Acadia Drive Animal Clinic has been second to none for our family. We currently have three dogs who they are incredible with. They ensure that we get straight in since coming in with all three is a bit hectic and they treat both us and our dogs with the utmost respect and kindness. They take an approach that keeps both your pet and your budget in mind and while ensuring that your beloved pet gets what it needs. We have a pug who had some liver issues years ago and they were conscientious of the amount of necessary and unnecessary care he needed so we weren't billed for tests and visits we didn't need. Our pug has since completely recovered from his liver illness and is healthy and happy to visit Acadia. When we lost our first dog to cancer, Acadia was incredibly compassionate and caring throughout our difficult time. All of the doctors were with us the whole way, encouraging us and hoping our old guy would make it. When it became clear he wouldn't, the vets at Acadia were as heartbroken as we were over our loss. We were given as much time and comfort as they could offer in such a hard time and I know they handled the loss with both professionalism and love. Their pricing is fair and they will go the extra mile for you while taking excellent care of both you and your pets. I highly recommend Acadia animal clinic to anyone who wants the best care with a caring environment.

Mike Phillips is absolutely the best vet I have ever been to. He cares so much for the animals. I love the fact that he will be completely honest about procedures/tests and whether they are actually worth the cost or not and won't waste your money on things he doesn't think are necessary. He never makes me feel rushed and always answers any and all questions I may have. Keep up the amazing work Mike! The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and happy. Even when busy, they try to squeeze in a hello and try to get you checked in between all the other patients (you never feel forgotten). Also, my dog has fear aggression and the ladies there let me work on training with him to overcome that. You guys are awesome! The clinic itself is always incredibly clean and professional looking. The service is quick, but NEVER feels rushed. Your questions are always answered in a timely manner and If they don't know, they will find out for you. When I phone in, they always answer, even if they have to put me on hold due to the clinic being busy. The prices aren't unreasonable for check ups, vaccines, etc. 10/10

I went to this clinic just recently (May 2022) for the 1st time in years. My first visit was in 1990 for my first cats Norman and Vaighanie then for Mufasa. It is now many years since those 3 babies have passed on. This visit was my first in over 10 years when I had to put Mufasa down at the age of 21 at the 24 hour hospital in Shawnessy where I was recommended to go. The new office space looks great. Even though Dr. Blomfield has retired, the doctor who saw my Zumi was wonderful. Unfortunately, Zumi was not having any of the visit and turned into SATAN in a very tiny furry body! The poor doctor didn't stand a chance! I thank the doctor for her compassion and knowledge. So Zumi didn't get her check up...this day, I was given some medication to calm her for next time. I will be making a future appointment to have Zumi checked up on. Overall, the clinic has a very nice facility and the employees are wonderful and caring. The young tech at the front desk even carried Zumi in her case to my car. Recommended!

I’ve been bringing all my companions here for ove two decades. It’s a matter of pure trust, my companions trust in their vet. Brings me back every time. You know we could talk about the professional quality of care and friendly staff oh that kind of stuff. Personally, I look at it or try to through my dogs eyes. Will I let this stranger become a soon to be best friend? Yes! Love Acadia Drive Animal Clinic because my baby girl Emma Darling loves Dr. Mike and Dr. Peter. I’ve sent a few people with their companions there in the last few months. They all told me they live bed the service and are now staying at Acadia Drive Animal Clinic. They were very satisfied with diagnosis and service. Friendly staff always that know the clientele. This is very important that the animal knows where it’s at and it’s going to be loved on while being a patient. If my dog didn’t want to go, neither would I. Emma Isabel Darling or Emma Isa Darling LOVES TO GO TO THE VET. This is how I know they are the BEST. ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic care for my 15 year old Russian Blue cat. Doctor followed up with emergency clinic to get all test results and took the time to thoroughly examine my cat and discuss potential treatment for my cat which is suffering from early kidney failure and a urinary tract infection. The doctor ensured my cat was prescribed the right antibiotics and called me the next day to ensure that I had them and to let him know if we had any further problems. Going here for almost 30 years. The best!!! Just went back to get my dog his yearly examination and found out that he needs a tooth removed. A dental procedure that cost $450 five years ago is now $1400 to $2200. Business has been sold to new owners and when I questioned the cost, the clinic manager was rude and dismissive. It is no longer the clinic that it used to be. We are now going to Beddington Animal Clinic. Not only are they affordable, the also welcome your input and address your concerns

