"This is the best park in Chicago"
"This playground is my favorite! There is always on the street parking"
"Play lot that is great for <8 to burn some energy"
"Just came back from visiting this park"
"The water area was recently renovated and it's lovely"
This is the best park in Chicago. No joke, my 20 month old spent the longest time keep himself entertained then he has in his entire life. The sand area, the gigantic splash area, and the bomb playset could have been designed by an eight year old child for himself and his younger siblings. Everyone has left toys in the pristine sand so that your little one can make sandcastles or just dig for ages using shovels, spoons, or trucks. If you forget anything at this park, people leave your belongings on the fence so you can easy grab them the next time you pop by. Overall an amazingly safe and clean park, well maintained by both the city and the neighborhood parents. You can feel the community vibe is strong here.
This playground is my favorite! There is always on the street parking. There is a big sandlot, a sand play area next to it, a toddler playground, a big kids' playground, toddler and big kid swings, a water play area and public restrooms with a water fountain! There are benches for parents to sit in each area. There is a small basketball court. There are monkey bars, slides and a seesaw. There are many shaded areas. The grounds are always clean. This playground has something for everyone, which means time for parents to play with their children, read, chat and relax!
Play lot that is great for <8 to burn some energy. Bathrooms aren't the best and the fieldhouse has limited hours during the summer. For younger kids (under 5) there is a ton to do, including a splash pad that is open during the summer. No fields, courts or space designed for bigger kids. The fieldhouse is small but they have a great schedule of activities, mostly geared towards younger kids. Trees provide lots of shade, but can get hot, especially at the sand box. Frequent movies and concerts in the park during the summer are one of the highlights of the year here.
Just came back from visiting this park. I took my 10 month old, 2 year old and my niece and nephew. Great for small kids. It's a hidden gem away from big streets and chaos. Even though it is small , it's designed quite nicely. My only concern was the other visitors leaving their left over snacks and garage around. There's plenty of garbage cans and does not hurt to pick up after your kids.
The water area was recently renovated and it's lovely. It's a great park because the splash pad is a great size and the attached park is great. The park area also has a sand box area and a water table, there's hop scotch and a small basketball area. Not to mention there is as field house in case someone needs to use the washroom.
Beautiful playground with water features. Most reviews states that the park is small, in my opinion this park is a nice size for a younger kids. Clean, beautifully maintain you will never thing you are in the middle of the city. Worth the drive around to find parking!.. I have 2, 4 and a 10 year old, they love thia park!
We have utilized the facilities of several fine Chicago Parks with first our children and now grandchildren. Many were fine, but Adams Playground Park under Maureen Billing tops the list. So many great activities in a relatively small space. The grounds are well maintained and the new water park is great.
Nice park in a quite not heavily trafficked area (great for kids) - nice water feature as well. It also has great programs for kids - highly recommend the “Young Scientists” program for kids 4-7 years old - weekly fun and educational hands-on activities for kids during the winter
Great park for toddlers, though not as much for the smaller kids. My crawling 10 month old prefers Wrightwood park or a couple of the Wicker Park ones. Unfortunate since Adams is usually the highest rated Chicago Park and it's steps away from me.
This is our favorite playground! There is a water area where the kids can get soaked. There is a large sandbox that has an umbrella providing a shaded area for play. There is a toddler playground section. A playground area for older
We took our daughter here every other weekend to hang out and play with her friends. This park is very clean and always crowded with lots of kids. Good place for kids and great place for adult to exercise.
Such a sweet playground for toddlers and preschoolers, particularly. Has sandbox, water feature and play equipment. Layout is well planned. Benches for adults and some lunch tables. One of my faves.
Perfect little park for young families. I just played there with the Super Stolie band. The crew were just great. The park was filled with friendly young families. Nice park equipment.
This is a wonderful park with separate climbing structures, a shaded sandbox and one of the best splash pads in the area. Parking is only available on the street and can be difficult.
If you have a toddler who runs off, this is a good spot for Moms looking for fully fenced parks. Ample entertainment including a splash pad and sandbox. Only one entrance!
Fun little jungle gym. My child adores the sandbox and the toys individuals abandon. Presently can't seem to see the water part open. Trusting by the late spring.
Nice park, lots of variety, as it has a sand box area, playground, swings, and splash pad. The entire playground is mostly shaded, which is nice in the summer.
Great options for big and small kiddos. Sandbox, swings, and a splash pad during summertime. A park fieldhouse has open bathrooms during business hours.
Amazing small playground please visit with your kudos ➕️ building offers programs check park district website or info information inside the building.
So disappointed that for the summer the water feature is closed to the public till noon and there are no warnings on line to give families a heads up.
Sad that the water slide is gone, but this is still great for letting the kids cool off and play. We always end up spending longer here than we plan.
Cute and clean little park with a little water park. Nice shaded seating. Parking is a little difficult but the little park is worth the hassle.
Fun little playground. My son loves the sandbox and the toys people leave behind. Have yet to see the water part open. Hoping by the summer.
Great little park in a great neighborhood, only downside is that the field house is not open on Saturday’s so if you go plan ahead!
This place is located in the Lincoln park area I think. Anyways, it was a very nice park. Very family friendly. Parking is scares.
LOVE this park! Huge sandbox, great water park, fun play structure! A great place to spend some time with younger kids.
I really like the amenities in this playground, lots of cool things for the kids to do. Great alternative to the beach.
Great park. Bathroom while the building is occupied. Outdoor water feature in the summer. Sand pit with lots of toys.
A very nice park for toddlers and young kids with amazing water play, climbing structures and a large sandbox.
A gem in the city. Quiet, good street parking, and plenty of space and activity locations for kids.
New splash pad is awesome. Great sandbox, slides, swings. Tough parking some days but oh so fun.
Nice place in the city to bring small children for sandy play. Nice, diverse group of playmates.
Great for toddlers up to 10 years old. Kids can spend hours here having fun in the sun.
It was a a great place for toddlers. The other Moms were great as well. Really nice.
A wonderful Oasis for children in the city. In the summer there's water for fun.
Splash pad was closed when we visit but you can still still play in the park.
Delightful place, but I never seen the field house open or close on time.
Cute park with a water feature. Great for toddlers and small children.
