Avoid this dentist office - Esp Dr. Kang!!! Absolutely the worst and unprofessional dental experience. Today was my second time seeing Dr. Kang for a filling. The first time she was rushing and impatient and I thought it was cause she was busy. However today when I went in for my second filling, as she’s doing the filling she proceeds to chat with her dental assistant about how she rushes through fillings because she doesn’t like doing fillings. She kept mentioning how she only likes doing extractions and root canals. This was while I’m in the middle of my filling that’s she’s saying multiple times that she doesn’t like doing filling. This is obviously upsetting for multiple reasons since I’m a patient and she’s currently doing a procedure on my that she’s saying she doesn’t like doing and that she rushes through. She finally finished my filling (partially since she was supposed to do two areas and only did one) then handed me a mirror and I noticed a chip in my tooth that she did a filling on (to clarify this is my front tooth so I would notice if I ever had a chip there). When I asked her about it she said she didn’t do that and she would be honest with me if she did. All I could think about was how she was doing my filling and talking about how she rushes through fillings. I then looked at a picture of my smile from yesterday and noticed there was no chip there (just to ensure I wasn’t crazy)! I was going to leave it alone but when I got to the front desk, I felt it was necessary to speak to her again. She came out and when I stated my concerns about her comments during my filling and my chipped tooth, she proceeded to tell me how professional she is and how she’s done thousands of fillings. She said I could speak to the main Doctor, who happened to walk in right when she said that. When she asked him to talk to me he looked over at me and went straight to the back. I didn’t get a chance to speak to the head doctor and I left with a chipped tooth. Extremely unprofessional practice, horrible customer service, and Dr Kang is hands down the worst dentist. No better than the head of the practice who doesn’t care about the health, care, and satisfaction of his patients.

I ended up at this dental office by mistake. I was headed to another place for the first time and saw the sign "dental...." and thought I had reach. Then they said I am in the wrong place my name is not down for an appointment. I called the number of the other place they said I was late and can only see the kids and not 4 of us that day. I looked at the lady behind the desk and asked can u see us. She said yes. I said then this is divine intervention we are staying. Our experience here was definitely 5 star. Linda was superb with my 4 year old first time visit and even with me. Daniel saw my daughter and husband. They said she too was excellent! I already recommended my friends.... thank you guys for the great experience.

Love love love this place. We have been with Dr Sarji for many years and have been extremely happy with him, his staff and their work. Most recently we had two emergencies on was for my husband pain in his tooth on December 25th at night. I called in and left a message. I received a call on Dec 26th 8:30 in the morning and was told to come right in. The second emergency was for my son broke his front tooth this past Sunday night, I called in and then showed up when they opened the next day. He was seen and his tooth fixed beautifully. He is 17 and wanted to go right to school he was so happy with the look of his "new" tooth! I totally recommend this place and the people in it!

2 stars for being able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly. I was experiencing pain following dental work and wanted a second opinion. The staff at reception was nice and didn’t have to wait long. But once I was back in the exam room the staff I interacted with seemed bored and annoyed with how much detail I was going into (some of which was explaining my anxiety which I specifically picked this place to handle.) After a 5 min exam the doctor continued to tell me not to worry and everything was fine. Historically telling an anxious person not to worry isn’t the best way of handling things. I’m still dealing with pain but had to find a different office to address.

Review#1 I have used this facility before and wanted to go again for cleaning but when I called them for an appointment, I was told that everything is booked till May. 3 months in advance is booked for hygienist. Lady who picked up phone was least interested in making any effort of mentioning which date is earliest availability and she was least concern about accepting business. I decided to look for hygienist somewhere else. Review#2 I called to make an appointment second time around and from making an appointment to receptionist to hygienist to doctor, everything was smooth and very professional.

Never understood before why anyone was afraid of the dentist until this office. Had the most painful cleaning of my life (and I’ve been a frequent dental patient having gotten several root canals). Literally near tears - the dental assistant seemed to have it out for my teeth. Made the mistake of going back to get a cavity filled after confirming the assistant would be different- no pain issue this time but the dentist didn’t file down the filling adequately so now it’s difficult to floss the tooth with the filling (and not pleasant). Never returning and would not recommend.

