Chicago's CTA system is gradually improving, but still not anything worth encouraging friends to try outside of the necessity it may be for your average commute. The blue line has added LTE on Verizon within the past few months, making the dated ride slightly more tolerable. Ventra has also started to integrate with mobile payments a bit better, but it's still missing the long awaited app for easy account management. Bottom line: there are plenty of public transit stations that are worse, but there are also plenty that are much better.

Relatively convenient accessible stop on the northwest side. Blue line trains are frequent, although the 152 Addison buses are not as frequent as other nearby routes. Slightly curved El platform with a full canopy is still quite exposed to the winter elements. The only issue with the bus connection is that while westbound buses stop right outside the station, eastbound buses require passengers to walk a half block east across the bridge and cross the traffic to the other side of the street, which is just not convenient.

I don't come this way often so , it's a little confusing getting around here ! I love the Set-Up , Street Bus Stop (# 152 Addison Bus) then the Blue Line Train at X-Way Level . You can go Downtown or O-Hare Airport , I was going a few stops to the Forest Park Bus Terminal !

This is the Addison Blue Line Stop heading to O'Hare or downtown. The escape escalator is usually operational along with the elevator. I have never personally used the elevator, only spotted functioning. There is no vending machine.