Acadia drive animal clinic has been my family vet clinic for 15 years. Sometimes it is very frustrating to try and get in there in an emerency. I have had to go to south fish creek a few times. But First off their former Vet Dr. Laura was fantastic( moved to Victoria) had a few that were just ok but Dr. Phillips has been terrific. Today he became fantastic. Here is the point. When it is time for your loved friend to pass, you require someone with campassion and emotion. Time to listen, ask questions, get you to remember the good times, shed a tear with you. Previous Dr Laura had it and Dr Phillps also has this natural born gift that makes a very traumatic time so much easier. I have lost many friends over the years as I have been animal rescue , it never gets easier to loose a friend, but when someone like Dr. Phillips is there it does make it soooo much easier. Thank you Dr. Phillips Dr dont ever loose that compassion

The staff are always friendly. They try to make you feel welcome and they also want to make sure your every need is looked after. It can be hard, taking your furbaby to a vet but I recommend this one. The prices are always cheaper then I expect. The staff are great, they really do care. From the receptionists to the Doctors to the help staff in the back. They will ensure that your furbaby gets the care he or she wants. Frankly, coming to these guys for my veterinary care was one of the best choices I ever made. Without question. I give them five stars every time. It only took two minutes for my cat to like the Doctor who was giving her the checkup. You misunderstand me... Ares HATES everyone!. LOL. She does not get along with anyone, except me and my dad. I can feel safe and secure in bringing my furbabies here. I 'know' they will be looked after and whatever issues they have will be addressed and resolved. :)

Use to have a great Veterinarian that we took our Westie to see but over the years the checkups started to be less and less thorough. Our Westie is getting older and had a small growth on his gum. It didn't cause him major discomfort but we wanted to get it removed. The vet barely caught a glimpse of the growth as our westie was moving around and she quoted $1500-$2650 to remove the growth. I couldn't afford that so we waited to see if it would go away. The next year I took my Westie to a new vet and had a thorough checkup. She looked at the growth closely and gave me a price of around $400. We booked the surgery and your westie is doing amazing now. Turns out the growth was caused by a little gingivitis. I'm so frustrated that he had to suffer with that growth for a year when it never should have cost that much. I will never bring my dog back here.

Dr. Laura is amazing! She takes her time even just during a regular check up, genuinely cares about any issues that are going on, gives honest opinions/options without trying to upsell you. She is honestly the best vet we have ever seen, and regardless of where we move within Calgary (or outside of Calgary) we will always continue to come see her! And I know going to the vet is expensive across the board, but I have never left feeling like I didn’t get my moneys worth. One of our dogs was suddenly suffering from constant scratching due to new allergies, she was able to see him so quick and thoroughly lay out a few treatment options. We ended up going with an injection used for environmental allergies and he has now been scratch free for 2 months! Our other dog is usually not much of a “people person” but Dr. Laura has definitely won her over!

Acadia was highly recommended to me by my dog breeder, and I have only taken my 4 year old boxer there. They have a couple of vets who are particularly expert in this breed, but frankly, all the vets who've seen my dog have been great. They're patient and gentle with my dog, they listen to my concerns and they really take the time to give me the picture of things. They've even given me advice on how well known training tips might apply a little differently to the personality of my dog's breed, which has been helpful. Yes, I get the feeling these folks enjoy and care about their work, and that they genuinely like dogs. Or maybe they just like my dog especially well. Hey, he is a great dog. But I'll bet you'll have a similar experience. I recommend Acadia. I'm sure you'll find you can be confident in their care and service for your pet.