Having a tooth pulled is one thing but a tooth, that was overdue, can break into many pieces even when a pro like Dr. Sarji is working. He is simply, great at what he does. It took well over an hour to remove all the fragments. He took a couple of X-rays, at various stages, to make sure he got it all. I expected, with all that time and digging that the pain would be unbearable. Happy to report that besides needing a little ibuprofen I only experienced a little soreness. Advance Gentle Dentistry has a great staff who are also great a what they do.

Enjoyed this place when I first started using them then they fell off big time. Called and it was hard to get in touch with someone the last time I had an appointment and wanted to reschedule. I called like 5 times in a row and was placed on hold or no one picked up. Called 10 mins later and the same thing happened. Arrived there to pick up records and place was empty and a person was at the desk, I was left confused to why no one picked up the phone/ kept it placing me on hold.

I went here a couple weeks ago for the first time. The cleaning was definitely gentle and the staff were super kind but Dr.Sarjee informed me I had two cavities. I went back to my original dentist to check on it and learned that I actually had no cavities and almost spent $500 on nothing. It turns out they were just stains in the groove of my tooth. I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to warn other people to consider a second opinion before getting your teeth drilled here…

I thought I had a cavity so I made an appt. Here. I went they did x-rays and an exam and found no cavity. But what they did find is that the pain was probably from too much carbonation (I love seltzer). He showed me with a mirror that it was causing some gum erosion and that it may had been an exposed nerve. Then they fit me in for a cleaning. It was by far the best cleaning I have ever had in my life. It was a great experience and informative. RIP seltzer.

The reception staff is quite rude. It could be that I have a misunderstanding of what their job responsibilities are, but when calling to make an appointment I was given an attitude that was not subtle in the slightest. When I asked to make an appointment, the woman on the phone said "Oh my God," exasperated, as if I was wasting her time. Attention to detail is not there as well, when I had to have 4 phone calls to look up a simple insurance issue.

They don't call themselves Gentle for no reason. They were super sweet and have a very friendly staff. They also have a very clean environment. I absolutely enjoyed my experience, and this is coming from someone who's had a total of 5 dentists in less than a year. The Dentist was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of feedback on what I can do with my teeth. I even got a goody bag. Thanks so much.

Had an amazing dental cleaning with hygienist Zahaija (not sure if I spelled right)! She was gentle and thorough. She explained what she was doing and what she saw. Explained how I could improve and was overall very informative. Super pleasant for what it is. Luckily, I didn't have any cavities, so I can't comment there. Front desk was super nice and so was the dentist I recommend them !

I have had terrible experiences with dentists through out my life and can be very particular about my dental services especially when it comes to discomfort. Igor Kostanyan is the best dentist I’ve ever had. Personable, direct, listens, and has a great since of humor. I’ve had MAJOR work done by him this hear and for the first time in my life I’m always happy to go back to see my dentist.

I went to Advanced Gentle Dentistry for a consultation. Dr. Igor was very clear about the options I had. His explanation convinced me and I made a second appointment. I put myself in the wonderful hands of the hygienist who did a gentle GREAT job. No doubt I would recommend this dentist office since the waiting time was not long at all, very relaxing atmosphere and profesional doctors!!!

Beware - Made an appointment, filled out all of their paperwork, etc. They emailed and robocalled and texted to confirm my appointment. Got out of work early and an hour before my appointment they called to tell me they don't take my insurance despite me getting their information off of the health insurances page and then cancelled my appointment. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

I have been a patient at Advanced Gentle Dentistry for about six years and I have no intention on going anywhere else. I have received excellent service from Dr. Kostanyan and the new Dental Hygienist(can't remember her name right now). Not to mention the atmosphere is pleasant as well as the staff at the front. They do their best to be flexible with the patients schedule with regard to appointment times. The waiting room is pleasant although I am happy to say that you do not spend much time in the waiting room. I highly recommend.

Dr. Sarji is great! His office staff are just as warm and friendly. He always does an exceptional job, even though I dread going to the dentist, he tries his best to minimize any discomfort. The doctor saw my mother who had a fallen crown for ‘an emergency’ appointment. After paying $250 my mother saw the tooth fall literally 5 hours after leaving this office. if you have this kind of money, surely don't spend it there, the doctor was rude and clearly unprofessional.
