Avoid this chemist at all costs as your purchase will be a costly one! My elderly mother has been a loyal customer here for many years and normally deals with Lisa. The last time she went to the chemist she bought from Lisa a number of random baby related items which neither she nor any in the family had use for. All of these items were GROSSLY overpriced. When I discovered these items with her medication I put them aside to return them the next time. I checked the bag for a receipt, however, they only gave one for her medication. When I went back today, Lisa said the returns policy was 14 days and refused to take these items back. Avoid this chemist and if your elderly relatives have to use it be very careful that they are not taken advantage of. RIP off Ireland is alive and well in Advance Pharmacy Drumcondra!!

Very friendly approachable and knowledgeable staff. It has a very community feel to the pharmacy even though it's close to the city centre. Staff always remember your name and are more than willing to give you all the time and attention you need in explaining things, especially with prescriptions and medication. I've been getting my prescriptions here for years and can honestly say it's always been a pleasant experience.The prices are very good and the service is excellent. Even if I'm looking for something they don't usually stock they'll always offer to order it in for me. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy for all your prescription and over the counter medicines needs.

Worst experience ever! Gotta to “announce” to the whole pharmacy that I was looking for pads cause the girl didn’t let me get in and take it for myself. Definitely over priced pharmacy. Paid 17€ for painkillers, that wherever else would pay top 11€. I mean, seventeen euros for painkillers, serious? Are ya literally making the painkillers there to be this overpriced? Nah, it’s better to walk 10 extra minutes and find stuff for regular prices. Not the only pharmacy in drumcondra and definitely not the be best one either.

Absolutely disgraceful that these people are allowed to charge the prices they do. I used this pharmacy recently as it was the only place opened at the time and they charged me €18 for a box of pain medication which costs €10-€12 in other pharmacies on the same street!! I noticed their prices on other products on the way out the door and their mark up on everything is absolutely ridiculous!! I refuse, even if I was desperate, to ever set foot in this rip off place ever again.

A week ago I needed medication for a health problem for a week five times a day .The medication cost me 55 euros in a pharmacy near the hospital that I was attended. This week I needed more medication for three days and five times a day (the half than the previous week). The price in Advanced Pharmacy has been 56 euros for three days. They almost charge double for the same medication. I really do not recommend that you go to this pharmacy.

I was charged €24 for 24 nurofen plus tablets, they wanted €17 for 12 tablets. I figured out l was been ripped off but did not know to what extent. On my way walking back up Drumcondra rd l checked the price with both Parks and Boles chemist's which are only a very short distance away, they were both charging €16 for the same product. I checked the price with a few more, mainly €16 with an odd €17. Disgusting behaviour by this chemist.

Medications, prescription and over the counter, cost practically double the price here than anywhere else. My monthly script cost €95 here. When I enquired in the other pharmacy nearby they said that it would cost €55 in there. Complete rip off. How they get away with their pricing I don’t know.

I would recommend caution when dealing with this particular chemist, as they have allegedly overcharged me for the medication, Ozempic. I believe I may have fallen victim to a scam, as the price I was charged was more than double the regular price.

This pharmacy charged me 18 euro for one weeks supply of prescription medication. Absolutely bowled over by the cheek of this in the midst of a cost of living crisis. It would have cost 7 euro in another pharmacy.

This is a very unpleasant pharmacy, everything is severely overpriced, and some of the staff are unfriendly. Parks and Boles pharmacies are both close by and have that lovely family run atmosphere.

No stars overcharged me for medication that was 5 euro cheaper in every other pharmacies. When I asked why I was given no explanation so I asked for refund which was given but no apologies.

Fraud pharmacy. Charged me 108€ for the same medicine which I check was for 35€ from another pharmacy in city centre. Just check with other pharmacy's rates before getting robbed here.

Guys, make sure to check the price somewhere else or just google it before buying here. You may find it way too expensive, sometimes up to 40% extra. The people are nice.

Avoid. This pharmacy price gouge to a ridiculous level. For example: 17 euro for 2 FFP masks. 10 euro for 5, 2 minutes walk away. Profiting off people doing their best.