Our cat, Andi, has recently become a patient of Acadia Drive Animal Clinic and we have nothing but positive things to share in our honest review of this veterinary clinic. First and foremost, not only has everyone that we have spoken with been willing to answer all of our questions, they were truly very patient and we never once felt rushed. Additionally, all of the staff we interacted with genuinely seemed to care about Andi and his wellbeing including throughout the days after his procedure. They also seemed to care about us as well which was greatly appreciated as bringing a pet in for surgery and caring for it afterward is difficult. We also appreciated their excellent hours, convenient location, and the emails sent out to confirm upcoming appointments. Thank you all for providing such amazing care to Andi.

Went here for our puppy's first exam with us. Everything seemed to go smoothly. Due to Covid-19, no one is allowed to enter the store. Instead you call to say you have arrived and you can either drop off your pet at the door or sometimes they'll come pick them up from the car. When you call, you can ask any questions you have as well as when they call you back to let you know they are done. Dr. Connie Tuck answered all of my questions and concerns, and provided suggestions on kibble I should feed to my new puppy. The only improvement I can think of is perhaps they could provide some sort of documentation of the results of the exam, but I'm sure it's in a file somewhere in their system. All in all, a great place to take your pet to get checked up. They even gave my puppy a mini Kong!

I was looking for a new vet after a very disappointing first vet visit near my community for my then 2 month old puppy. I looked for a vet in the SW/SE with lots of great reviews, good parking, decent hours and multiple vets in the same location. Acadia Drive Animal Clinic was at the top of the list, and they offered online booking which is so great. They needed to change my appointment date I had requested, but were able to find one close to the same date, so I did not mind. Dr. Connie Tuck was such a positive, helpful, gentle and thorough vet for my puppy. I was there for 2nd shots and did not expect her to also conduct a free thorough exam, so I was pleasantly surprised. This clinic is still quite close for me to drive, so I will happily return to it during the life of my Aiko.

The first vet clinic & veterinarian that I've really liked. They are caring and compassionate and always have your pet medication ready in a couple of hours after calling. I see Dr. Laura. She was extremely knowledgeable and caught things my previous vet did not during her yearly exam. Absolutely no pushing unnecessary tests and actually gave me suggestions to help with costs. I have a lower back injury, and Dr. Laura must have noticed I was in pain that day. I have a big kennel that's very heavy, and she picked it up and brought my cat straight to my car for me.. Just an amazing lady & team My kitties & I are so grateful to have found our furrever vet ⚘️

Totally thought I posted why. Always amazing with kougar. That cat is taken care of so well by so many people here who you can tell genuinely love him. They treat him like any other animal, but he loves when he gets their attention for extra treats the little brat. Thanks for taking such good care of him!!! A little edit, they were there when I couldn’t be for my family when kougar had to cross the rainbow bridge. They let my brother hold him through the whole process. This cat chose his owner, but knew his friends were with him to say goodbye. I now take my 2 kittens there now as well. They don’t like vets at all, but they like this clinic so far.

I love Acadia animal clinic and all of their staff. My dog has severe allergies and we spend a lot of time at the vets trying to keep her healthy. The staff at Acadia animal clinic always treat us incredibly well and remember us by name. I feel that they truly care about my dog and her wellbeing and they go above and beyond trying to help us. I always feel that they have time to listen to my concerns and to help me work through our problems and issues. I recommend them to everyone I know. We have been to lots of clinics for different things but Acadia is always our favourite. My dog is always excited to visit as she knows everyone loves her here!

Took my new fur friend to the vet for a checkup and some vaccinations. I’m a first time dog owner so I was a little concerned about everything, am I feeding enough/too much, am I grooming correctly, did I trim the nails correctly. The vet was SO great, and SO patient it was a great experience for both of us. This vet was the same one that my puppy saw before he was re-homed with me so I travelled across the city to make sure he saw the same vet at the same clinic he had some history with. I will be travelling to see them for future visits based upon this interaction rather than finding one closer to home. 10/10

