If you need a car rental in Melbourne then it’s Advance Car Rental, they are just awesome and no other company can beat their pricing and service. I asked my relatives and friends to suggest me a good rental car company and I ended with a suggestion like Hurts and others which were so expensive I looked online and I came across Advance Car Rental, their Google reviews were too good to be true but I got to say they provide the best customer service and have earned every single review. I rented a car twice during my stay in Melbourne and I had such a smooth experience, I picked up and dropped the car from the Airport shuttle in Melbourne Bonn was my contact person and I was provided an upgrade for both trips, as the car I wanted to book wasn’t available but he still made the booking for me with the same pricing and upgraded me to a bigger and better car, which was good and I didn’t have to pay anything extra. The first car I got was a KIA Stonic, which was brand new and drove only 4000 km and the second car I got was the Mitsubishi ASX, I had a fantastic drive with both cars. I have called their office and spoken to other staff members as well and they have always been very polite and nice Keep up the good work guys and thank you Bonn, you are awesome!!

Highly recommend to rent a car from here! Overall top-notch service and will definitely use them again when I am back in Melbourne! 1. Reservation of a rental car is so easy: Communicated via email and phone with Radhika and Bonn to reserve 2 cars for the family and it was easily done over the phone. 2. Added extra mileage on the car just in case we drove too much and Advance Car Rental simply helped topped up some additional cost that still made the car affordable compared to other car rental companies. 3. We had a slight tyre issue on our journey and they were quick to advise and follow up with us to ensure that we were being taken care of. Top-notch service. 4. Front Desk service was amazing (sorry didn't get your names!), the lady who helped with the payment and explanation of the tolls was amazing, the gentleman who helped with checking and passing us of the car was amazing as well! I was staying at Southern Cross and after reading related comments found here for car rental companies, I decided to check Advance Car Rental which actually is outside CBD closed to Queen Victoria Market. There I met Sid, who patiently and detaily answered my enquiries. I found him very helpful and trustworthy. The rental process was easy and smooth, the vehicle was exceptionally new just above 10k milage and in perfect conditions. As I was driving delightly towards Great Ocean Road, I received an unexpected call from Sid, telling me I had left my credit card at the store. I actually could make it simple by reporting loss to my bank, but since Sid had shown he's a reliable and trustworthy person, I decided to ask him if he could safekeep it until I returned to Melbourne city days afterwards. He readily offered his help. I am writing to show my appreciations for Sid, for his service plus the vehicle's quality. It was a five stars plus five stars' encounter.

I discovered Advance Car Rental through a travel blog. I was very surprised by how competitive their prices were compared to other car rental companies in Melbourne. The price I paid for the Camry I rented was cheaper than what those companies were charging for a Corolla (not to mention many of them were receiving subpar reviews from their customers despite the premium prices they were charging). Pickup from Melbourne Airport return at CBD Melbourne office, rental 11 days cost only $855 AUS, limited mileage to 1 day 200km, for 11 days total 2200km more than enough for my trip, I trave 1300km for 11 days. Walking distance from ibis hotel to car rental company. We had a great experience at advance car, staff at CBD very friendly and return car process fast within 5 mins. I had a free upgrade to SUV and the car is new, mileage only 15000 km done. I rents cars a lot in many country around the world, this is one of my best experience, definitely recommending this to anyone.

Great location of the shop since it is in Melbourne CBD which is 5 mins walk from Queen Victoria Market. Advice to rent their latest Outlander SUV which is 2021-2022 model which the car supports in build GPS and Wireless CarPlay that makes your road trip to Great Ocean Road easier. Didn’t gave a 5 star because I was charged additional $38 for additional distance which I trust I didn’t. Please take note of the odometer at the beginning to avoid the additional charge. Cheers!

Couldnt be more happy with the entire experience, they were so helpful when my payment could not go through online and held my car reservation without a deposit. Got the car within 15 minutes and was guided through all the details of driving around australia. They even gave me a free upgrade! The booking was smooth, I called them and they patiently explained the options . When I came to pick up the car the person desk told me about traffic rules and how to pay for toll as I am from not around. I liked the transparency. Car was nice conditioned we went to Phillip Island and 12 Apostles through Ocean roud Dropping off was also smooth.

We came across ACR through Google only when we wanted to hire a car for Great Ocean road.. It was our first visit to Australia & I had no experience of driving here but Mr. Pramod guided us very nicely & even taught me all rules & regulations very patiently.. I highly recommend ACR to everyone!!

We planned for a drive on the Great Ocean Road and was able to immediately get a car from ACR within 30 mins. The folks were really helpful in explaining the tolls and rules followed here. However, the total expense seemed a little bit on the pricey end - Detected one star just for the price.

Great service - super friendly and responsive. The car was reasonably priced and any fees were well explained - there were no surprises. We left an item in the car on return and the team found this quickly and arranged for us to collect it. Would recommend highly and would book again.

Great value for money. Pick up from Melbourne airport wasn't not so direct but was smooth. Just follow the instructions from their email. Pick up from a carpark 2km away from the airport however, they have frequent shuttle buses to ferry you over. Will definitely rent from them again.

Car check out was slower than we are normally accustomed to, but car was excellent and car return quick and easy. Hint park around the corner - off Queensberry St. Return of deposit was a bit slow, had us worried for a while. Close to trams if you need to use them to access a rental.
