A big thanks to Michael, Kakadu Caravans and Adelaide City Caravans. We seriously could not be any happier with the build and quality of our Sanctuary III full off road caravan. We had the van built through the most challenging time to have a van built, due to Covid and massive demands on the caravan industry. However, the van we received is second to none. We feel this is due to Michael being an owner operator as the buck stops with him. It is impossible to keep everyone happy operating a business however the personal service and Michael's passion really makes a difference. Michael got to know our family and is now considered a friend. This is very rare in this day and age of big companies and production line type businesses. We personally watched Michael's business grow and expand as you would expect with the build quality and pricing. Michael will genuinely try and work through any issues and get a result everyone is happy with. Michael is a busy man and can be a little hard to get hold of. During the build process he put on an assistant called Tayla who is fantastic. Tayla is very professional and highly efficient. Robin who works along side Michael is a wealth of knowledge and a can do man. After sales help has been amazing. Micheal had personally helped us with a holiday issue which was totally unrelated to the van. He helped us big time. To sum up, we have a van that has been a game changer for our family and lifestyle. We can't speak highly enough of Kakadu Caravans and happily recommend them. Simunsen Family

My first interaction with Michael from Adelaide City Caravans was at the Caravan and Camping Show, Adelaide. I had an idea of what I wanted but was limited in caravanning experience. I had spoken with several other dealers at their dealerships as well as at the show. They mostly seemed frustrated with the questions I had and often cut me short. That didn't prevent them from pressuring me into signing on various vans even though I was unsure. Michael was more than prepared to not only answer my many questions, discussed the various subjects at length in an understandable way while physically showing or demonstrating the action if appropriate and reasonable to do so. The experience was positive, Michael was a complete professional, approachable and very open in his dealings. The Kokoda product that he sells reflects a high quality, excellently finished unit fitted with all the commodities at a price that is commensurate with higher priced competitors. I am pleased to recommend this company and know where I will return for future purchases in the van world.

BUYERS BEWARE misleading and dishonest. We were interstate buyers buying a van (in stock) and were told that our deposit would be refunded if we didn’t proceed with the sale as we hadn’t seen the van. After speaking with other caravan owners we decided not to go ahead with the sale. Save our money and look at other caravan manufacturers. And I’m so glad we did. When we informed Adelaide city caravans we were pulling out of the sale we were told we wouldn’t be getting our deposit back and it was just too bad. Michael and Robin are dishonest and I wouldn’t trust either of them. We lost a $2,000 deposit for a caravan we never even seen in a state we never even visited.

We just purchased a 2015 Jayco Silverline from these guys. Michael and Robin went above and beyond my expectations during the purchasing process. Both these guys are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There was no high pressure sales pitch. Michael provided excellent guidance through the purchasing process. Robin towed our van to our home and spent a lot of time during the hand-over process explaining all the features on our van. Excellent follow-up after the sale, answering our questions and providing support. One of my best purchasing experiences of my life!

It was love at first sight when we stepped into our Kakadu 'Kindred Spirit'. Michael heard & understood everything we were asking for as a full-time traveling family of 3, steering us to the Kindred Spirit which is our perfect fit. We recently bought a Kakadu Drifter Extreme. Michael and Robin were so patient. We visited four times before making our final decision to purchase. As newbies to caravans Michael and Robin have been invaluable with their knowledge and help with adding extras we wanted to the caravan after purchase. I could not possibly speak more highly with regards to customer service and quality of the caravan. We love it.

We were about to buy a caravan and no one would get back to us. Also advertised price on the internet was $64900 but we we went to talk to someone the price was $66900 for the same van and they wouldn’t even contemplate matching the advertised price. Very dis heartened with their attitude which was take it or leave it. Their loss as they have now missed out on a sale and the extras we wanted.

We bought a Coromal caravan from Adelaide City Caravans today where we met Michael and he was fantastic spending plenty of time with Wendy and myself discussing our needs.