These guys are the best. My elderly parents have been coming here for years. This past weekend their dog needed to be put down and it was a extremely hard time for them. Sadness, grief and all the other emotions that go with losing a loved family member. Dr. Mike and the staff were amazing during the procedure and afterwards were incredible in following up. They will never truly know how much it meant to my parents. I would recommend these kind and caring folks at Acadia Animal Clinic in a heartbeat to deal both with your pet & the owners as well. Just switched to this vet to have my dog spayed and Dr.Mike is amazing! i was so worried and stressed over my girls surgery but everything went better than i could of imagined. She's healing super fast and by the second day you wouldn't even know she got spayed. All of the staff is incredibly welcoming and very professional, i would definitely recommend this vet to anyone, especially if you are anxious or concerned about the care your pet will receive, as this place cares about your animals more than any other vet I've been too. They were very professional and straightforward with me about the process of getting my kitten neutered. They were up front about any costs as the neuter was covered with a voucher I got from the rescue, but there were some options for additional procedures that could be done like blood work and they made sure to tell me what was covered and what wasn't. My little guy ended up needing ear mite treatment and they called me right away to tell me, recommend a treatment, and told me the cost of it over the phone. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism of the entire team.

We just moved from Ontario and I was in the process of finding a new vet for my Shih Tzu and Yorki/maltese mix. This past weekend my 12 yr old Ceaser became sick again and I had to find a vet asap. Unfortunately we had to make the decision to have him euthanized and needless to say I was beside my self with grief and still am. Dr.Laura McKenny was so beyond amazing with Ceaser and with this devastated fur baby mama. I am so greatly appreciative of her and the clinic for helping me and showing me so much kindness. This is the best vet arguably in all of Canada. If I didn't live in Calgary I would drive a long distance to bring my dog Rupert to this vet clinic. Dr. Mike is so helpful and goes above and beyond to help Rupert. It is so nice to know that there is a place I can bring my beloved little dog and ensure he has the best care. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They are good about being on time for appointments but are obliging to fit people in when there is a cause for concern. It is usually busy but I've never felt rushed during my appointment. Dr. Mike Phillips is my dog's vet and I won't take him to anyone else. Dr. Phillips is very knowledgeable and always happy to see me and my dog. Dr. Phillips is respectful of my wishes and will give me the information I need to make informed medical choices for my dog without bias to his beliefs.

We have been seeing Dr Mike for about 20 years. Our pets have ranged from babies to seniors and the quality of care has not changed once. We never feel rushed. He is thorough and treats each of our fur babies as if they are his favourite client every time. Even our most nervous kitty felt at ease with him. Absolutely over the top and amazing care. Brought our cat in for a follow up from an emergency visit. Not her usual doctor but this was the first time being able to go into the clinic which was really nice. The doctor explained everything in great detail and answered all the questions we had. He gave us some advice to maintain our cats health and even told us an optional service would not be worth our money which I really appreciated him being honest and truly had his number 1 priority on our cat.

By far the top clinic in Calgary!! Have seen 2 of the vets and they were both amazing. Clear to see the love all the staff has for every animal that comes through their doors! So friendly and I am confident that our lil guy is in the best hands. Very knowledgeable and extremely fair pricing. I will not go anywhere else. My dog has been having horrible issues with his eyes on and off for the past year. I went to many different vets. Everything they gave him only made him worse. I made an appointment with Dr. Laura Mckenny and she was amazing both times. She was very kind and she knew exactly what the problem was. He was fully healed in only a week. Even though I live pretty far away from the clinic, I will be going to her from now on. Thank you!

I am a first time dog owner and new to Calgary so I really wasn't sure where to bring my puppy when choosing a vet. I decided to give Acadia Drive a try and they have been wonderful! I have brought my German Shepherd to see Dr Mike and Dr Laura, both have been amazing. Dr. Phillips is such a wonderful vet! We were so nervous for the surgery but knew our little furball was in good hands. Cheewa is recovering so well after just one day home and I know Dr. Phillips took great care to expertly help him and make this whole process as least evasive as possible! We started to bring Molly here when we adopted her, and I've never been happier with a veterinarian. Dr. Mike is awesome, Molly isn't afraid to go in the clinic, they're care is open, friendly, honest and no-nonsense - which I appreciate. In terms of pricing, reasonable compared with other places I've gone with my pups. Absolutely would recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for excellent care for their pets.

