercial/residential area confused at the rapidly changing landscape in the area, only to be totally shocked to find a gem in the rough. This is About Coffee. Coffee is delicious, strong, well prepared with a great pastry selection for such a small place. Has tables and outlets to do work. Only downside, there’s really only table space for 8 max people.
Great coffee (and fantastic service to boot)! I ordered a large iced coffee and promptly dropped it end over end, causing a coffee explosion over the wall, stool and floor. The awesome baristas totally brushed it off, started cleaning and before I could even apologize, were making me a new one. And glad to say that the (new) coffee was great!
Love the quaint little place, though the space is put together very nicely. The barista was super nice and when asked gave suggestions about what would go with coffee we we're drinking in terms of the various cakes etc. The place give off a super nice, relaxed, family run feel. I nice.place to drink coffee, read a book and chill.
Ordered espresso. Asked for milk and was then told I needed to pay. Then I was told it was free but was then informed repeatedly that macchiato cost more. But I didn’t need to pay. Update - I very much appreciate the response. Definitely a misunderstanding. Will be back.
I love their matcha but they’re always closed when they’re supposed to be open. I’ve wasted so many walks coming here just to see they’re closed during their business hours. It’s 12:45PM on Sunday 11/7 and they supposedly close at 2PM but it’s closed. Update your hours.
The barista definitely knows how to make a great cup of cappuccino! The portion of the milk, milk foam and espresso came out perfectly and the coffee itself taste really good too. The zucchini bread is also a good choice for a little bite. It’s vegan and gluten free.
I simply love the simple idea of the name and vibe of this little shop! Barista was very courteous and had great attention to details, it is guaranteed you will not only enjoy your coffee, but the human interaction and it’s atmosphere here in Cobble Hill :)
Tiny coffeeshop just off Court Street, only a few tables, I wouldn’t recommend it for laptop work but if you want to enjoy a few minutes of peace & quiet, this is the perfect spot. The coffee is great and they have delicious doughnuts from DU’s Donuts.
A pretty low-key place for coffee, everything basic, coffee, snacks, spots to sit. Got a classic cappuccino.

Décor is modern. Coffee is fresh. Pastries are fresh. Staff member was extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient. I'm visiting from out of town. If I stay at this AIRBNB place again, I'll definitely come back here.
Update June 2023: problem still doesn’t seem to be resolved. Have been here multiple times when it is supposed to be open and it says closed. Seems pretty random for hours right now (here at 230 and closed)
Love this place! Come here as often as possible. It is usually quite and peaceful to study and get your work done. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great! Super friendly!
Dropped in on a Sunday around 4PM. Order an iced latter for myself and a hot latte for a friend. Got to try both and both were delicious. Cheers to the barista and the latte art!
Great service. The workers care a lot about their craft and it shows in their work. The service is excellent and I would recommend that everyone come here at least once.
Croissant was completely burnt and mangled. Coffee was watered down. Display case of food didn’t match the photos.

this is a nice place! the barista was particularly competent. i am often in the area and it is a joy to be able to go out and enjoy a latte in a ceramic mug.
Yep, it's a nice place. However, the coffee is nothing earth shattering & the ham/brie croissant would've been nice warmed. I'd go back, just not in a hurry.
Quaint and small cafe. great place to sit in the sun if you can grab a seat. I enjoyed a delicious latte and a tasty donut from du's donut's. Great combo
Small but quiet and cozy during the day. Music is not too loud. The coffee is good but unfortunately the choice of pastries is very scarce.
Nice little café, the staff is friendly. Nice coffee and banana cake. Perfect place to just grab a coffee and chill with friends or alone.
Lovely small cafe, cute place to sit with a laptop, service is pleasant, very clean, nice design, pastries looks delicious!
Cool, modern coffee shops with friendly staff and a great latte! It's a good place to get some work done or meet friends.
The latte I had was quite good. It was quick and the staff is friendly. I'd happily go back if I was in the area again.