My cat went there to get fixed yesterday and they text me to let know how it went wich was amazing because I was so worried about him and after I got the text I felt completely unworried. Also today they called to see how he was doing I love that because it shows they truly care about the pets they help. I had all good experiences there they are a great vet to go to deffinatly going to keep them as his main vet.

The family just had our 12yr Old Springer Spaniel, in for a massive cancer tumour removed. The entire clinic was 110% mint. They came under the estimated cost for the surgery. Our dog came out better then expected. Growing up on a farm for over 25yrs. The Veterans are some of the best I’ve witnessed. If you have loved one pet. Hands down if you need pet care, this clinic will provide and deliver your needs.

I was looking for a new vet and saw the great reviews of Acadia Druve Animal Clinic and wanted to give them a try. I was totally impressed with the level of care my dog received. Dr Blomfield was very thorough and very knowledgeable. He took his time to really understand my concerns and to give my Sophie a thorough exam. I cannot wait to bring my other two pups in to see him! I love Acadia animal clinic. Going for many years, a few dogs that have come and gone. Professional. They're prices are fair (rare) and all three vets really care. I have had all three, and I don't care which one I get because they are all caring, respectful, and informative. Wait times are a little long at times, but I know it's because the vet is taking his or her time to get that loved animal healthy.

This is my third time coming to the Acadia Drive Animal Clinic. Every time I come the staff is friendly. However, what I find best about this clinic is their doctors. Dr. Hewitt is informative and passionate about promoting wellness in her patients. I told her my concerns regarding my cat be overweight and she calculated a meal plan to ensure my cat can get back to her ideal weight.

I love this place. Dr.Mike is amazing been coming here for 10 years by far the best experience I’ve had. They gave the cutest puppy bag for my new fur baby!! Came with all the info you’d need for a new pup and so many fun things. My last girl passed and Dr. Mike was always so understanding and helpful navigating her major medical concerns. I couldn’t imagine going to any other vet.

We’re new to Calgary and was looking for a good vet. Acadia vet came up with good reviews. We got in very quickly and everyone was very helpful. We were very impressed with how thorough the vet was. She showed compassion and helped my boy whom has anxiety be more comfortable. I’m so very grateful to this facility. I highly recommend them. This is our boy, he’s a big gentle giant.

Whether taking our dogs for an annual exam or dental cleaning or refilling prescriptions, we have had an excellent experience. The front desk and vet technicians are friendly and efficient. Dr. Scott is knowledgeable and answers all our questions. He has been great with all our dogs. We are confident our dogs will receive the best possible care from everyone at Acadia!

I have been bringing my two Greyhounds to see Dr. Weber for the last 4 years. She is not only a fantastic Vet who is attentive and knowledgeable, but she is also just a gem of a person. It is obvious that she loves caring for our pups and I look forward to continuing to bring our boys to see her. I highly recommend her as she has always provided exceptional service.

Dr. Connie Tuck and the staff at Acadia Drive Animal Clinic are my heroes. They were able to squeeze us in for an emergency walk in and got our pup the treatment she needed right away. I can honestly say that Dr. Peter Bloomfield is the best vet we have ever had. He is so caring with our pets, compassionate to the pet owners and just an all around amazing person. Dr Mike is amazing. Our dog had a hip replacement and has vet aggression ever since. Dr Mike spends every minute socializing our dog in such a positive way. The muzzle is only worn for shortest time possible and is followed with all kinds of positive reinforcement, treats and a happy dance. All the vets and support staff do an awesome job!

Dr. MIKE was very empathetic regarding our situation with Harley. Harley is clearly in his last stages and Dr. Mike made several suggestions to keep up his quality of life right now. Harley is doing better today with some medication and fluids. We are very grateful. We also always find the cost of care here is very reasonable. Thank you.

Dr. Mike Phillips is one of the finest vets I have come across in all my years of pet ownership. He's extremely professional and probably one of the most empathetic physicians I have ever met. You'd be crazy not take your pet to him. My current dog probably loves him more than me, she absolutely melts when he comes into the room.

I have been taking my pets to Acadia vet clinic for ten years. The staff are friendly and responsive , and they obviously love all animals. Dr. Mike Phillips takes the time to give detailed explanations and answers all of our questions about our elderly dog. When our senior cat died, the staff were compassionate and empathetic.

This vet is awesome! Doctor Laura McKenny is so great with our kittens. She takes really detailed notes, always remembers what has been happening in previous visits. Laura is so patient with us as we usually have a lot of questions and she always provides us great, helpful, in depth answers. So happy to have found this clinic!

Acadia Animal clinic is great .I have been taking my dog there for 5 years. Always attentive and caring . I had gone to a different clinic for an infection my dog had and it hadn't gone away, Acadia saw me right away and gave me more information and medication than the previous. I would recommend Acadia Drive Animal Clinic .

Peter, Laurie and Mike have been our primary vets and have all shown great care and compassion for our 3 cats and dog. They always make our animals feel comfortable and safe. While overseas on vacation they quickly emailed a record of my pets shots for our sitter. Outstanding customer service and care.

When our pup got a parasite, she made sure we knew everything that was going on and urged me to call in whenever I had a question! We love that you are open more days than a lot of vet centres and Dr. Laura is very compassionate, thorough, actively listens and explains everything clearly On the financial side, charges are slightly higher but not by much and we appreciate that they direct bill Trupanion insurance.

We are fairly new to Acadia, but had the absolute best experience with a vet ever! We have been with the same vet clinic for over 20 years and only recently moved to Acadia. This is the first time I have ever seen such a thorough examination completed on my dogs for an annual exam!

I have always felt the care and attention by everyone at Acadia Drive Vet is EXCELLENT. Excellent communication to explain and discuss issues/concerns etc. Even though my dog "doesn't like it there", everyone actively works hard to befriend her, be cheery and lots of treats.

I've visited this clinic with my geriatric cat and now my new kittens. Staff are friendly, efficient and the veterinarians are not rushed and very helpful wiry ideas and on diet & health. It's a convenient location for me minimizing the travel time and stress on my cats.

We had to take our dog in for a foxtail removal from his nose about 3 weeks ago. Stressful situation. I can't give enough praise to the staff and the vet we dealt with. We had the best experience ever. So grateful we found this clinic. They are exceptional in every way.

As always we received kind and patient care at Acadia. Dr. Phillips is always attentive and gentle with our dog who is really timid and nervous in these situations. The trip to the vet is never quite so scary as it could be when we get this kind of care.

They were very professional and caring. The cat did a good job with my cat, she is usually very stressed and anxious the whole time. But he was able to make her feel calm and relaxed and when he gave her her shots she did not even cry or flinch.

Dr. Peter Blomfield has been our vet for more than 20 years. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and down to earth. Dr. Mike Phillips is also excellent as are all of the staff at the clinic. I highly recommend the Acadia Drive Animal Clinic.

As my senior Shepherd gets older she is beginning to feel a bit worried at the vet. Dr. Mike took his time, made her feel comfortable and gave her lots of nice scratches and some liver treats. She left feeling happy, healthy and confident.

Getting Ronin in the door is always a bit of a challenge. But the staff is accommodating and once the vet gets the treats out he's usually okay. Great atmosphere and friendly doctors make the visit easier for the both of us.

Our first visit to Acadia Drive Animal Clinic was fantastic! The staff were all wonderful and the veterinarian was fantastic! This is a great clinic for all animals with great parking and location!

I brought my dog in to one of the Vet Techs to have her nails trimmed. We were greeted promptly, they took my dog in and five minutes later she was back with her nails trimmed. Very satisfied.

The whole team is fantastic. We loved Dr. Laurie Weber and were so sad when she left, but Dr. Mike Phillips was so warm, kind, and thorough with our 2 senior pups. We won’t go anywhere else.
